The user is not bound by any limits and can break through them to grow stronger endlessly. The more the user fights stronger opponents, the more he grows. The user can adapt and increase skill comprehension during battles.

The user's mastery over mana is increased immensely; they can control the mana with ease. The user can merge with ambient mana for some time, making their body intangible. The longer the user stays intangible, the more stamina drain there will be. The user cannot phase through high-density objects or high-density magic.

[3. Abyssal Soul (10%)]

The user's soul gains a ▒▒▒▒▒ property. They can store any 5 magic attacks that touch their body of power equal to the user's level or weaker than him and discharge it within 96 hours with 90% effectiveness. Absorbing and releasing the attack consumes 80% of the magic power used to attack the user.

[4. Spirit Domain]

The user can create a domain of 30 m radius around himself. The spirit domain increases all the senses of the user within that domain. The longer the domain is active, the more mana is drained and mental strength is consumed.

[5. Eyes of Supreme]

The user can see through vital points and the aura of any living thing as well as any traps. The user can activate Supreme Gaze—a more advanced form of Predatory Gaze that causes fear or hallucinations based on the opponent's greatest fear. The stronger the opponent, or those having high mental resistance, can resist it.

[6. Limit Break]

The user can activate this skill to increase their stats by one minor level for 90 seconds. It has a cooldown of 48 hours, and after its use, the user's stats will be decreased by one minor level for 25 minutes.

Alden scanned through the updated description, his expression unreadable.

Nothing had changed too drastically. Just as he expected.

This world… it had nerfed his supreme ability.

Limitless Ascension—an ability meant to shatter ceilings—had been shackled, downgraded into a progressive evolution.

As if the very system feared what it could become. The potential was there, but it was locked behind slow, incremental upgrades.

How many ranks would he need to climb before it reached its true form?

But right now only one thought came to his mind.

He clicked his tongue.

He just wanted to leave this world once and for all. He had seen the worlds outside this one, so he didn't really need to stay here either.

The second sub-skill was his most underused skill—Monarch of Mana.

The passive was great, but he didn't use active intangibility much.

The reason was simple. It was too inefficient to use in battles due to its high stamina drain.

But for infiltration, stealth, or even a surprise ambush... it had potential. He'd been underutilising it.

Then came Abyssal Soul.

The Abyssal Soul had also upgraded quite a bit. The percentage bar had gone up from 8% he had after completing his trial to 10%.

He still didn't understand what that percentage was about. He didn't feel any changes happening within himself.

What would happen if it reached a hundred?

His question would only be answered by time itself. So he focused on other improvements.

The storage capacity of spells had increased to five spells, usable within 96 hours. Best of all, mana consumption dropped to 80%. Efficient, versatile.

Not bad.

Nothing much has changed with Spirit Domain except the increase in range from 20 m to 30 m. Still valuable in close-quarter or detection-heavy battles.

Eyes of the supreme had changed the most.

The predatory gaze had evolved. Now it was the Supreme Gaze.

It didn't just instil fear—it could show illusions of a target's worst nightmare. That opened up new doors: psychological warfare, distraction, and domination.

A smirk curled at his lips.

Just imagine… Some arrogant bastard challenges him in front of a crowd—one glance at him with this effect, and the fool starts trembling, haunted by phantoms no one else could see.

With a thought, the pitch-black blade appeared in his hand.

His fingers traced around the hilt as he muttered under his breath, "Still as elegant as ever."

The blade trembled slightly in response—as if it understood him.
