Seeing the large demon trailing behind Feng Jiu, a knowing smile flickered across the masked man’s eyes, and he murmured in a low voice, “It appears matters are about to become quite intriguing.”

The Demon King accompanied Feng Jiu and the others to the airship. His eyes narrowed slightly when he observed the ancient divine beast, the Fire Phoenix, and the two Super Sacred Beasts within. He refrained from entering, addressing Feng Jiu instead, “Ghost Doctor, please proceed inside! I will send you on your way.”

“Alright,” Feng Jiu replied and led Du Fan and Leng Hua across the barrier and onto the airship.

“Mother!”

“Mother, you’re back!”

“Mother!”

The three children eagerly rushed to her side. Seeing her safe return, their faces lit up with happy smiles.

“You’re back. Come now, Mother will take you into the cabin. The Demon King is sending us away, so the airship will likely shake again.” She ushered the three children into the cabin first but did not allow them to remain there. Instead, she immediately transferred them into her spatial dimension.

Feng Jiu closed the cabin door and emerged, gesturing for Du Fan and the others to take a seat and hold on firmly, lest they be thrown about by the airship’s imminent shaking.

The masked man stood at the bow, glancing at Feng Jiu with a hint of surprise. “It seems I underestimated your capabilities,” he remarked.

Feng Jiu returned his gaze and said slowly, “You should be grateful that we are not adversaries.”

Hearing this, the man chuckled softly, looked up at the sky, and commented, “Indeed, those who have incurred your enmity must be experiencing considerable unease at this very moment!”

Feng Jiu remained silent, for at that instant, the demonic energy emanating from the Demon King outside the airship surged dramatically. His figure expanded dozens of times in an instant, appearing as if he were single-handedly supporting the heavens and the earth.

With a shout, he tore a gaping hole in the fabric of the sky with his bare hands. The edges of the tear were held open by his immense demonic energy, seemingly struggling to close but unable to fully do so.

The Demon King reached out his colossal hand and lifted the airship from below, propelling it forcefully into the exit he had created in the sky. As the airship was launched through, the tear behind it swiftly sealed shut, as if it had never existed.

“We’re back,” Feng Jiu murmured, gazing at the familiar expanse of the sky. Night had already fallen, but the sky was a breathtaking canvas dotted with countless stars. The faint flow of spiritual energy in the air carried a familiar and comforting aura.

A soft smile graced her lips as she gently steered the airship to fly at a leisurely pace before walking into the cabin. Moments later, she emerged with the three children by her side.

“Mother, we’re back!” Yue’er exclaimed, jumping up and down happily on the deck of the airship.

Feng Jiu smiled, bent down, and scooped her daughter into her arms, looking at the man in the mask. “Two more days! I will stay with them for two more days, and after that, you can take them away.”

She understood that the current circumstances were not conducive to the children remaining with her. Despite her reluctance to part with them, their separation was inevitable.

“Mother,” Yue’er whispered, hugging her tightly and burying her small face in her mother’s neck. “Mother, do we really have to leave?”

Feng Jiu sighed softly and said, “Yue’er, be a good girl. Mother is doing this for your own well-being. You witnessed what transpired today. This is not the first instance, nor will it be the last. If you stay with me, sooner or later you will face danger again.”

Yue’er listened intently to her mother’s words and remained silent. Hao’er and Mu Chen, standing quietly beside her, lowered their heads and closed their eyes, lost in their own thoughts.

“We can follow Master and leave, but can’t Mother come with us?” Yue’er couldn’t help but ask, her gaze turning towards the masked man with a hopeful expression.
