Chapter 23 - 23 23 Do You Like Being Led So Much
Chapter 23: Chapter 23 Do You Like Being Led So Much? Chapter 23: Chapter 23 Do You Like Being Led So Much? With the click of a locking door, Lin Zhiyi knew without turning around who was approaching as the tea canister in her hand fell to the ground and rolled away.
After rolling for a bit, the canister finally stopped before a pair of men’s leather shoes.
Lin Zhiyi hastily tried to pick it up, but a pair of hands from behind caressed her waist. They were like cold, poisonous snakes, wrapping tighter and tighter.
Eventually, he trapped her in front of the tea table, and his scorching breath spread from the top of her head to her ear slowly, throwing her breathing into disarray.
His lips brushed against her ear, his voice restrained with a trace of amusement,
“Do you enjoy being led by others?”
His breath, like feathers, tickled Lin Zhiyi’s ears.
She desperately wanted to escape, but the slightest movement resulted in an even more intimidating presence pressing down behind her.
The breath surrounding Lin Zhiyi from behind was so intense she could feel the heat of his chest through her blouse.
Still unable to prevent her earlobes from blushing.
The man behind her watched her restrained and shy demeanor, his dark pupils dense as the night, quietly observing her, while the hand on her waist gently caressed.
Lin Zhiyi’s body trembled, and she struggled in a low voice, “Uncle, this is the Gong Family!”
“So what?”
“Let me go, what if someone sees us?” Lin Zhiyi grabbed his restless hand.
The person behind her stopped moving.
Just when Lin Zhiyi thought he might spare her, she was suddenly lifted and placed on the tea table.
She managed to restrain herself from crying out.
Now face to face, the sight of the man in front of her made Lin Zhiyi clench her teeth.
Gong Chen possessed an aloof and dangerous facade, his eyes cold as winter night stars, always so merciless and indifferent in his gaze.
Lin Zhiyi, under his watch, felt rising animosity and… aggrievement.
She was already trying to avoid him, why wouldn’t he leave her be?
Gong Chen leaned over, looking straight at her, his voice low and magnetic, “Now you’re targeting Gong Yan?”
“Uncle, who I target has nothing to do with you,” Lin Zhiyi said defiantly, holding her breath.
He fell silent for a moment and hmphed softly, then suddenly seized her chin and lifted it.
“Nothing to do with me?”
“Yes… Mmph.”
Lin Zhiyi’s words were cut short as he pressed his lips fiercely against hers, grinding insistently.
In that moment, the surroundings fell silent.
The room filled with the scent of tea became a place of sensuality, the soft sounds of panting leaving no room for resistance.
Lin Zhiyi’s lips and tongue were entangled without mercy, her struggling arms were pressed down on the tea table, and the remaining tea water splashed over their clasped hands, becoming wet and sticky.
Much like the atmosphere around them.
Lin Zhiyi felt like she couldn’t breathe, her strength to struggle waning.
Yet despite this, Gong Chen remained domineering until a shameful sound escaped from between her lips, and only then did he stop his invasive actions.
He looked down at her, his voice hoarse, “Is this the sound of it being nothing to do with me?”
Lin Zhiyi was extremely embarrassed, and she seized the opportunity to grab a teacup and splash its contents at Gong Chen.
He seemed to anticipate this, but he didn’t dodge, his expressionless face watching himself getting stained with tea.
“I am not your plaything! Let go of me!”
Gong Chen flicked the water droplets away, his fingers pinching Lin Zhiyi’s waist as he raised an eyebrow, “Whose plaything acts out as much as you do? Always hitting or biting, and now throwing water.”
“Let go!”
Lin Zhiyi angrily gazed at her waist, where her struggle had caused her blouse to roll up, revealing a large area of her waist and abdomen.
And Gong Chen’s palm was pressed right there.
Although she didn’t want to admit it, her skin was indeed sensitive in that area.
A touch would make her feel as if electricity had passed through her entire body, causing uncontrollable trembling.
As Gong Chen noticed this, his gaze deepened, he leaned in slightly closer, the tea water from his collar dripping onto her abdomen.
Lin Zhiyi trembled even more noticeably.
Dark desire swirled in Gong Chen’s eyes as he looked straight at Lin Zhiyi, his deep-set eyes blatantly revealing his own lust.
“Just as sensitive as that night,” he teased, his expression laced with a hint of evil charm.
“No!” Lin Zhiyi retorted.
“Is that so? You didn’t say that that night.”
He chuckled softly, his thumb adorned with a thumb ring grazing the droplet on Lin Zhiyi’s abdomen. The smooth jade held a peculiar warmth that was both comforting and strange.
Lin Zhiyi’s abdomen tightened and she let out a soft gasp, her remaining tune once again cut off by Gong Chen.
“Mmm…”
Gong Chen had gone mad!
If anyone from the Gong Family discovered them, she’d be dead!
Yet Lin Zhiyi was no match for him; he effortlessly lifted her and sealed her lips with his.
Suddenly, there was a knock at the door.
“Zhiyi, are you in there?”
It was Gong Yan.
Lin Zhiyi’s whole body stiffened.
But Gong Chen just narrowed his eyes and, still holding her, walked to the door.
Frightened, Lin Zhiyi could only cling to him tightly, terrified of what he might do.
Yet he kissed her more fiercely, his hands moving over her skin with reckless abandon.
And Gong Yan was just beyond the door!
Lin Zhiyi felt humiliated and helpless, yet she had to beg Gong Chen with her eyes to stop.
Gong Yan continued to knock. “Zhiyi, what’s wrong? Why is the door locked? Is something wrong?”
If the knocking went on like this, it would surely alert others.
In her panic, Lin Zhiyi grasped Gong Chen’s collar desperately.
Only when Gong Yan was about to call for help did Gong Chen let go of her, whispering in her ear, “I’ll let you off the hook this time.”
Lin Zhiyi quickly got down from him, picked up the tea leaves from the floor, took a deep breath, and opened the door.
“Big brother! I’m alright, I just accidentally locked the door when I went in.”
“Why didn’t you say anything?” Gong Yan asked with concern.
“I… I was standing on a ladder reaching for something and didn’t dare to get distracted; I came down and opened the door right away,” Lin Zhiyi explained with pursed lips.
Gong Yan nodded, noting her flushed cheeks with worry. “Why is your face so red? Are you feeling unwell?”
Lin Zhiyi shook her head. “I was just a bit rushed coming over.”
“No need to rush. As long as you’re okay, let’s go, I’ll join you for some tea.”
“Okay.”
As she stepped out of the tea room, Lin Zhiyi glanced to the side.
Gong Chen was leaning against the wall, rotating his thumb ring, looking both lazy and dangerous.
Not daring to linger, Lin Zhiyi closed the door firmly behind her and left.
Taking advantage of the time brewing tea in the kitchen, she stood in the backyard for a while to cool off.
Gong Yan passed her a plate of fruit cut by the servants.
“Why so preoccupied?”
“Nothing.”
Lin Zhiyi took a cherry and popped it into her mouth, but the crisp and sweet flavor was tainted with someone else’s breath, causing her to lose her appetite instantly.
Concerned for her, Gong Yan reminded her of those terrible rumors, making her worry even more.
With caution, Lin Zhiyi asked, “Big brother, do you and Uncle have any issues between you?”
“Uncle is now the head of the household. He’s decisive in his dealings but treats our family fairly well. Why do you ask?”
“Just curious, he always seems to send you abroad.”
“It’s just training. If I were as capable as him, I wouldn’t need to train for so long,” Gong Yan said jokingly.
Lin Zhiyi found it difficult to continue.
When she heard the water was ready, she laid down the fruit and went to make tea, with Gong Yan’s gaze following her every move.
What do you think?
