He unleashed his skills, transforming into a being with three heads and six arms.

The Jingu Bang split into three and struck at Wu Zhiji.

Wu Zhiji, unable to resist, was hit on the shoulder by Sun Wukong’s staff.

With a cry of pain, it turned and fled.

To stay here meant certain death.

Having lived from ancient times to the present, Wu Zhiji naturally knew when to adapt.

The battle between Roc Demon King and Ox Demon King had reached a fever pitch; they had assumed their human forms, both covered in blood.

The two Great Demon Kings were gasping for breath, staring fiercely at each other.

In a short time, it was not easy for them to determine a victor.

But to the discerning eye, it was evident that Roc Demon King was at a disadvantage.

Sun Wukong approached, staring coldly at Roc Demon King.

Two against one, Roc Demon King was certainly no match.

“Haha.”

The Roc Demon King suddenly burst into laughter.

Sun Wukong and Ox Demon King frowned, unsure of what he found so amusing.

“Little brother, what madness is this?”

Ox Demon King bellowed angrily.

“A bunch of ants, oblivious at death’s door.”

The Roc Demon King looked arrogantly and disdainfully at Sun Wukong and the other, his face full of scorn.

Ox Demon King snorted coldly, “Still spouting madness at a time like this, truly unaware of life and death.”

He signaled Sun Wukong to strike, to finish off the Roc Demon King.

Just then, a decree appeared, filled with an evil aura, as if it gathered the most negative energies of the world.

The decree transformed into a Demon Sword, slashing down at Sun Wukong and his allies.

“Clang.”

Sun Wukong struck with his staff, colliding with the Demon Sword.

The next moment, he staggered backward several steps.

Although the Demon Sword had dimmed, it continued its descent.

With a fierce swing, the Ox Demon King’s Mixed Iron Rod came crashing down.

“Boom.”

The Demon Sword shattered.

This delay allowed the Roc Demon King to reveal his true form and flee from the scene.

Sun Wukong and the Ox Demon King did not give chase.

“That decree’s aura, it’s like that of a demon god from ancient times.”

Zhenyuan appeared, descending, and gazed in the direction where the decree vanished, his expression somber.

“Who?”

Sun Wukong asked.

This brother, known for his worldly wisdom, might know the identity of the other.

“A being who should have been dead long ago, I never imagined he was still alive.”

Zhenyuan’s face tightened.

Sun Wukong and the rest were curious, waiting for Zhenyuan to reveal the answer.

“Kunpeng.”

Zhenyuan uttered a name, filled with killing intent.

Kunpeng?

The name sounded unfamiliar.

“I have read an article by Zhuangzi that spoke of Kunpeng; it should be one of the mythical beasts between heaven and earth.

How could it possess such mana?”

Sun Wukong exclaimed in surprise.

Glancing at them, Zhenyuan sighed.

“There are many things you do not know.

Kunpeng is also a Primordial Great God, born at the dawn of heaven and earth, surviving through numerous aeon-changing calamities.

I thought he had perished, but unexpectedly, he is still alive.”

Primordial Great God, a title for those who are at least of the Heavenly Venerate realm.

“What does Kunpeng want to do?”

Sun Wukong asked.

Zhenyuan looked at Sun Wukong, smiled faintly, and said, “Immortality and Indestructibility.”

Sun Wukong was astonished, “Primordial Great Gods, could it be they haven’t reached the Immortal and Indestructible realm?”

Zhenyuan managed a faint smile and lamented, “Amongst heaven and earth, only six individuals are truly Immortal and Indestructible, neither the Great Heavenly Venerate nor I qualify, and neither does Kunpeng.”

“Lord Li, Yuanshi Heavenly Venerate, Lingbao Dao Venerate, and Goddess Nuwa, who else?”

Sun Wukong counted on his fingers.

Zhenyuan nodded and said, “In the West, there are two more.”

Sun Wukong was taken aback for a moment.

If the Buddha has passed into extinction, who else could be in the West?

Amitabha Buddha?

Impossible, he’s not even a match for Tathagata.

As for Lamp-Burning, it’s even less necessary to say, although he has entered the realm of the Heavenly Venerate, he cannot compare with Tathagata.

“It’s Jie Yin and Zhunti.”

“How could it be them?”

Sun Wukong was shocked.

Jie Yin is Amitabha Buddha, and Zhunti is a Great Bodhisattva, rumored to be the reincarnation of an Ancient Buddha.

Both are either suppressed by Tathagata or merely a Great Bodhisattva.

No matter what, Sun Wukong had never considered that those two would be them.

Could it be that their usual behavior was all an act?

Seeing Sun Wukong’s surprise, Zhenyuan chuckled and said, “You’re still too young, there’s a lot you don’t understand.

Once you do, you’ll realize the Three Realms are far more terrifying than you could imagine.”

A glint flashed in Sun Wukong’s eyes, wasn’t he standing high enough?

As a Taiyi Celestial Immortal, one more step, and he would be a Heavenly Venerate.

“If the Demon Teacher Kunpeng were not dead and reappeared once more, he would surely make a huge commotion, forming the Demon Clan alliance is just his first step, there must be more schemes to come.”

The Ox Demon King said in a deep voice.

Zhenyuan glanced at him, a hint of understanding in his eyes.

The Ox Demon King gave an embarrassed smile as if something of his had been exposed, his gaze somewhat evasive.

“You have thwarted Kunpeng’s first step in his plan, he won’t let you off lightly, be very cautious in the future.”

“Rest assured, it’s not that easy to kill Old Sun,” Sun Wukong said with confidence.

The Ox Demon King, however, appeared to be uneasy, his gaze flickering.

“As for these fellows from the Demon Clan alliance, you should deal with them, and don’t let them become tools for others,” Zhenyuan said.

Then, he took his leave from Sun Wukong and the others and left the place.

Looking at the trembling group of Demon Kings, Sun Wukong thought for a moment and said, “Big brother, they seem hard to manage, might as well kill them all.”

At these words, the Demon Kings trembled even more, with the lesser demons in utter disarray.

The Ox Demon King glared at him, torn between laughter and tears, “Don’t talk nonsense, you’re scaring them to death.”

“Heh heh.”

Sun Wukong chuckled.

The Ox Demon King’s gaze fell on the Demon Kings, saying, “You are all of the Demon Clan, I won’t make things difficult for you.

You can choose to follow me or my seventh brother; if you don’t wish to follow, you may leave on your own.

I will naturally not trouble you, but don’t you cause calamities among the common people.”

Hearing the Ox Demon King’s words, the Demon Kings instantly breathed a sigh of relief.

Almost all the Demon Kings immediately stood by the Ox Demon King’s side.

In comparison, they felt the Ox Demon King, as the numero uno Great Saint of the Demon Clan, was much more reliable.

Sun Wukong’s great fame was mostly earned through defeating Demon Clans.

Moreover, he had just suggested killing them off, truly too ferocious.

Only Bai Yu stood by Sun Wukong’s side.

Sun Wukong was somewhat surprised; he thought that after his words just now, all these individuals would follow the Ox Demon King.

Who would have thought Bai Yu actually chose to follow him?

Was this lad not afraid of death?

Facing Sun Wukong’s gaze, Bai Yu smiled slightly and said, “I have always admired the Great Sage Equalling Heaven’s fame, so I’ve decided to follow the Great Sage.”

Sun Wukong nonchalantly said, “Suit yourself.”

Bai Yu’s face immediately lit up with joy.

Just at that moment, Sun Wukong’s gaze fell upon the Crocodile God.

The Crocodile God, who had thought he’d escaped disaster, tensed at Sun Wukong’s attention.
