Bluffing Through
Chapter Two
Lakes High school students has been aversed to the school library even though they don't dislike it.as an elite school whose percentage of student from ordinary homes is smaller than that of those from rich homes, thus, making it only a daydream for farmers who would have wanted to enroll their children.
Because of this, the ordinary students are granted the opportunity to study in lakes high only when scholarship slots are issued out by the ever mysterious three big wigs of the school.these are the people who oversee to the affairs of the school and ensure it's smooth running.
That the school library is functioning was because of the poor ordinary students and it's mostly an avenue to source materials they couldn't afford for their daily academic needs.
Ming Ziyou was one of the ordinary students who gained the scholarship and that was how the library became his hideout or HQ.to avoid his tormenters, he hides away in the library reading novels and revising the lessons taught in class.
Unfortunately for him today, he was messed up by the bullies led by Tai Daokun before he could sneak away.approaching in his disheveled state, he doubted if he would be allowed access by the librarian who have somehow became his friend due to his constant visits to the library.
Pushing the door feebly, Ming Ziyou entered gingerly into the library, not daring to approach the familiar desk.his plan the entire time was to sneak in without being noticed.
"Student Ziyou, I have been expecting you.come, come over and greet your old Li"Zhao Li, the librarian called out to him warmly.this made Ziyou to stop abruptly.shuffling clumsily, he faced the middle aged librarian who been his support in small but significant ways.
"I..I wa wa..was jjust coming from the cafeteria uncle Li" Ming Ziyou muttered, looking around like a trapped animal looking for a way of escape.he knew Zhao Li is aware of his constant bullying and has always advised him to fight back for himself.but Ming Ziyou always end up with his head in the toilet bowl or worse still, locked up in his locker.
It would have been a relief if it ended at school, at least he could catch his breath but no.the orphanage has and will always be his second hell as he gets a free torturing even for no reason at times by the matron, Mrs Cheng and the few remaining older children.reporting is futile as he would receive beating from the matron.
"Alright boy, get along.go do your thing as lunch break will be over pretty soon"Zhao Li waved him away as some students came to sign up to use the library.
Ming Ziyou needed no further persuasion as he wasn't comfortable around people, his classmates inclusive.this might have been the reason for his unrest since getting the scholarship as he had no friends and often behaves awkwardly around people.he hurriedly located the secluded corner of the library which was his preferred space and which of course, was seldom visited by students.
What do you think?
