What Do You Mean There Are Other Transmigrators In My Harem Fantasy?

Chapter 984: Oh, It's You Again

So… Mother just did that… And I have no idea what 'that' even was…

Were they all dead? Or did Mother just teleport them somewhere else?

Plus all that screaming at the end there… Just what did she do to make them scream like that? Because I highly doubt they started screaming just because they saw Mother.

Was it some kind of illusion or something?

Mother made her way back to me with a smile on her face, "Ufufufu~ Shall we go back now?"

I gave Mother a look, "Ermm… What happened to all those Off-Worlders? Did Mommy kill them?"

"Ara, ara? Is my little one worried about them? Ufufufu~ There's no need for my little one to worry about such trash~ Even if they were to cease to exist, there's no need for you to worry~"

I read between the lines and understood that she most likely teleported them somewhere else.

I know Mother well enough that she wasn't just going to kill them senselessly like that, she would have at least extracted information from them first before she disposed of them.

Just as I was thinking about asking Mother where she had sent them to, a portal opened up in the centre of the clearing and both Mary and the other maid stepped in front of us to shield us with their bodies.

A familiar girl walked out from the portal and she surveyed her surroundings before she noticed us.

She completely ignored everyone else as her gaze immediately centered on me, her face brightening up into a smile when she did so.

"Oh my, oh my~ It's you~ Two times in one day? You really are interesting, mortal~"

Mother quickly stepped in front of me, blocking me from her sight.

"Ara, ara? Could I ask that you don't look at my little one with those eyes of yours while you're not even close to her?"

The girl's face instantly changed into one of irritation as she frowned at Mother, "Hmm? Now who might you be?"

"Ufufufu~ I am just merely the Mama of my little one~ The real question is, who might you be?"

The girl waved the hand that wasn't holding her umbrella in Mother's direction, "I'm not interested in you. Please don't talk to me."

Didn't you ask Mother who she was? Then you say you're not interested? Did she like… Lose interest in those short few seconds or something?

She then tried to look around Mother to smile at me, except her smile made her look quite crazed especially when her eyes widened and her pupils shrunk unnaturally.

"Now then, my interesting mortal~ I want to know if you are also responsible for the destruction of this place?"

I didn't get to answer her as Mother moved to block her view again, "Ara, ara? Did I say you could speak to my cutest child?"

The girl frowned again, "I am not talking to you. Could you step aside?"

Mother giggled, "Ara? What if I say no?"

The girl pointed her umbrella at Mother and a blast of wind was shot towards her.

The other maid was sent flying back while Mary braced herself and skidded back a few metres before stopping.

I was worried about the other maid but she quickly returned, though it was clear she did suffer some damage and was now sporting a slight limp.

The girl's frown deepened as she shifted her gaze to the two maids in front of Mother, almost like she had only just noticed them.

"Why are there more nobodies? Is everyone in this World suddenly tired of living already?"

Mary reached both her arms to the side and looked ready to transform herself but Mother stopped her before she could.

"It's alright, Mary. I will handle her. You as well Kisha."

Mary immediately straightened herself and bowed alongside the now named maid.

Both of them retreated behind her though they remained at my sides to guard me.

I wordlessly used [Heal] to help Kisha recover from the injuries she sustained from the blow earlier and the girl bowed to me as thanks before returning to her normal guarded pose.

Mother stepped out to confront the umbrella girl who was now looking more irritated than ever.

"If you would like to know, I am the one who erased everyone in this camp~ Ara, ara~ Could it be that they were your pets?"

The girl's eyebrow raised slightly, "You did this?"

"Ufufufu~ That's right~ Are you interested in me now?"

She ignored her question and peeked at me again, "Is that true, my interesting mortal?"

Err… Why is she still asking me?

And technically… Mother wasn't the one who destroyed the camp but she was indeed the one who 'erased' the Off-Worlders so I just went ahead to nod my head to confirm Mother's words.

The girl turned back to Mother, "Hmm… I see… That's unfortunate. I would need to find more people then."

She turned away, completely losing interest in us but Mother stopped her.

"Ara, ara? Did you think you could just come and go however you please? Ufufufu~ Now that you are here, I would need you to answer some questions~"

The girl didn't even respond to Mother and simply created another portal that she was undoubtedly planning to walk through.

But before she could, the portal suddenly winked out of existence.

The girl immediately turned to Mother and scowled, clearly indicating that she knew Mother was the one who did that.

"Ufufufu~ A rude little thing, aren't you?" Mother giggled before taking another step forward. "Seems like you have never been punished before~ No need to worry, I shall do it for you~"

The girl's eyes turned murderous, "You? Punish me? You are not in any position to do that."

"Ufufufu~ We shall see, won't we?"

With those words, Mother's figure suddenly disappeared and the umbrella girl also vanished a split second later.

"Young Mistress…" Mary called out, grabbing my arm to pull me towards her.

Before I could question what the Trasif was doing, the clearing in front of us suddenly exploded, blasting out a shockwave that blew the trees around us flying away.

Mary shielded me with her body while Kisha seemed to be focused on avoiding the blow by dodging the flying debris with incredible speed.

I was worried about Mary until I realised she had transformed her back into some kind of shield that covered us, the trees that hit her bouncing off her back without even causing her to move or leave a scratch on that shield.

Then the blast subsided, she stepped away to reveal Mother and the girl standing in the middle of a giant crater, the girl with her umbrella thrust out in front of her while Mother was doing the same but with her pinky finger, her finger tip pressed against the umbrella's point.

Seriously? You two caused that much destruction with just that?

The girl pulled back and leapt into the air, her other hand waving in front of her which seemed to cause all the blood that the Off-Worlders had spilled earlier to flow up and coagulate around her umbrella, turning it into a sword.

Oh damn… Is that a new type of magic that allows you to control blood? Or is this part of Hydromancy or maybe even Iatromancy?

The girl slashed down her umbrella sword at Mother, aiming to cleve her in two.

Mother raised her hand and I could see her nails elongating for a moment before her arm blurred and she caught the blade before it could strike her.

Another shockwave blasted out though this time it was smaller than the other one and I didn't need Mary to protect me from this as I dug in my heels to weather it.

There was a sharp cracking sound before Mother closed her hand into a fist, shattering the blood blade on the girl's umbrella and destroying it.

The girl seemed to be annoyed by this as she leapt away, her free hand waving in a circle and the crushed blood blade transformed back into liquid to fly back to her, forming themselves into orbs of blood that hovered around her.

Mother seemed content to stay where she was and watched as the girl transformed the orbs into spikes which she then launched towards Mother.

I was just thinking that compared to the previous two attacks, these blood spikes seemed quite mellow in comparison.

That was until they suddenly veered away to surround Mother and explode, turning into giant blood balls that completely erased everything they touched and leaving bigger holes in the ground.

Thankfully, we were just out of their range and thus unaffected.

When the balls dispersed, Mother still remained where she was, floating in the air from where there used to be ground and completely unbothered by the girl's earlier attack.

She then waved her hand in an arc in front of her, causing the space her hand just waved through to seem to bend into itself.

The umbrella girl froze before her figure also seemed to contort like she was being viewed through a liquid.

Then, without so much as a warning, the girl exploded.

Wow, Mother… That's pretty brutal…

Also… I just realised this… Neither of them were chanting…
