"Day drinking!!, Is this what you guys have been doing in my absence?"

Caishen at this time was glaring his friends who had managed to get him to leave his office so that they could enjoy lunch together at Si Huang Chen's family's hotel, the oriental.

Moreover Rongyan was all flushed and he looked pretty intoxicated already.

"Should he be drinking at this time?" he pointed to Rongyan.

"He is taking a one week forced vacation from the hospital. His father doesn't want their hospital to end up involved in any lawsuits because a doctor smelled like alcohol on duty." Du Fuzi explained.

Caishen glared at Rongyan who was partly crying and partly whining as he looked at pictures of his ex girlfriend.

What exactly had gone wrong? When he saw Rongyan at the hospital yesterday he looked fine.

Du Fuzi who was the closest to Rongyan pushed him over and he fell onto the sofa into a sleeping position. Their friend quickly started to snore.

"He was half a bottle in before you arrived." Si Huang Chen shared. He twisted his lips, forming a sort of gloomy look on his face. "I don't think he and Bei-Bei are getting back this time round. She posted pictures of herself and her new boyfriend."

The three looked at Rongyan pitifully.

"If two high school sweethearts can't make it then what are the odds for the rest of us building successful relationships?" Du Fuzi sighed and took a sip of champagne.

This was why his relationships had a three month time limit. Get in and out before your heart could be broken. If you got attached, you ended up like Rongyan.

"Fifty four percent of high school sweethearts divorce within the first ten years of marriage."

Rongyan suddenly woke up and sat up. All thee friends all looked at him.

"Cute, she is so cute." he slurred and fell back down on the sofa like a heavy sack of rice.

He was surely done and he would not open his eyes until the next day.

Fuzi and Huang Chen turned back to face each other and Caishen.

Fuzi shot Caishen a curious look. "How do you know the statistics you just quoted? Did you make research before or after you arrived and I mentioned this?"

Huang Chen shook his head, looking at Du Fuzi as if he was a fool.

"Have you forgotten that our friend here is the king of random facts. He has a lot of irrelevant knowledge stored in his mind because he has read many books."

Caishen was the guy who always had a book in his hands all through their days in school.

Oh, Fuzi blinked as he recalled this fact as well.

"Right, how could I forget. I blame you Caishen. You hid yourself from us for a full year that I started to forget random things about you."

Biming joined them as Fuzi was ending his statement.

"Is any of you guys going for the Ko-Qian charity benefit?" he asked as he sat down.

Fuzi nodded, he had to go because his father was going. They always attended such events for the propose of being seen.

"I will sit this year out." Si Huang Chen said.

"My wife will be performing." Caishen randomly announced.

"Oh." Biming said.

"You guys can come if you want to meet her." he added.

Biming, Fuzi and Huang Chen shared a look of mutual confusion. Was Caishen actually interested in his wife? He would not introduce them to woman if he was not.

Only one woman had met the friends, Bei-Bei because she was Rongyan's girlfriend and their classmate. Biming was single, Si Huang had a fiancé arranged by his family and Fuzi never dated anyone long enough to bring her around.

Caishen, back then had been like Si Huang with a fiancé arranged for him by his family and he never introduced her to them even once. What had changed?

"I guess I will be attending." Si Huang changed his mind.

Fuzi's mouth was still open as he processed the shock while Biming smiled secretly. Perhaps he would have good news to give elder Zhang soon.

Meanwhile, with Alix's cheat system, she and the Dark death located the lava demon pretty quickly.

It was living in one of the lava filled mountains in towards the edge of the city. The entire mountain occupied area was smoky as steam rose into the sky from boiling lava that poured into a passing stream.

It was so thick that they could not continue the journey anymore from above on the back of the ostrich.

"We should land down there, it's the closest to our destination." Dark death told her.

"Baize go down." Alix told the ostrich.

The ostrich swooped down at an incredible speed while she and Dark death held on tight.

They landed safely and Alix kept the ostrich away in her pet storage.

"I am so glad you have a flying pet. As soon as we get back I am buying a flying eagle." Dark death told her.

"You should, a flying pet is a must have if you want get around quickly. You can level it up as well, Baize flies much faster now than he did before." she told Dark death.

Dark death nodded and placed her right hand on her forehead. She looked out at the ominous lava filled mountain which loomed ahead of them.

Alix got her brand new upgraded silver flute. Even though it was just a musical flute, it could cut something apart like a brand new sharp sword if necessary.

"I will start playing something just in case the lava demon has minions. You should get into fighting mode as well. I do not want to die."

"Smart." Dark death said.

Two circular blades appeared in her hands, and the shield on her back started spinning.

"Let's go." she told Alix.

She broke into a run, racing at a very fast pace that Alix could barely see her shadow. No wonder she was an assassin, she was practically moving like wind.

Thanks to the system, she could keep as well, and she followed after Dark death.

As she run, she heard the voice of the system in her mind.

"Host, we have nine million viewers please make this one count. This time round, half of the viewers are rooting for you to survive soooo, don't die."
