I am Succubus!

Chapter 259

Chapter 259

Somehow, the Kana of this timeline had me figured out. Maybe not warning bells, but now my panic bells were ringing loud and clear. How? What gave it away? I could charm him, but the logic might not stick. If Kana was just that sure I wasn't the same Saeko he knew, the effect would break immediately.

"W-W-What are you talking about? I am Saeko! I just… er… decided to transform into a succubus for… old times' sake…" I said unconvincingly.

"More like— nngh! Wait! Stop giving me a blowjob already!" Kana scooted away from Layla's reach, much to her disappointment. "Listen, Saeko. I know you can't be my Saeko because you rejected me after I asked you out."

That's right. If Saeko and Mio were going on a date, and Kana was in town, they naturally would have gone together had the three been in a relationship.

However, the problem of Kana realizing who I was still remained. It didn't seem like the world was falling apart, so maybe I didn't screw anything up. Yet

Kana sighed. "Still not convinced? Saeko made it very clear that he didn't see me that way. We're still best friends! I hung out with him yesterday, but it's obvious he only has eyes for Mio. So, I backed off as any good friend would."

"Probably no matter what timeline I'm in, you're always thinking of me." I smiled.

"Gotcha. You really aren't my Saeko!" he exclaimed.

Damn it!

Behind Kana, Layla had freed herself from the chains and incanted a spell. Like the strings had been cut from his person, he fell forward into my arms asleep.

"What was that for?!" I cried.

"Eh? Should I not have? I thought, since Kana was onto you, that we should put him to sleep!" Layla said in defense of herself.

"It's not the wrong thing to do, just… hm. I'm going to dive into Kana's dreams. Layla, you stay awake and keep watch."

Layla wanted to protest, but I sat down next to Kana and leaned my head against his. Very quickly, my consciousness entered the land of slumber forged through succubus magic. Although dark at first, a world began to take form. I weaved it using Kana's inner desires and, to my surprise, I stood in front of a cafe… the same cafe I'd seen before. After all, Kana from my timeline had wanted to open one with me and Mio one day.

As soon as I entered, Kana absentmindedly welcomed me from the counter. He lifted his gaze and gasped.

"Huh? Holy shit. Talk about whiplash. Wasn't I just talking to you… in my house?" Kana asked.

"Yeah, about that… Layla, the other succubus I was with, might have accidentally put you to sleep. Harmless sleep! I came in to talk to you. You, uhm… Have a pretty nice cafe here," I said on my way in.

"You think? I daydream about it sometimes. When I was still chasing after Saeko, I'd fantasize about owning a cafe and running it together. That was while she was still a succubus. Must be kind of awkward to hear this from me, huh?" he said, scratching the back of his head.

I shook my head. It wasn't awkward at all, since my Kana had the same exact dream. Except it wasn't just a dream. Mio, him, and I were together, meaning it would be an eventuality.

"Hey, be honest with me. Are you and the Kana from your world… together?" Kana asked reluctantly.

"We are. Not just me and you though. Mio, too. The three of us are in a relationship," I said.

"That lucky son of a gun! He's dating both of you? Meanwhile, I'm here without a girlfriend. Well, judging by the way you light up when you talk about him, it sounds like your Kana's a great guy. I'm obviously jealous, but I'm also really glad that there's a me out there happy with a Saeko," he explained with envy in his voice.

Whatever came over me, the next thing I knew, I was holding Kana tightly to my chest. I, too, wished for him to have the same happiness. Especially with how kind he was.

Kana wrapped his arms around me, but I felt something poking at my upper thighs. When we glanced down, it was his raging erection.

"Er… Sorry." Kana lowered his head apologetically.

Since time stretched out during a dream, we had plenty of time to share stories with each other over coffee. Kana told me all about how they grew up together. They being him and Saeko. Likewise, I told him about how Kana from my timeline and I grew up together.

Our stories mostly overlapped. We did a lot of the same things and experienced a lot of the same things. Where the timelines diverged was Saeko choosing not to be a succubus. I told Kana that I and a couple of people ended up stranded here as a result of strange magic, so we were searching for a way back. It wasn't entirely a lie. I omitted the real reason for being here, hoping not to screw up the timeline.

By the looks of it, Kana had some suspicions that I was lying, but he experienced enough weird stuff to cautiously accept my explanation.

"Maybe I can help! You probably don't want to run into Saeko and Mio for good reason. I might know some things that could lead you in the right direction," Kana suggested.

"In that case… Since your Saeko didn't choose to stay as a succubus, who's wielding the Blade of the First Temptress now?" I asked.

"Ahh. I remember that hubbub. After they defeated Beatrice, Saeko and Mio held on to it for a while. Some dark elven artifact hunters came searching. They almost got into a fight, but Saeko made a deal to hand it directly over to whoever their leader was. Queen Elendir of Elza. I'm guessing you know her. Anyway, the dark elves have it locked away now," he explained.

There was probably no better person to give it to than Queen Elendir. If her people followed through on making amends with the light elves like in my timeline, then it must be in their hands now after the forfeiture of magical items. That, or they were scheming another war, but that wasn't my problem to deal with.

"What about a succubus queen? Who's leading the succubi in this world?" I pressed him.

"Uhhh. You might not like the answer, but that would be Mio," Kana said.

I stared at him in utter disbelief.

He continued, "It helped that Mio's being backed by some very powerful succubi. Selene's on her side, too, if you can believe that."

On one hand, I was very worried. On the other, if there were succubi willing to follow Mio, then things should be just fine.

"What about Hatsumi? How's my sister in your timeline?" I asked.

"Not sure. Haven't seen her in a while though, not that I keep in touch with Hatsumi. Last I heard, she and Saeko kind of became indifferent with each other," Kana said.

"Wait. Did you just say Hatsumi, my obsessive older sister, isn't in love with the Saeko of this world?" I squinted dubiously at him.

"Er… Well, Hatsumi was obsessed. This was a while ago though. For some reason, it just stopped after high school. Like cold turkey stopped. I figured it was just to give Saeko some space, now that he's in college," he explained.

In my timeline, Hatsumi was still the same. If given the chance, she would put a collar around my neck and make a pet out of me. Hell, we still had sex and kissed like lovers every once in a while despite being siblings!

My 'something is off' senses were ringing now. I should investigate just in case. It was about time to meet back up with Shayle and Hana though. Kana accompanied us into the city. The other two were surprised that I let someone from this timeline follow along, but things seemed fine.

Funny enough, Kana had already long met Shayle and Hana from his timeline. Their reunion here was fairly indifferent. We proceeded to go over what our respective pairs discovered over some specialty coffee.

"So, you guys won't believe this. In this world, I found out… Hana is a college student! That means she was a THIRD YEAR IN HIGH SCHOOL!" Hana beat her fist on the table and drew some attention.

"I said important things!" I put a hand to my face and groaned.

"It IS important! That means Mio didn't screw Hana over, and she got to go on that Okinawa school trip with you guys. I didn't! Maaaaaan. I'm still so miffed about that!" She moped, resting her face on the table.

I rolled my eyes and turned to Shayle, hoping she discovered something interesting while Hana was screwing around.

"We didn't come across anything that really stuck out to us. I wished that chronomancer gave us a clue rather than send us on a goose hunt." Shayle clicked her tongue.

"Oh! Oh! Oh!" Layla raised a hand, her expectant gaze on me as though asking for permission.

I nodded to give her the go-ahead.

"Queen Saeko thinks the temporal anomaly might have to do with her sister, Hatsumi!" Layla explained.

"Apparently, Hatsumi isn't as interested in Saeko as she is with me in my world," I added.

"That is weird." Hana nodded in agreement.

"Yes, I agree." Shayle fell into thought.

Even this Kana felt something was off and agreed.

"It kind of bothers me that you guys readily accepted that… Anyway, we're on the same page. My plan is to sneak into my house at night, long after everyone's asleep. I'll dive into Hatsumi's dreams to get a better idea of what's up," I explained the short of my plan.

Everyone was on board.

The Saeko and Mio of this timeline didn't end up exactly the same way as my timeline did. He continued attending Tsukiji University instead. Since Saeko wasn't a woman or succubus, he didn't ever meet with Mr. Ishioka to become an ambassador between Japan and Elza, and nor did he become a glorified prostitute at Tsuki.

Kana had explained that while the job initially fell to Mio, she eventually passed that on to Yumi and Hana. Even here, Asakura was still near and dear to her heart.

However, the two did end up moving into a place of their own. The same exact apartment actually. Because of that, Hatsumi would be home alone, and we didn't run the risk of encountering Saeko and Mio.

We waited until nightfall before making our move towards the familiar suburbs of my neighborhood. Since disguises turned out to be a good idea, we picked up some new clothes. The only thing was, our group stuck out like a sore thumb walking together. Layla and I decided to stick to being invisible. That way, it just looked like a couple of people heading home.

As we neared my house, I couldn't stop my heart from racing for some reason. My timeline or not, this was Hatsumi. My sister. Sister to this world's Saeko, too. Hopefully the anomaly was something I could fix.

An aura tickled mine, and the blood in my veins went cold. The same was true for Layla, too. A cool gust of wind blew past me.

"Selene!" Hana exclaimed.

The crimson-skinned, knuckle bruiser of a succubus landed in front of us. She eyed us cautiously, brows furrowed and with an air of confusion.

"Strange… I'm sensing a familiar aura that shouldn't be, and another that I do know. Layla, and… Queen Saeko?" Selene eyed where we were standing, even though she couldn't see us.

Shit. There was no way out of this other than to reveal ourselves. Of course. Greater succubi could still detect other greater succubi, and it didn't surprise me that Selene would be with Hatsumi. She was obsessed with my sister, and that also seemed to be true here.

"Selene." I dropped my invisibility. "I can explain—"

A knuckle sandwich was heading right for my face. I put Layla between us, and she took the blow instead. The masochistic succubus shuddered from an orgasm as she went flying from Selene's punch.

"Whaddya think yer doing?!" Hana exclaimed.

"Saeko relinquished being a succubus and vowed never to transform back! I don't know who this imposter is, but I swore to him and Mio not to let anyone suspicious come near Hatsumi. I'll protect her with my life!" Selene wound up for another hit, but the three of us dogpiled on top of her.

This went from smooth sailing to bad in an instant. A fight with Selene could level the neighborhood, going off how it turned out when we fought way back when.

"Sh-Should I help?" Kana hovered over us cautiously.

"Call Queen Mio!" Selene yelled.

"Don't call Mio!" I yelled.

Selene and I glared at each other.

"I see. Shayle, Hana, Layla, and Kana have been fooled by this imposter. Not me, I— I…" Selene became instantly drowsy after Shayle waved a fuming potion under her nose.

"Sleep potion, except this turns to gas when exposed to air," Shayle explained.

"I really need to thank Queen Elendir for sending you along with me…" I expelled the heaviest sigh of my life yet.

We dragged Selene into an alley and placed an empty liquor bottle into her hand. When she eventually wakes up later, hopefully she questions what happened here.

Layla turned out to be just fine. Her eyes were spinning when we found her, but that was all. I carried her the rest of the way, then past the still unconscious succubus to Shayle and Hana once we made it to my house. The lights were out. Hatsumi was likely already asleep, especially at this time.

"You guys wait here. If Hatsumi wakes up, she's going to freak out seeing us. I'll go alone," I said.

They nodded.

I flew up to the balcony of my bedroom and slid the window open. The room looked exactly like mine, down to the order of books on the shelf. Slowly, I tiptoed down the hallway for Hatsumi's bedroom. Cracking open the door revealed my sister, sound asleep in bed.

Using my succubus aura, I wrapped it around Hatsumi to enter her dream world. Things were… different though. Instead of a physical world, I was in a dark place with projections of me— well, of boy Saeko, all around. Memories familiar and forgotten played silently.

I found Hatsumi after taking a step inside. She was sitting on a picnic blanket, staring up at the many scenes with a smile.

"Saeko?" Hatsumi turned to me.

"Geh. I mean, hey!" I waved.

"Strange… I was pretty sure Saeko became a boy again. Why are you a succubus?" She cocked her head sideways.

Hatsumi spoke of Saeko like any sibling would. There was no hint of lust or obsessive love in her words. Something was definitely off about her. I had to go about this carefully…

"I'm a succubus because you wanted to see me as one in your dream, silly." I took a seat beside my sister and rested my hand on hers, but she flinched away.

"Sorry. For some reason I can't explain, it's like a force is telling me not to be near you. Even in my dreams, this is about as close as I can be. I can't remember the last time I hugged you," Hatsumi said somberly.

Without a word, I scooted closer to embrace Hatsumi. The two of us faced each other, then I kissed her. She backed away with a start, but I held her close. Our lips connected again, this time more passionately and unwilling to part.

"Mm… Saeko… I missed your touch… I love you so much, I don't know what to do with myself!" Hatsumi panted as we made out.

"You know what you need to do then. Come back to me, even if you have to force yourself. I know Mio and I would want that," I whispered seductively.

Hatsumi gulped hard and nodded. A knot in my chest came undone, and a burden lifted from my shoulders. The projections turned off. The world went completely black— and lit up like fireworks in the night. We were standing in the living room with a dozen boy Saekos.

"Hatsumi!"

"Sis!"

"Where have you been?"

"We missed you!"

"Hahh… Hahh… So many Saekos in need of my love… Hehehe… Hehe… Your big sister is here!" Hatsumi ripped her clothes off and pounced on the nearest Saeko.

I couldn't believe my eyes as Hatsumi was the one doing the mating press on Saeko, pounding her hips on his dick like a jackhammer on concrete. This was probably where I took my leave before I ended up in a self-cest moment.

Once I emerged, I was standing beside an asleep Hatsumi. However, now she was sleep-masturbating. I had to really fight the urge not to get in on the action.

"Take care of Saeko, Hatsumi." I smiled and bent down to kiss her.

When I returned to the others, there was a portal open.

"Wasn't me, by the way." Shayle pointed to the portal. "One moment we were standing here, and the next, it opened."

"It's probably from Gerdell. I think it means we fixed the temporal anomaly," I said.

"You guys know what that means? One more to go, and we'll be home in no time!" Hana shoved Layla through and jumped in.

I was about to head in—

"Saeko!" Kana shouted.

"Yeah?" I turned around to face him.

"You better treat your Kana well!" he exclaimed with a teasing grin.

That was a matter of course.

"It might not be Saeko or Mio, but you're going to find someone you deserve and who deserves you!" I returned the smile, then followed the rest of my friends through the portal.

The chronomancer, Gerdell Sinclair was waiting for us on the other side. We were back within the chamber. She had a piece of chocolate in her mouth and a cup of what smelled like coffee in the other. An open doujin of Kaede's latest doujin rested on the table, opened to the last page.

Unlike before when Gerdell didn't want to show us hospitality, several more chairs had been brought in. A plate full of snacks and coffee were offered, too. She extended both arms to her side, welcoming us back to her tower.

"You've succeeded! Well done. The temporal anomaly is gone, and the knot has been smoothed out. Honestly, I expected you to go around altering the timeline to disastrous proportions!" Gerdell laughed boisterously.

"Did you not have faith in us or something…?" I hesitated to ask but wanted to know anyway.

"I have faith. Some would say too much. But you cannot tell me the allure of bending another timeline to better suit your comforts isn't tempting," she said, seeming very sure of herself.

It was hard to disagree with that…

"And what would happen if we were to drastically alter the timeline by running amok?" Shayle asked.

"Why, I would have stopped you right away. Like a parent would a child foolishly entangling themselves on rope," Gerdell explained.

I took a seat at the table and drank some coffee. The others did the same. The taste was heavenly. I'd never had coffee with a kind of volume and weight to it. The black nectar revitalized my very soul.

"Before, you said there were two temporal anomalies for us to do? Are you about to send us to the next one?" I asked.

"Not so quickly." Gerdell shook her head. "This next one might be a little hard to swallow. Its timeline is in a very precarious state. One wrong move, and we might tear the fabric of reality apart. I will need to brief you, but I have several things to take care of first. For the time being, you four will take residence in my tower. I shall see to your hospitality."

When I opened my mouth to ask for more details, we had been transported to a garden terrace. The four of us were sitting in a gazebo. Instead of the cosmos, there were blue skies and clouds above us. Around us were beautiful shrubs and flower beds. Behind us was a nice lumber cabin that was probably supposed to be our home for the time being.

"Man! I didn't even get to eat the snacks!" Hana complained, only for the goods to appear suddenly at the table. "Oh, sweet!"
