Ascension in the Apocalypse

Max rubbed his hands together with his eyes shining and quickly opened the 16 Red Boxes!

Apart from these few items, the rest are food items. At the moment, Max has gathered enough food for them to eat as much as they want without worrying for two or three months!

Max nodded in satisfaction and glanced at the description of the Minor Healing Potion...

"Shit! This Minor Healing Potion is really good!" Max couldn't help but curse when he saw the effect of the Potion.

In the apocalypse, the most deadly thing that can happen to someone is getting injured and incapacitated! Max smiled and carefully stored the Minor Healing Potions. He then took out the four Fireman's axe from the Storage Space and rubbed his chin.

"Can I fuse these four?"

As soon as he asked this question, the four Fire Axes floated into the air and a strong golden light enveloped them. Max closed his eyes and when he opened them, he saw a meter-long Black Axe floating before him.

Max's eyes lit up, he picked up the Axe with his right hand and was very surprised by its weight: "This thing weighs over 80 kilos!"

Although it was quite heavy, Max actually found the Black Axe to be very light. He stored the Axe in the Storage Space and also merged the 5 Energy Batteries, creating a large Battery with more than enough energy to power the refrigerator and a few other electronic devices for more than a week!

"Time to get some work done~" Max stretched and quickly went to install the energy battery. Fortunately, he had a lot of experience in this area so it wasn't that difficult.

The hours passed quickly and soon, the Sun rose on the horizon, illuminating the dark City. Max looked out the window and was very surprised to see the Zombies before super ferocious, walking slowly and awkwardly.

"Are they more active and stronger at night?" Max's brown eyes shone intensely and an evil smile appeared on his face.

He was very tempted to go hunting Zombies to level up, but he gave up on the idea and decided to go after breakfast...

Max continued looking at the Silent City in silence for a few more hours. He never thought that one day he would have to survive in a damn Zombie apocalypse..

"What are you thinking about?"

Max smiled after being hugged from behind by Luna and feeling her two big soft mountains pressed against his back. Max held Luna's two soft hands gently and sighed..

"Just thinking about the future.."

"Future.." Luna was silent with a somewhat heavy expression.

In this apocalyptic World, they could die at any moment! She couldn't help but be very worried about their future, especially little Lina's future. Max felt her inner turmoil and hugged her tightly.

"Don't worry~ I'll protect you both, I promise." Luna's inner turmoil calmed down a bit and she hugged Max tightly.

After a few minutes, Luna pulled away from him and straightened her dress with a red face and a soft look. "I'll make breakfast~"

Max looked  Luna's rear profile in silence with his eyes shining of pure admiration. Although she was a little too thin, Luna is still the most beautiful and graceful woman that Max has already seen.

"I'll help you." He followed her with a smile. Luna nodded and went to the kitchen with him.

The two of them made a sumptuous breakfast in less than two hours. Luna was thrilled when she saw the refrigerator working and the large amount of food inside.

Although curious, she didn't ask Max anything and just gave him a soft kiss on the lips. Max told everything he did the night before, of course, he left out the Fireman's Axe Fusion. Luana was very surprised and happy to find out that he killed 16 Zombies in less than thirty minutes, easily clearing the 6th floor.

After helping to make breakfast, Max went to pick up little Lina, who was still sleeping. Luna waited at the dining table in silence and laughed when she saw the sleepy little girl in Max's arms.

The little girl's drowsiness disappeared instantly when she saw the table full of food. Luna and Max couldn't contain themselves and laughed a lot. Little Lina blushed and devoured the food like a super cute little Glutton.

After breakfast, Max left the apartment under the reluctant look of little Lina and the worried look of Luna.

He smiled at both of them and left after promising that he would return in a few hours.

Max left the apartment and decided to first go clear the Zombies on the top floor, which in this case was the 7th. Max used the stairs to go to the 7th floor and narrowed his eyes when he saw three Zombies standing in the same place right in the middle of the hallway..

The three are above Level 1. Max summoned the Black Axe and appeared behind the Level 3 Zombie in the blink of an eye..

The Black Axe descended upon the Zombie, splitting it in half with great ease. The other two Zombies looked at Max and advanced towards him, letting out strange growls.

"The Zombies are much slower than before." Max's eyes shone brightly and a happy smile appeared on his face.

He approached the two Zombies on Level 2 and killed them, cutting off their heads so as not to make a bloody mess.

After killing the three Zombies, Max saved the Red Boxes they dropped and broke down the first door he saw. He entered the apartment and eliminated four Zombies before grabbing all the food and useful materials and moving on to the next one.

More than 10 minutes later..

Max killed the fifth Zombie in the third apartment and smiled from ear to ear when  heard the notifications. His strength increased once again, making him more confident in killed the Zombies from the building.

He gripped the handle of the Black Axe tightly and continued killing the Zombies on the 7th floor and searching for usable resources in the apartments. He killed 14 more Zombies with 3 on Level 3 and 5 Zombies on Level 2, but unfortunately Max did not find any survivors.

Max was perplexed by this fact, some of the Zombies were alone, indicating that they had turned into Zombies and were not bitten by someone infected! He felt a little uneasy after thinking about these people's terrible luck. After clearing the 7th floor, Max advanced to Level 4, increasing his strength again.

He is also very close to advancing to Level 5. With the increase in strength came a great increase in confidence. Max decided to clear the 5th floor of the building and did this to do so in less than two hours! Killing the Zombies was easy, but searching for usable resources took a long time. After eliminating the Zombies on the 5th floor, Max advanced to Level 6!

The force coursing through his body became so powerful that it left him feeling very refreshed...
