Chapter 28 - 28 Aubree Fields Appointment 3

Chapter 28: Aubree Field’s Appointment 3 Chapter 28: Aubree Field’s Appointment 3 Victoria Garcia didn’t respond, as she didn’t know what to say.

At that moment, the dormitory’s doorbell rang. Serenity Brown went to open the door and saw a pretty girl standing in front of her.

Without waiting for her to speak, the girl at the door gently smiled and said, “I’m looking for Victoria Garcia.”

“Victoria, someone’s here for you,” Serenity Brown called out loudly to her retreating figure.

Hearing her voice, Victoria Garcia shook off her daze and walked towards the door.

When she saw Aubree Field, Victoria was still surprised, not expecting her to be so persistent.

Today, Aubree Field’s outfit was simpler compared to that night, but still eye-catching.

A red woolen coat, with a matching delicate lace dress underneath. The coat was tied into a beautiful knot, with only a small part of the lace dress exposed. On her feet were a pair of black over-the-knee boots, which made her tall figure look even taller.

This time, her hair wasn’t styled into a princess hairstyle; instead, it was casually loose behind her, and the big wavy shape made her look both elegant and sweet.

Seeing Aubree Field’s persistence, Victoria said, “Wait for me a moment.”

After saying that, she grabbed her coat and scarf and followed Aubree Field out of the dorm.

When Aubree Field looked at people, her eyes were gentle, but not uncomfortable. She watched Victoria put on a gray long coat and wrap a black and gray stitched scarf around her neck.

Simple colors, simple styles; however, when Victoria wore them, they bore her unique stamp; perhaps, this was personal aura.

Not far from the Authority University North Gate, at a coffee house, Aubree Field requested a private room on Floor 2 and then went in with Victoria.

After sitting down, even though they didn’t speak, there was surprisingly no awkwardness.

Breaking the silence, Aubree Field began, “Actually, I’ve seen you many times.”

Upon hearing this, Victoria was stunned.

In her memory, this was only her second encounter with Aubree Field.

Aubree Field chuckled faintly and continued, “In fact, I have been curious about you for six years.”

Victoria didn’t say anything, quietly listening to what she had to say next.

“Six years ago, I learned your name and your existence from Alexander Mitchell. I was extremely curious then about who you were and what kind of person could linger so much in his mind. So, I secretly followed Alexander, and then I saw you.” Aubree Field’s voice was still unhurried, slowly explaining, “Back then, just like now, you had short hair. Your features weren’t as striking as they are now, but you were already a beautiful young woman. However, you treated Alexander with indifference, and it’s hard to believe that your attitude hasn’t changed in six years.”

At this point, Aubree Field looked earnestly into Victoria’s eyes and gently said, “In fact, I know that deep down, you were moved by Alexander.”

“But, that’s not love.” Although Aubree Field’s tone was still gentle, she said this sentence with unwavering conviction.

Upon hearing this, Victoria felt an indescribable heaviness in her heart, but she didn’t know how to release it.
