Seven Sins System Chapter 402. Don't Blame Me For Your Ambiguity

Not only that, the chaos was just getting started. The mosquito-shaped tentacles suddenly morphed into a monstrous black wolf-like demon. The demonic wolf wasted no time in springing into action.

Without hesitation, the demonic wolf pounced, its massive form crashing through with a deafening roar.

The room erupted into chaos as the magic formation inside the chamber shattered, the sound of splintering wood and crumbling stone echoing off the walls. Like a tempest unleashed, the demonic wolf tore through the room.

"Demonic Claw…" I hissed through clenched teeth. My smirk widened into a sinister grin. I felt the familiar tingling sensation of my aura enveloping my hands, hardening like armor to protect me in the coming battle. My nails elongated and thickened, transforming into razor-sharp claws ready to rend flesh and spill blood.

"You surely have a thick nerve to pretend to be me for a long time, huh?" I growled. My claws twitched with anticipation, eager to sink into his flesh and extract the truth from his very soul.

But just as I prepared to strike, a figure materialized at my side. It was Puriel, her form glowing with an otherworldly light as her white wings unfurled behind her. She caught my wrist.

I shot her a displeased look. "You better give me a good reason for this," I snapped, my patience worn thin.

Yet, despite my frustration, she met my gaze with an unwavering determination. "I will give you two reasons," she countered, her tone challenging as she held my gaze steady. "First, we need the information in his head. This place isn't the only one, right? And second, if you kill him, you will violate the agreement."

My jaw clenched in annoyance.

"He has created chaos and posed as me!" I half-shouted as I gritted my teeth in annoyance. My eyes widened with a mix of anger and disbelief, unable to comprehend how she could stand there and defend him after everything he had done.

I made to pull my hand free from her grasp, but she held firm, her grip like iron around my wrist.

"A deal is a deal, Azrael," she warned, her voice stern and unwavering. "I can't do anything about this either."

I hated to admit it, but she was right. No amount of pleading or bargaining could change the terms of that damn agreement, binding us to a course of action that left a bitter taste in my mouth.

I turned my gaze toward that pathetic mortal, his bravado evaporating into thin air. His body trembled uncontrollably. "You..." I hissed through clenched teeth, my voice dripping with venomous fury. "I will make sure you pay for what you have done. I will cast you into the deepest pits of hell and ensure your suffering knows no end."

I could see the terror in his eyes.

With a swift motion, I dispelled the dark energy that had coated my hands, allowing them to return to their normal state. I flexed my fingers, leaving the lingering taste of bitter satisfaction.

I wanted to pull my hand free from her grasp, but before I could, she released her grip as if burned by my touch.

"Now release his hand," Puriel stated. She was referring to my tentacle which still bit the mortal's hand.

But instead of obeying her command, a dark smirk twisted my lips. I leaned in closer to the trembling mortal. Without hesitation, the mouth on my tentacle snapped shut, severing his arm from his body with a sickening crunch.

The mortal's scream pierced the air. I watched with satisfaction as he writhed in pain, his blood staining the floor as he clutched at the stump where his arm once was.

His pained expression brought a twisted grin to my lips, his suffering filling me with a sense of satisfaction. The mouth on my tentacle continued its gruesome task, gnashing on the mangled remains of his hand with a sickening crunch.

"Azrael!" Puriel's voice cut through the air.

I couldn't help but smirk in response. "You want me to release his hand. I released his hand," I replied, my voice dripping with sarcasm. I met her gaze with a defiant challenge.

Puriel's brow furrowed in frustration. "From your tentacle, not from his body," she clarified.

I scoffed at her explanation and dismissed her words with a wave of my hand. "Don't blame me for your ambiguity," I retorted.

She took a deep breath before she moved to approach the wounded mortal. I could see the determination in her eyes. I knew she wanted to cure him.

But before she could take another step, I reached out and grabbed her hand, halting her in her tracks. She turned to me, her displeasure evident.

"No," I interjected before she could voice her complaint.
