"Urghh..." Gustav stopped charging at Evan and groaned in pain as he was caught inside the disordered area of Event Horizon.

With his power level, it would have been impossible for Gustav to be caught inside such an area. However, his current mental condition was far from perfect, and since he had just fought against the creature Evan had summoned, he wasn't in his best state and was therefore caught in the disordered zone.

As he felt his life force being drained away under the effect of Event Horizon, his face turned red with anger. But before he could do anything, he felt as if his head had been struck by a hammer and his thoughts became sluggish.

Under the effect of Null Eyes, the target completely forgets the caster's presence and any interaction with them.

As Gustav's mind was not in the right condition, the Gaze of the Forgotten immediately erased Evan's existence from Gustav's memory, leaving him confused as to what he was doing.

Evan closed his eyes to feel the overwhelming power flowing through his body and exhaled lightly.

"I couldn't do it before, but now that I am a Rank Four Core Evolver and a lot more powerful... it might be possible."

Evan held the Halberd in his right hand and brought its shaft a little behind him while pointing its blade at Gustav like a spear.

The power of the dragon flowing through his body began to surge toward his hand, and a sharp look appeared in his eyes.

Gustav's face turned pale white with fear when he heard Evan's words, and he began to run away.

A golden light filled the entire Shadow World as space and time distorted, and everything began to collapse.
