Chapter 700: The End: The beginning of new happy life
Chapter 700: The End: The beginning of new happy life
"Nervous?" Ella signed with her hands as she sat behind Elliana, who sat before the mirror, dressed in her wedding gown, ready to walk the aisle with her father to marry Sebastian.
"A little," Elliana whispered.
As she gazed into her eyes, full of excitement, nervousness, and happiness, she couldn’t help but compare it to when she had become a bride around 1.5 years ago.
At that time, no one even bothered to ask her what she felt. She was nothing more than a scapegoat for her half-sister. Now that she thinks about all that, she can’t help but think that was probably the Moon Goddess’s way of giving her happiness for what she snatched away from her when she filled her life with so many problems.
"Am I supposed to feel like this? It’s not like I am marrying him for the first time," Elliana chuckled awkwardly, making Freya and Ruth laugh lightly as they entered the room to see the bride.
"Where are your parents?" Freya asked, and Elliana couldn’t help but smile at the question.
Where were her parents? They were outside, preparing themselves for her first look. Nathaniel and Prince Stephano ensured that no one would create any problems for their wedding, and her father was a nervous wreck because he had to walk her down the aisle.
And her mom? She was standing outside the balcony, telling herself she wasn’t giving away her daughter and that she wouldn’t leave anywhere or abandon her family.
Elliana shook her head at her weird but complete family.
All the witches who had been a part of her journey and had helped protect her were invited, along with her werewolf team from the moon city, the Black Angels team, and her friends from both the witch and vampire sides.
Her aunts and the rest of the family were already in the audience. How did she know all this when she had been sitting here the entire time? Because Azrael was doing the work of a spy for her and telling her everything about who was doing what.
"They are waiting for me outside," Elliana answered, and Freya and Ruth nodded in understanding.
"We just came to see you and let you know the ceremony is about to start. We shall leave already," Ruth said, quickly helping her with the dress.
Usually, a girl’s bridesmaid is supposed to help her with the dress, but they ask them to wait outside the venue.
Why? Because she didn’t have five or six bridesmaids but thirty-eight of them, she felt it was hard to choose among them, and at the end of the day, they decided to do it without them.
Elliana sat in the car with the help of her mother-in-law and Ella.
She looked at Ambrose, who smiled at her, and she couldn’t help but smile back.
"Why are you here? You should’ve stayed with him," she said.
"Our King has many people with him. Besides, I wanted to drive our future queen to the venue," Ambrose said, using the designation without even being appointed. Elliana blushed, her hands turning a little sweaty.
Once out of the car, she immediately spotted her father wiping sweat from his forehead, even when the weather was perfect.
She lifted her finger slightly, and a slight wind started to flow towards him, making him look up at her.
His eyes brimmed with tears, which he quickly blinked away.
"How do I look, Dad?" Elliana asked as she carried the bouquet in her hands.
"You look like the most beautiful bride in the world, the most beautiful and talented daughter. And more than that, you look like someone we witches would happily bow down to," Eros praised his daughter, who blushed before smiling at him as they stood at the aisle entrance.
She looked at the large crowd seated on both sides, who immediately turned their heads at her.
Elliana took a deep breath and looked at the back of her future husband, who was standing with his back facing her according to the custom.
They started to walk ahead slowly, the people sitting in the side rows showering them with light petals while the big screens displayed her entrance and close view for people sitting far away. It was the biggest and most prestigious wedding of all time, and naturally, the arrangements were up to the mark.
Elliana reached the end of the aisle, and the priest asked Sebastian to turn around and take her hand from her father’s.
As soon as Sebastian looked at his wife, he froze for a second.
Looking at her feet, Elliana felt a sense of deja vu hit her as her gaze landed on his shoes first, traveling up to his tuxedo, his extended, soft, muscular hand to his neck, his lips, and then into his eyes.
It was like the first time she had seen him, except he was wearing a mask at that time.
"My love," Sebastian said with a deep, shaky breath, making Abramo place his hand on his grandson. Everyone looked at his delighted and whipped look, smiling at the love he showed openly towards his woman. He wasn’t afraid to let the world know he was ready to get on his knees for her.
Sebastian looked at Eros, who placed Elliana’s hand in his, and Elliana felt her heart skip a beat when Sebastian stepped down to help her with the dress. He led her upstairs, where the priest was waiting for them to complete the ceremony.
He said many things, describing love and everything, but Sebastian and Elliana weren’t interested in any of that. They kept looking into each other’s eyes. There was a moment when Sebastian stepped ahead and cupped her chin, rubbing her bottom lips softly, and the priest had to clear his throat to gain his attention, making everyone chuckle at the couple.
Elliana blushed scarlet red while Sebastian stood there without shame, looking at his wife with all the love in the world.
"Do you accept the vampire King, Sebastian Marino Canine, as your rightful husband, the partner of your happiness and sadness, and promise to stay with him through thick and thin?" the priest asked Elliana, and she smiled at him.
"I do," She said, making Sebastian breathe in relief.
"Do you take the rightful heiress of the dark witch kingdom, Elliana Minerva, the beholder of the divine powers of being the chosen one by the moon goddess herself to reunite the species and end the differences-"
"Can we cut the introduction short? I already know everything about her," Sebastian said. Everyone in the crowd laughed at his choice of words, though the man himself didn’t find it funny.
What was wrong with him urging the priest to finish this as quickly as possible? He was here to marry her, not to know more about her. He already knew more than enough about her.
Sebastian scowled, his beast becoming a little angry as they wanted to label Elliana as their wife already and kiss the hell out of her.
Seeing her husband getting a little anxious and restless, Elliana held his hand in hers, making the man look into her eyes immediately before he sighed and smiled at her.
He nodded at her to let her know he was much calmer, and Elliana smiled before nodding at the priest.
"Do you take the witch princess, Elliana Minnerva as your wife?" the priest said.
"I do," Sebastian said, and Elliana smiled at him.
How things changed between them drastically. He was the one person she thought would kill her if she did something wrong, and she needed to be out as quickly as possible when she married him for the first time. For him, she was everything he ever hated because of his past. However, who would’ve thought their stars would bring them together like this?
"I love you," Sebastian said before snaking his hand around her waist and pulling her close.
"You may kiss the bride," The priest announced.
Sebastian held her hand, kissing the back of it.
"I love you to the moon and back," he whispered before he cupped her cheeks and kissed her lips.
Elliana closed her eyes instinctively as everyone started to cheer for them, making both of them smile.
Tears brimmed her eyes. It was finally happening. They were finally together legally and with the involvement of their entire family.
"Since you are my wife, I should be the first one to give you something," Sebastian whispered. He pressed his forehead on hers while mind-linking Lucas to bring what he had prepared for her.
It wasn’t long before his sister Ella appeared with their ancient platter, which had the queen’s throne on top of it.
Sebastian grabbed the crown and looked at the crowd, surprising everyone. Only the ladies of his family and Abramo knew about it; thus, it was definitely shocking for everyone. They thought they would have a different crowning ceremony for her.
Sebastian turned to Elliana before he bent and kissed her forehead.
"I place this crown on your feet, my love. Allow me to have you by my side as we rule the nation together," Sebastian whispered.
Elliana smiled. She couldn’t believe he was using those kinds of words in front of the entire family. Even when they were husband and wife again, he asked for her permission for such a thing, which filled her with joy. His respect for her was impeccable, and it was probably the reason their love had started to bloom in the first place.
If he hadn’t treated her like a human, like his wife, she wouldn’t have fallen for him. However, even when he didn’t know the truth and only knew she was the daughter of that bloodline who took his mother’s life, he never stopped respecting her.
Elliana nodded at her husband, having no words at the moment.
Sebastian smiled and removed the crown of the princess of the witch kingdom from Elliana’s head before he placed it on her head, causing her to close her eyes momentarily.
"Queen Elliana Minnerva, you all!" he announced, and Elliana blinked back her tears as she saw how happy her husband was.
Everyone cheered for them as they hugged their parents individually while taking their gifts and congratulations.
"Can we escape this?" Sebastian asked, and Elliana looked at him with wide eyes.
Was he being for real? This arrangement and party were all for them. What would it look like if they would leave?
"I want to show you our dream house—the house I used to talk about. Do you remember it?" Sebastian asked, and Elliana nodded.
It was amazing and shocking for Sebastian, too. Even when he didn’t remember anything about their past, his subconscious mind had always urged him to build that farmhouse with vast fields. He had that house built just like how Elliana loved without even realizing it.
Elliana remembered his dream. The dream was to live outside the city in their lake house, where they would handle everything and enjoy life with their kids and lots of love while enjoying nature.
She took a deep breath and was about to tell him they would go to that place later when she looked at him, who was looking at someone behind him.
She turned around to see who he was looking at, and one look into her aunt Azreal’s eyes made her raise something that was cooking between them. Before she could ask what was going on, she felt herself being teleported, and before she could protest, she was standing before a beautiful farmhouse.
The scent of water made her realize that Sebastian deliberately had it made near a lake, knowing her love for them. Tears brimmed her eyes as her hand reached her face to cover her mouth. She was shocked at his thoughtfulness.
"The moon is beautiful, isn’t it?" Elliana found a more romantic way to tell him she loved him eternally before taking a deep breath.
She turned to look at her husband, who was already on his knees for her, and couldn’t help but sigh. She didn’t know if she was ready for any other surprise.
However, rather than surprising her this time, Sebastian pulled out what looked like a drawing book. Her brows furrowed as she looked at it in confusion.
"What is this?" She asked, and Sebastian turned a couple of pages.
Elliana looked at the drawing she had made when she had recently arrived at the Black Skull palace. In the drawing, she had her hands extended towards him, while Sebastian’s lonely back could be seen as they gazed at a lake.
"Can you change it to me looking at you too?" Sebastian asked, and Elliana chuckled through tears at his childish but loving behavior.
She held his index finger and placed it in the middle of the paper before changing the drawing to show them looking at the lake together, her head placed on his shoulders as they sat on a stone.
"And kids?" Sebastian asked, making Elliana chuckle.
Feeling mischievous at his choice of words, she added ten kids, and Sebastian widened his eyes at her.
"I have no problem doing the work, but will you be able to handle it?" He asked, and Elliana blushed.
"Shut up," She whispered, feeling shy.
"It looks like a lot of work, and I am a man who believes in doing the important work first. Let’s start with it already," Sebastian picked her up in his arms, making her squeal as he took her inside for their first night after the wedding.
"You are the best accident of my life. I will always be grateful to the human kingdom for letting me be the accidental bride of this masked prince." Elliana smiled into his kiss as he placed her on the bed.
"That was the best moment of my life," he whispered before kissing her forehead as they got lost in each other’s love.
