Progenitor Vampire: I Have Many Skills!

Chapter 566 566: Two Heirs

The surrounding energy seemed to hit an enormous wall and then be deflected to the ground, which cracked slightly when these three faced off.

Even so, it didn't seem like an even battle. It looked uneven, and no one could figure out which way it was going.

On one side was a world-famous man who had made an incredible name for himself in the few years he'd been active. Nobody knew his name until a few years ago, but suddenly, he appeared and wreaked havoc.

Matthew Dietrich, the Lord of the Dark Kingdom, who has incredible status in the five Kingdoms and who is also the next Leader of the Allen Clan.

The biggest enigma about him is his surname, although many believe it is a coincidence at this point.

On the other hand, there were two world-famous heirs, the second heir of the Wagners, Conrad Wagner, The Vision Breaker, and the even more famous Dean Becker, Head Heir of the Becker Clan.

Dean Becker doesn't usually show himself; he does few things to attract attention, always keeping himself hidden behind. But that doesn't mean he isn't very famous, being the Head Heir of one of the Vampire Clans.

Matthew looked at them, and he could understand their powers as soon as they got out.

'This guy has gotten a lot stronger since last time. It seems like the humiliation gave him a boost. Too bad you're still opposed to me; I find your ability useless in many ways, so I could leave it to you if you weren't an idiot.'

After looking at Conrad, he stared at Dean.

'Approximately 120,000 of vampiric power.' He frowned.

Dean was not even supposed to be in the Top 5 of the 14 Heirs. In fact, he was right at number 7, behind Cecily, who was in first place, Charles in 2nd place, Jack in 3rd, Wilfred Murphy in 4th, Liam Wagner in 5th, and the 2nd Heir of the Relish in 6th.

Although he was only in seventh place, it was amazing that he had 120,000 power. He wondered what Cecily and Charles's real strength was, as they were both supposed to be a step above Jack himself.

Concerning Jack... He still doesn't know his real power, but he knows that since he met him he has been showing less power than he has, but as he is not an enemy, he doesn't need to pay him much attention.

"Matthew Dietrich, a person with a long history of confrontations with my Clan. Rumor has it that they started even before your existence was known. Is that true? According to my father, you have killed a younger brother before," said Dean.

"Well, we've certainly had a lot of encounters over time. I wish it didn't have to be this way, but I guess it had to be."

"Had to be?"

"Yes, after all, I needed a good excuse to start dismantling a traitorous clan. That way, I can make the rest of the race feel good, you see? Sometimes it's tough being a leader."

Dean frowned at his mockery, but he, too, proceeded to mock.

"Well, I saw you fight on transmission before; I hope you're worthy of what I saw then."

Matthew wasn't interested in continuing the conversation, even less so because he couldn't.

Just as he was about to speak, he was forced to raise a hand to block a blow from Conrad.

"Bastard, you dare to ignore me? Do you think only Mr. Dean is worthy of fighting you?" Conrad asked coldly.

Matthew smiled and raised his head slightly.

"No. Neither of you is worthy."

His words hit them both hard, but they couldn't react before Matthew grabbed Conrad by the head and smashed him to the ground.

"Even though you've gotten stronger, you're still a piece of paper like last time. Do you think you're worthy of this measly power? Hehe, you're unworthy of wielding my abilities, so say goodbye to them."

He squeezed this bastard's head tightly, but his fingers hit his palm when the guy managed to slip out of his grip, breaking the ground beneath them both.

"Oh, pretty good."

Conrad shook his head and summoned his sword immediately. "It's powerful," he said as it fell to Dean Becker's side.

Dean sneered and took a step forward.

"110,000 power, huh? To have that much power, you're really arrogant."

"Haha, he who lets himself be carried away by numbers ends up dead quickly. So I hope you're careful; I still have to enjoy the fight to feel good now that I've started moving."

"Hmph, just a piece of trash who thinks he's powerful. Well, since you're so talented, I'll show off my core skill for the first time in years. I hope you can at least take a few hits."

Immediately, strange weapons created specifically to be used with the Vampire Claws appeared in Dean's hands. His aura increased dramatically, and he shot out from where he was, reaching Matthew in an instant.

He tried to drive those strange Vampire Claws into Matt's chest, but Matt managed to dodge the attack at the last moment.

'He's fast.'

He tried to step aside but suddenly saw that Dean's weapon seemed to transform into huge, amazing whips that wanted to pierce him. These whips were created with a strange reddish energy from his vampire claws.

Matthew jumped quickly to the sides, avoiding the places where those whips would fall, and frowned.

'This ability... I see, so Dean Becker is an illusionist.' While dodging the attacks of that whip, he knew that Dean would attack him from another place because he knew his abilities perfectly.

This type of ability was not a direct attack but rather a kind of illusory attack. And he couldn't let himself be hit by that whip because then he would receive a tremendous mental shock. He did not know to what extent Dean Becker had developed this skill, so he had to prepare for an attack using the most powerful version.

If he let himself be touched, it would be so dangerous that he could die.

'The Illusionary Claw, eh...' He looked carefully at his surroundings but suddenly frowned and looked at the ground.

'Shit, it's true. That bastard is here too.'

Just then, the ground beneath him seemed to explode strangely towards him. It was as if the pieces of rock that exploded were drawn by gravity toward his body and wanted to engulf him.

At the same time, he felt danger brush against his neck.

"Frozen Time."

He immediately stepped aside and launched several attacks backward, where Dean Becker had just appeared.

But suddenly, he had to jump back again, and a whip broke through his Frozen Time and tried to hit him.

At that moment, his attacks on Dean pushed him back fiercely, and Conrad's attacks passed without hitting anyone.

'Ah... Shit, I'd forgotten that Frozen Time is weak against illusions of this type.'

After pausing for a moment, the two Heirs looked at him.

"Hehe, it seems you really were just all talk, but you have an amazing ability there... I didn't even feel what happened when I lost sight of you."

Matthew shrugged.

"Less talk and more fight, Heir... That's what I'd like to say, but fighting these kinds of attacks is boring. Illusory attacks like that are useless except to counteract some abilities, but the Illusory Claw is one of the most useless abilities, after all. I originally thought I would get something good out of the Seventh Heir, but I overestimated you. Well, I hope your other abilities are better."
