The Masked Vampire King's Accidental Bride

Chapter 699: Wedding gown

Chapter 699: Wedding gown

After a couple of days~~~~~

"I don’t want it, Eros. Am I being too selfish?" Azura asked, stomping her foot like a kid in front of her family as they sat around the dining table.

They were discussing how Sebastian wanted Elliana to return to him. For that, he had already proposed a marriage between them—a real marriage with her real identity and people from all the species involved.

"Mom, why are you acting like I am going somewhere? We are witches, for heaven’s sake. You can just click your fingers and talk to me whenever we want," Elliana said.

Azura looked at her daughter helplessly. Though what Elliana was saying was true, too, it was different. Staying under the same roof and teleporting repeatedly to talk to her were two different things.

Azura looked at Eros, who didn’t say anything. He wanted their daughter, who had just gained her memories a couple of days ago, to stay with them, but at the same time, he knew her heart was with Sebastian. And why not? The two of them made many sacrifices and proved to the world that love always wins over hatred. When two people are in pure, equal, obsessive, and respectful love, even the heavens must bend their rules for them.

"Mom, I want to," Elliana held her mother’s hand, squeezing it softly to let her know what her heart wanted.

When Azura saw the genuine yearning on her daughter’s face, she couldn’t help but smile.

"I know, baby. Sooner or later, you will leave us either way. I apologize for acting that way, but my mother’s heart..." She sighed before looking at Nathaniel.

"Fine. We agree to the marriage proposal, and that evil, cunning, manipulative man can take my daughter away," Azura said.

"Mom," Elliana looked at her mom helplessly, who sighed again.

"Fine. Sebastian can marry my daughter and take her with him," Azura corrected her words, making everyone chuckle at her words.

Once Elliana and the others were done eating, she stood from her place and walked out, followed by Nathaniel.

"Are you sure you don’t feel any uneasiness in your body? Are your powers working fine?" He asked, and Elliana nodded at him.

"Everything is fine, brother. Stop fretting over it," She said before looking into the distance.

Her memories and her powers were back. She remembered everything from the past, just like Sebastian, and because of that, everyone’s memories were finally back as the ritual was lifted from over them.

The first thing she did after she sat in Sebastian’s embrace and let everyone express their happiness was seeing her team. They were doing okay, and the fact that they didn’t fall out made her smile.

Glow was the happiest. Wait. She wasn’t Glow. She was Ella. Elliana sighed, remembering Misha’s words.

When she asked Misha about the sacrifice because she was sure something needed to be sacrificed along with it, she went silent, and Elliana didn’t have a good feeling about it.

"What are you thinking about?" Nathaniel asked when he looked at her deep in thought.

Elliana shook her head. She didn’t want to spread her sadness to them. She was about to turn and leave when Nathaniel grabbed her shoulders and forced her to look at him.

"Do you think you can leave without telling me?" Nathaniel asked, and Elliana looked down at her feet.

"Don’t you think I would make a bad mother?" Elliana asked.

Nathaniel was surprised by her choice of words. It was completely off-topic. Why would she think something like that?

"What makes you think that? You will be an awesome mother. You always spread love and unite people. With a heart of gold, how can you say that?" Nathaniel asked his expression concerned as he looked at the tears in her eyes.

"I don’t think so. Look at what happened. I didn’t even know I was pregnant when I went to the war, and our unborn child was sacrificed in the ritual," Elliana whispered.

Nathaniel sighed and pulled her in his arms, letting her rest her head on his chest.

"Why would you think of things like that? Why are you only thinking about the negative aspects and blaming yourself? Didn’t you hear Misha? She had deliberately put that ritual spell to hide your pregnancy from the world and yourself because she had an intuition that something bad would happen and they would naturally need a sacrifice?" Nathaniel asked.

His words, rather than comforting Elliana, made her more emotional.

"Don’t you find it strange? Who is she to decide whether I want to sacrifice my child or not?" Elliana asked.

Nathaniel sighed.

"In that case, would you have not sacrificed your life for Sebastian and let him die if you knew you were pregnant?" Nathaniel asked.

Eliana froze in her place. Would she have not saved him?

"Of course, I would’ve saved him, but -" Elliana paused.

She didn’t have any excuse for her concerns. She was only two months pregnant at that time, and no spell in the world could deliver her baby at this kind of prematurity and sacrifice her.

"But nothing, Cara. It wasn’t your fault. And I won’t allow you to think like that either," Sebastian’s words echoed, and Elliana turned to look at him.

He looked as dashing as ever, and Lucas was standing behind him.

"Lucas," Elliana gritted the subordinate first, and a scowl immediately appeared on Sebastian’s face, his aura darkening.

Lucas—"..." Princess, can you please stop teasing me between your teasing of the KIng? Every Time you do this, I have to work extra hard as punishment. Lucas wanted to complain but let it go and smiled helplessly at his fate.

"Cara," Sebastian stepped ahead and held her hand before kissing the back of it.

"We have talked about this before, too, haven’t we? You weren’t at fault at that time," Sebastian cupped her cheeks before kissing her forehead, and the girl sighed and nodded at him.

He could see that though she was nodding, she was pretty shaken up and sad about it. He didn’t want her to keep thinking about the negative things. Instead, he wanted her to think about the bright, happy future they were going to have.

"Are you ready to go on your wedding dress shopping?" he asked to distract her, and a blush appeared on Elliana’s face.

"How can you be so sure about it? My mother hasn’t agreed to the wedding yet," Elliana said.

Sebastian smiled. He grabbed her chin between his thumb and index finger before averting his gaze back to her hazel eyes, which were full of affection for him.

"The wedding is going to happen in two days, Cara. Either your parents agree to it, or I have other ways to get what belongs to me," he said, Elliana’s heart skipping a beat.

How much she had missed seeing his possessiveness and obsession with her. She sighed inwardly.

"We don’t have to go shopping for it. I can always use my magic to–"

"I want to do it. Choose the gown for my beautiful bride, along with the dress for the reception and the lingerie for the night," Sebastian said. Elliana’s pupils dilated at his shamelessness while Nathaniel and Lucas looked away, coughing awkwardly.

Not wanting to face her brother after Sebastian said something like that, Elliana immediately used her magic to teleport them to the vampire kingdom.

As soon as they reached the kingdom and entered the forest, Elliana glared at the man before scowling. She didn’t want anyone to suspect them or become wary of their sudden appearance.

"Seriously?" She asked.

Sebastian only shrugged at her with a smirk.

"It’s not like I was lying," He said, and Elliana shook her head at him.

After some time, they met with Ella and the other ladies of the family, who were equally excited about shopping for the perfect gown for Elliaa.

They had nearly thrown 25 gowns before her and asked her to try each.

It was good that she was a witch and could aid the change with her magic; otherwise, she would’ve gotten tired.

After rejecting nearly 30 gowns, the ladies finally agreed to one gown that looked impeccable on her. Sebastian nodded in agreement at their choice. He knew what they were trying to do, and he couldn’t help but chuckle at their sneakiness.

"Now that the wedding gown is finalized, shall we eat something? I am famished," Elliana said, and Freya was the first to chuckle.

"I knew our Elliana was going to talk about food first, and that was why I had already asked Noah to call the chef of Gavlin’s Restaurant to prepare all of your favorite food. Let’s wrap things here and go there to dine," Freya said. Ellina immediately hugged her, calling her a savior.

Seeing her extra affection for Freya, Ruth scowled and looked around helplessly. She wanted to be Elliana’s favorite. She was like the girl at first sight, and jealousy coursed through her. However, she didn’t say anything. She was sure the gift she prepared would be the best.

Ella brought a glass of cold coffee with extra chocolate syrup, and Elliana swooned at the sight, making everyone chuckle.

"I seriously can’t wait for her to be pregnant. Only the moon goddess knows how much we are going to love feeding her," Carla said, and everyone nodded in unison because they knew that would happen.

Elliana, who was busy drinking coffee at some distance, didn’t hear them, but Sebastian did. He looked at his mate, his future wife, the love of his life, and couldn’t help but smile at the idea of seeing her pregnant. He couldn’t wait to have their child, but of course, he would mention it once she was ready for the child and asked him for it.

He won’t be pressuring her into anything. However, he wanted to see her goofy and pregnant.

Shaking his head at his own thoughts, he just wished for these two days to be over as soon as possible so he could bring her back to his kingdom and live happily with her.

The problems would persist. It was the law of nature that everyone was bound to experience ups and downs in life, but he wanted to go through them with his wife by his side.

"Sebastian, after having this meal, can you take me to the Moon City?" Elliana said, and Sebastian smiled.

This was another good thing that happened.

Though he liked the sound of Mr. Marino from her mouth and had made this name exclusive to her, allowing no one to call him that; she was now getting more comfortable taking his name, which felt good.

"Sure thing, wifey," Sebastian said, making Elliana blush while everyone chuckled at her.
