Crossdressing To Survive An Apocalypse

Chapter 420 28

As tension filled the room, Kyle and the others exchanged uneasy glances, unsure of how to proceed in the face of Hary's sudden arrival and emotional outburst. Murong Shao stepped forward, his voice calm but firm.

"Hary, we're trying to save him," Murong Shao said gently, placing a hand on Hary's shoulder in an attempt to calm him. "We don't have much time. Kyle and Kaden have a plan, and we need to act quickly."

Hary's grip tightened around the man lying on the bed, his eyes filled with fear and desperation. "I can't lose him," he whispered, his voice cracking with emotion.

Kyle approached Hary slowly, his expression sympathetic. "We don't want to hurt him, Hary. We're trying to find a way to save him," Kyle said softly, hoping to reassure him.

With a heavy heart, Hary reluctantly released his hold on the man, allowing Kyle and Kaden to proceed with their plan. As Kaden began to carefully sever the man's nerves, Kyle monitored his condition closely, ready to intervene at the first sign of trouble.

Minutes stretched into hours as they worked tirelessly, their determination unwavering in the face of adversity. Finally, they saw a glimmer of hope as the tree's grip on the man began to weaken, its branches retracting slightly beneath his skin.

"We're making progress," Kyle said, his voice filled with relief as he glanced at Murong Shao and Hary. "But we're not out of the woods yet. We need to keep going."

With a collective sigh of relief, Kyle and the others carefully extracted a small tree rroot fragmenf from the man's body, their hands trembling with exhaustion and triumph. As it was being removed, the man's eyes fluttered open, a weak smile gracing his lips.

"T-thank you," he whispered, his voice barely above a whisper. "I... I need a written report of the extraction,"

Tears welled up in Hary's eyes as he embraced his lover, overcome with emotion at the miraculous turn of events. Murong Shao clapped Kyle and Kaden on the back, his expression one of profound gratitude.

"Thank you for everything," Murong Shao said, his voice filled with sincerity. "You've given us hope in the darkest of times."

With a sense of relief washing over them, Kyle and Kaden exchanged a glance, silently acknowledging the weight of their accomplishment. However, their work was far from over.

"We should get him to a medical facility for proper care," Kyle suggested, his mind already racing with the logistics of their next steps.

Murong Shao nodded in agreement, his gaze lingering on the man lying on the bed. "I'll arrange for transportation immediately," he said, his voice filled with determination.

As Murong Shao made the necessary arrangements, Kyle and Kaden assisted Hary in gently lifting his lover from the bed, careful not to cause any further harm. With Murong Shao leading the way, they made their way out of the secluded cabin and into the cool night air.

Outside, a vehicle awaited them, its engine humming softly in the darkness. With practiced efficiency, they carefully loaded the man into the backseat, ensuring he was as comfortable as possible for the journey ahead.

As they drove through the winding forest roads, Kyle couldn't shake the feeling of satisfaction that washed over him. Despite the dangers they had faced, they had succeeded in saving a life, and for that, he felt immensely grateful.

Hours later, they arrived at a well-equipped medical facility, where the man was immediately whisked away for further treatment. Exhausted but filled with a sense of accomplishment, Kyle and the others settled into the waiting area, knowing that their journey was far from over.

Kyle sat in the waiting area, his mind replaying the events of the past few hours. The weight of exhaustion settled upon his shoulders, but it was outweighed by the relief and satisfaction of knowing they had succeeded in their mission.

Hary sat beside him, his hands clenched tightly in his lap, his eyes never straying from the door through which his lover had disappeared. Kyle reached out a hand and placed it on Hary's shoulder, offering what little comfort he could in the face of uncertainty.

"We did everything we could," Kyle said softly, his voice barely above a whisper. "He's in good hands now."

Hary nodded, his expression a mix of gratitude and worry. "Thank you," he murmured, his voice thick with emotion. "I don't know what I would've done without you."

Kaden gave Hary's shoulder a reassuring squeeze before turning his attention to Murong Shao, who was pacing restlessly nearby. The older man's brow was furrowed in deep concentration, his mind undoubtedly racing with thoughts of their next steps.

"We should debrief and make a plan," Kyle suggested, rising to his feet. "There's still much to do."

Murong Shao nodded in agreement, his demeanor shifting from anxious to determined. "You're right," he said, his voice steady. "Let's gather everyone and discuss our next move."

Together, they rounded up the rest of their group and convened in a quiet corner of the waiting area. As they began to discuss their options, Kyle felt a renewed sense of purpose wash over him. Despite the challenges that lay ahead, he knew they were stronger together, and with their unwavering determination, they would see this through to the end.

As the hours passed and their plans took shape, Kaden couldn't help but feel a glimmer of hope amidst the uncertainty.

The patient can make a full recovery if all the root nodules were removed. But it would take a few days and a few visits to the hospital to sew down the incisions.

The next roots could be indifficult positions like the nerves and veins. He had to be prepared for everything.

"Qhat is the patients blood type. We are going to need a few blood bags. Plus we have phase the extraction in intervals of a few weeks. During this time the patient must be fed with balanced nutritional meals,"
