Monopolize My Mysterious Wife

Chapter 23 - 23 23 You Just Despise Me_1

Chapter 23: Chapter 23 You Just Despise Me_1 Chapter 23: Chapter 23 You Just Despise Me_1 Returning to the room, Jian Qing dumped her backpack to the side and didn’t even bother going upstairs. She simply nested herself into the sofa, her gaze fixed on a scene displayed on the TV screen.

The screen displayed a scene outside the front gate, with Quan Jingwu’s tall figure still standing in the same spot.

A few minutes later, the man at the door left and Jian Qing switched off the screen with the remote.

She rubbed her eyebrow briefly, the lights in her eyes flickering dimly. Had he discovered something?

M Country
“Black Jack, can you believe, he said I look like a woman, that odious Bai Jue!”

A gentle voice, like the sound of jade, kept repeating a sentence that echoed in the study room for a long time.

At a desk, a man in a black shirt loosely held a pen that was shaking in his hand. His angular handsome face was sculpted, and his blue eyes sparkled with charming luster. Right now, he helplessly looked at the person clinging onto him.

“Luo Xiaobai, aren’t you supposed to get off me by now?” Black Jack glanced at his watch, “You’ve been yelling about this very thing for almost an hour after you came here. Aren’t you thirsty?”

“Are you bothered by me?” Jian Luo with a aggrieved expression met his blue eyes, objecting.

A twitch at the corners of Black Jack’s mouth, “…”

Does he hate him?

Ancestor, are you joking?

Seeing him not responding, Jian Luo felt even more wronged, deliberately squeezed his neck, and furthermore, shook him hard. “You’re really exasperated with me, aren’t you? I knew it. You and Bai Jue are the same, both of you are detestable.”

Stinky Black Jack, dare to ridicule me, I’ll kill you.

Black Jack felt as if he were about to throw up from all the shaking. He quickly peeled her fingers from his neck and chuckled, “Ungrateful little thing, how can you compare me to Bai Jue? Just think, when have I ever scorned you, huh?”

He loved him, spoiled him, and he didn’t even have time to think about rejecting him.

Jian Luo harrumphed coldly, acting arrogantly, “You do detest me. You didn’t help me when Bai Jue bullied me.”

He actually laughed at me when I wore a skirt. Absolutely unforgivable.

“How did he bully you?” Black Jack held his temples.

“He said I look like a woman.”

Here it was again, Black Jack had a headache already. He quickly tried to soothe, “Alright, alright. Bai Jue is the one who looks like a woman, his whole family looks like women. Can you stop being bothered about this, my little ancestor?”

“You’re just making it up!” Jian Luo criticized bluntly
Bai Jue was alone and had no family. How could there be any family? It’s such a terrible excuse.

“By the way, why did you come out to stir up trouble? If it wasn’t for you, I wouldn’t have lost,” Jian Luo grumbled.

Black Jack’s eyes sparkled unnaturally, and he smiled devilishly, “Didn’t you say that I was your childhood sweetheart? It’s shameful to abandon a childhood sweetheart for another woman.”

“That was something I said when we were kids, playing around. Why do you still bring it up now?” Jian Luo’s ear tips reddened as she mumbled.

Black Jack frowned, imitating him in being willful, “No matter, you said it yourself.”

Jian Luo didn’t dwell on that and returned to the previous topic. His hands started to fidget with Black Jack’s clothes. “I’m so mad. Bai Jue, that jerk, pisses me off.”

Black Jack grasped his hands to save his clothes from getting ruined. “Alright, don’t be mad. I’ll help you deal with him, okay?”

Jian Luo loosened his collar, yet continued to hang like a koala on him, “You have to thoroughly deal with him. He coerced me again to accompany him to the nightclub and said he wouldn’t take you. Then we will spend the night there.”

When it came to slandering Bai Jue, Jian Luo didn’t hold back and said it without changing his expression.

Black Jack’s bright blue eyes became deeper and the corners of his mouth curved dangerously. Bai Jue, you just wait for me.

As expected, Black Jack was angry. Jian Luo cheered in his heart.

Bai Jue, you’re done for!

On the plane to M Country, Bai Jue was unaware that he’d been set up by Jian Luo. Otherwise, he would’ve sighed exasperatingly: sitting here, the accusations just keep raining in from the sky.

“Okay, tell me, what’s really up? I’ve known you for so many years, and I understand you better than you do yourself. How is it possible that you would come all the way here to create such a fuss over Bai Jue’s nonsense?”

Every time Jian Luo acted this way since childhood, it always meant he was anxious and restless inside. So, he would act out to divert his attention.

“Is it because of Jian Qing?”

Jian Luo sluggishly leaned on Black Jack after he hit the nail on the head, “Yeah, I’m worried about my sister.”

Black Jack couldn’t bear to see him so listless. He curved his finger and tapped his head, “Don’t worry so much. Your sister is a fox who can calculate ten steps ahead. Who can hurt her? Rest assured, anyone who encounters your sister will end up in bad luck.”

That experience, was a blood and tears history of the two of them for sure.

At these words, Jian Luo calmed down a bit. He got up from Black Jack and sat opposite him, “I want to go back to the manor. Grandpa will be alone.”

“Alright.” Although Black Jack was reluctant to let him go, he still had to release him.

When will the term childhood sweetheart actually fit?

What a dummy!

Jian Luo didn’t think so much. His attention was drawn to the ornaments on the desk, which he picked up and started to fiddle with.

Leaning back in his office chair, Black Jack silently watched the person opposite him, suddenly feeling a sense of peace.

Lovestruck Luo Xiaobai, wake up soon!
