Master Of None

The feel of the space mana being moved with his very hands was something Ewalker believed would never be normal to him. If it ever did he might have to reevaluate how he felt about mana and himself as a whole. Luckily as he reached out and used the natural manas to heighten his ability to manipulate space mana, he felt the bridge he had been meditating in front of work with him.

Since he had manipulated the space and in turn, caused every bridge to the elemental planes to solidify even more, this was like being welcomed back to finish a job. While he had not realized the job was not done all the way, this was fine in the essence that he was improving himself and the bridge right away.

The space mana he'd gathered was influenced by natural mana, meaning that it was even closer to the world now due to the balanced mana on this side of the bridge. The wind and earth mana coming over from the elemental planes was not interrupting a single thing.

As the space mana and natural mana were blended together, the bridge to the elemental plane grew in size even more. The manas flowing in to it and out of it smoothed even more. It was a shocking feeling since Walker had not understood how calm the mana could be moving. He had felt the way it flowed before and thought it to be smooth and free, he'd been wrong.

Now the manas were being mixed ever so slightly as they moved through the bridge, meaning that the manas coming from the world worked in tandem to make the manas from the elemental planes safer for those of the world. It was not something that Walker expected but in terms of bringing the world and elemental planes closer together, it was miraculous.

The process had taken roughly a day to undergo but that was fine, Walker could do this nine more times and bring the bridges to the higher quality they were meant to be. He could also see that it would be much easier for larger beings to travel through this bridge while he would also be able to travel faster through to himself.

Just being able to travel through the bridge faster would be amazing since there were many elemental spirits that moved through the bridge. This would speed up the natural flow of their mana and growth which would in turn assist nature too.

As it was not the end all be all of this though, Walker took a deep breath and began to contemplate which bridge he should go to first. He could go to the island and then start to move toward the Sigil continent to handle the bridges there while also looking in to what the others had found. He also knew that making his way to the mountains might be ideal since he knew there should be another bridge there somewhere with how he had sensed the manas through this bridge earlier.

While this was mostly instinct it was enough since he was sure that his instincts were right. This sixth sense was something he felt he would understand a lot better once he was closer to all manas.

"Walker! You need to come with us right now!" It was Almas' voice that broke through Walker's moment of peace. Yet, he didn't even hesitate to leap toward her, he could feel the stress in her voice and knew this was serious beyond serious, it was a proper emergency.

"What's wrong?" He felt a sudden pressure of water mana and looked in to the sky seeing Current in his water dominator dragon form flying in circles. The stress he had was also clear, his control of his own mana was somewhat disruptive.

"What happened in the new city building project?" Mow Walker felt there was something much worse going on.

"Current and Su went to explore some off water mana senses that came from the area of the naturally formed water rune. They found a break in space leading to an elemental plane. There was chaotic mana and it wasn't balanced. Apparently Su fell in and they need you to handle it because Current can't control enough water mana to change anything there at all."

Her words had barely finished and Walker was stepping through the air in intense leaps. The space mana he piled toward him brought him right in to Current's face before he spoke softly, "Let's go." There wasn't an ounce of panic or stress, just calm hardness that came with knowing he had the ability to help and he would not accept any other option than protecting Su and fixing the problem.

That was that. It would happen and Walker would not accept a single other possibility.

Current felt a large amount of mana move around him. It was every single buff to work on speed and flow of mana enhancing his abilities. While many had felt the abilities Walker had learned in terms of boosting other strength or skills in some way, it was normally spread out to many and not just one person. Current's mind struggled to comprehend the sheer amount of improvement he faced all of the sudden.

Every flap of his wings brought him forward much more than he was used to. He barely even registered that Walker had used space mana as well to bring them through the elemental teleportation rune formation in an instant. It was staggering the level of skill Walker possessed.

He'd seen Walker fight with everything he had, yet, that image in his mind was so far past now that he felt and saw this. Walker might not show it, but his level of manipulation and understanding of mana and his own skills was radically higher than it used to be. He just hadn't been tested recently to show it all.

As Current expected to fly right to the breaking space he started in that direction only to find he was moving larger distances ahead in single breaths. It wasn't only his boosted movements but also Walker's short distance teleporting them both to get there.

Even more so, Current sensed a protective bubble of natural mana around him keeping the flow of his water mana from being broken. He could still sense the water mana around him but he knew he was not at risk for losing control of it. In fact, he felt more in control than average.

"There was chaotic mana here but it is partially held back. There's something inside that plane halting it from developing too much and it's why Su was able to be pulled in." In an instant Walker sensed it, a force holding back the mana with all its might.

'Blizzard elemental

While many would think this elemental spirit is one larger being, it is actually thousands of smaller wind and water elemental spirits bringing their minds together to become an elemental. While its intelligence is slower to develop, its control and understanding of ice and storms is very high.

The unique form of water and wind mana united as blizzard is unique to it and it can communicate through the entire area that it governs using its mana. While it would normally take hundreds of years to understand its place in nature, it felt a connection with a naturally occurring water rune and was able to absorb it to understand how it can join the world.

It has the potential…'

"I know what happened. The water rune drew out a connection to the being within the blizzard elemental plane and from there it broke through. That's also why there is less chaotic mana, it realizes that something is not right and it wants to survive." Walker could also sense the delicacy of the manas here. It was struggling.

"We will save it, I need you to make sure the water mana doesn't flow out from this area, when this elemental plane comes to the world, it will cause a little trouble but if we don't good the water mana properly the blizzard elemental and Su will be harmed or die."

As much as Walker wanted to go within the blizzard elemental plane, he couldn't. He saw the blizzard elemental and understood the balance right now. He just had to make sure everything joined together seamlessly.

"I guess I will be using a lot more mana now." His jumbled promise to himself pushed away the worry that life and death mana joined with natural mana would work well enough here. He couldn't meditate or hesitate. He could only act right now.

Anything else would put everyone more in danger. He knew Current could halt the flow of water mana but he wasn't sure how the blizzard elemental would react when his own mana manipulation reached out to take the reins. He'd have to just hope for the best.
