Volume 14 Chapter 17: Training Again
“What’s the matter with you guys?” Keith turned his head over to Coen and the other students. He had noticed that they had a dark expression throughout knight class. Coen sighed,
“Keith, how could you act so nonchalant when the finals are coming up?” That was something that they were all worried about. Finals. This was something every student threaded.
Helm added, “From what I hear, this year's finals will be more difficult and challenging than all the other years.”
"Rumor?"
"No, it might happen because our generation is better than the last." The stronger the generation was, the higher the standard. Their generation was on a different caliber than the others.
“Are you kidding me?” The others sighed.
Keith waved them off, “There’s no need to be so anxious. You guys are doing good for the most part.” Tutoring and effort. From time to time, he would go to their class to help them out with their work.
"I doubt the instructors would send us to our doom or something." Yes, the tests were weird in themselves, but they were reasonable and to the curriculum.
“You’re right!” Coen and the other students took a deep breath, gathering their composure. This was true as well.
“Good, now all of you come at me at once. We’re going to have a spar.” It had been some time since he practiced with them. Let’s see how much they have grown. But when he was about to, that was when everyone had taken a step back.
"What's the matter with all of you?"
“I’m good.” “I don’t want to be thrown into the atmosphere.” His absurd strength was not something they could handle.
“Come on! It’s not like I’m going to bite your head off.” And that was how the day went by as he trained with the F-class students. Krystal and Jack could only shake their heads as they watched this slaughter.
“Ow, Instructor Tennol, do you have to throw me so hard?” Keith was being thrown to the ground by this demon instructor. But she laughed,
“Would it be considered training if I didn’t?” Keith was one of the few people who could handle getting ragged-dolled. Keith continued to get his shield training from her; rather than learning something new, it was more so to get used to the feeling.
"Weren't you throwing the F-class students around?" The exact same thing. Keith threw the Coen and the other students around during the training. It was a bloodbath from the get-go.
“But I must admit, you’ve trained the F-class students up.” Tennol laughed. Coen and the others had gotten stronger. When you compare them to the ones a year older, they are much stronger.
"Mmhmm, they've been working hard to do so." Keith laughed before he asked, "But Instructor Tennol, the academy isn't going to do anything crazy for the finals, right?" Coen was right to be worried. Keith calmed them down, but he also had some thoughts about it. There were a lot of outliers occurring this year.
"Relax, there's no need to worry about it at all." Tennol waved her hand.
The two continued to practice with one another before they had finished, and Keith was going to return home. I should also get myself ready for the practical as well.
“Guys, I will be going out to practice again.”
“What?” “Again?” The others were surprised that Keith had decided to go out and practice again.
“Mmhmm, I’m going to be working as much as possible.” There was something that he had to be working on. Eri tilted her head, “Papa, is going out?”
“Mmhmm.” Keith patted her head, “But I’m going to return once I’m back.” Keith smiled as he stretched his hands into the air, “Diana, I will leave it up to you and Udine to make things.”
“Understood.” “And Nephele, you got the cart, right?”
“Mmhmm! You don’t have to worry about anything.”
“Good!” Keith laughed as he headed off to the private training ground. He was going to practice as much as he possibly could. Gravity and water magic. He had been focusing on his water magic, but he also needed to work on his gravity, as it wasn’t something he could overlook. I need to get to at least three times the gravity.
That was his end goal right now. Now, let’s get to work.
What do you think?
