Chapter 567 567: An Illusionist
Dean Becker was shocked to hear it.
'How the hell does that bastard know the name of my ability?' he wondered.
But then he quickly shook his head.
"Bastard, you dare to insult my glorious skill? I'll show you what an Attack Illusionist is capable of, damn you!" He was so angry that he couldn't control his power and shot forward.
Even so, suddenly, his vision darkened, and a hand grabbed his head.
"I'll teach you a little bit about why Attack Illusionists are useless in a battle without a powerful real attacker or a tank." Matthew smiled and took Dean until he hit him fiercely against the building, making him tremble from the force of the impact.
Dean didn't manage to dodge the attack, but being an illusionist, for a moment, he tricked Matthew into letting go of his grip. Matt wasn't an idiot and was well aware of that skill.
Just when he thought he had escaped, Matthew's sinister and dangerous eyes caught him before a fist struck his body ferociously. A stream of blood spurted from his mouth as he flew across the room until he crashed into one of the nearby mountains.
'The weakness of every Illusionist of Attack is always to be seen attacked before their illusions take effect. It is the greatest weakness of the Illusory Claw, although its real capacity can be scary.'
He moved so fast that Dean didn't have time to get up before being kicked in the stomach and sent back to where he was before.
But Matthew couldn't just do that and leave it at that; he needed to be ferocious in this deadly attack. He wanted to beat him up in revenge before taking away his abilities. So he followed him closely and punched him in the stomach.
His blow seemed to destroy the stage beneath him, raising a pile of debris that somehow remained floating in the air.
'Oh...'
Suddenly, all the rubble he had lifted began hitting him as if they wanted to form a huge rock again.
There was more rubble everywhere that flew towards him as if it were some gravitational anomaly that attracted the mass towards him. In just a moment, he was transformed into a mass of extremely resistant rocks, which made it impossible for him to move.
Conrad smiled coldly. "You're going to die, you bastard!" He growled and prepared for his most powerful sword attack.
At the same time, Dean, who managed to be saved by Conrad at the end, got up and moved his claw towards Matthew from a distance.
His energy was transformed into powerful red whips that moved across the earth until they reached that mass of rocks and debris.
"DIE, BASTARD!"
Dean's disheveled appearance and destroyed face made him look terrifying, but the wave of powerful attacks that came next did not seem to have come from a weakened man.
They were deadly meteorite attacks, and even if they did not kill through their illusory power, which was highly dangerous for the mind, they could kill by piercing the body because, after all, they were pure energy.
It was the first time he had launched such a powerful attack, so even he was surprised, but having been so easily overcome by Matthew a moment before, it needed to be like that. Decisive and ruthless.
He wouldn't hesitate in the face of an enemy that made his blood boil because he realized it was too dangerous.
When he was attacking him, he didn't even see his trail. The wave of attacks was so brutal that he could only react unconsciously, but it was still no use, and he found himself being saved by a little heir. That made him even more angry, so he attacked with more power.
The attacks soon began to hit the huge rock, and at one point, it was pierced from one side to the other, splitting it in half.
Dean sighed visibly when he realized that his skill had indeed hit the guy's body. The impact was transmitted to him; he was completely sure Matthew was dead.
Conrad was still nervous, perhaps because of the impact he had suffered from being ignored by someone younger than him, who had only been on the scene for such a short time but had far outgrown him, even though they had recently had a battle.
Due to a strange fear, he did not deactivate his Vampiric Mark; he wanted to verify that everything was in order.
But Dean did relax earlier.
"He's dead... We'll have a big reward when we get back." He smiled and stepped forward to pat Conrad on the shoulder in gratitude for saving him.
But just then, his feet stopped dead in his tracks when someone else appeared between them, and it was he who tapped Conrad on the shoulder.
The latter hadn't even noticed.
"You... Impossible. How can you withstand such an attack?" Dean took several steps back out of fear, which caused Matthew to smile.
"Resist? Do you really think you're worthy of hitting my body with that rubbish of an attack?" Matthew then raised his other hand and snapped his fingers.
It was then that the previously formed rock showed what had happened. It hadn't been pierced in the middle, in fact, it hadn't even been broken. It was whole because their previous attack wasn't hitting the place they both wanted to.
That made Dean and Conrad tremble.
"You... You're an Illusionist..."
Dean's body suddenly contracted, and his trembling was evident, but from one moment to the next, he found himself floating in the air.
Matthew's dangerous eyes looked at him.
"Leader Becker, I know you're listening to this. It's amazing that you plant this type of seed even in your children, but seeing the kind of scum you are, it doesn't surprise me either." He smiled coldly, looking into Dean's eyes, which were doubtful.
Even so, he was not looking at him but at the depth of his eyes. A strange seed was growing inside a vampire, in his blood. This seed was to control him; he was connected to a more powerful being, Leader Becker.
"Even so, I must tell you one thing: You have chosen the wrong side."
"Go find somewhere to take refuge because a being that was feared 10 million years ago will come after you. Whether you have my blood or have inherited my abilities, I am going to destroy you in the worst way you can imagine."
Matthew smiled coldly as he said this and lifted Conrad with his other hand. "I'll give you a demonstration of who I am. I'm not afraid of you looking into my secrets because what can you do?"
What do you think?
