Rumors suggested that celestial beasts remained second-class citizens in heaven, perpetually serving as mounts while enduring discrimination. Returning to the monster realm elevated their status as descendants of ancient beast deities, promising brighter futures.

The Dragon Clan's Ao family pioneered this shift from celestial to monster registry. Some speculated that the monster realm actively recruited these talents due to their enhanced demonic energy. 

At the border checkpoint, expanding staff indicated grand proceedings. Mingjin and Xue Lin were stationed at the central area handling reception duties. I felt a swell of pride seeing Xue take on such responsibilities.

Elder E mentioned they belonged to the Divine Cultivation Program at Donghuang University, like Fen. This elite program trained monsters for high-level institutions such as the Realm Law Department. While ordinary Donghuang programs led to civil service roles, the Divine Cultivation track groomed future leaders. 

Fen's current operations hinted at Police Department involvement, granting him clearance for contraband investigations and access to classified intel. 

The current ceremony signified that incoming celestial beast descendants would join Donghuang's Divine Cultivation program after registry transfer. As dimensional barriers rippled, jade counters emerged on the elevated celestial side—a reminder of their enduring fixation with hierarchy.

The panda leader reverted to his stern crew-cut human form and stormed out grumpily. "Who's worth this pomp?" Mei demanded, her green-tinted nails glinting. Elder E croaked: "Grandson of Supreme Lao Jun's mount—the Azure Ox!"

Murmurs erupted. Though demoted to ox classification here, his lineage remained prestigious. Monster realm's casual taxonomy often simplified ancient names—Sì beasts became "azure ox" for resemblance, Taotie nearly classified as canine.

Mei leaned against the glass wall-turned-screen, magnifying border activities. Two jade-uniformed youths emerged from the celestial side—their counterparts to Mingjin and Xue Lin. Their divine cultivation uniforms billowed with immortal energy.

The slanted-eyed youth bore flaming crimson streaks in his black hair. His grey-haired companion exuded disdain, with smoky tendrils coiling through his locks. "Memorize these Jade Emperor University elites!" Elder E barked, as if naming archenemies. "Our Divine Cultivation's fiercest rivals!"

Students pressed against the observation wall; a spider-girl sprouted extra eyes. Elder E lectured through clenched teeth: "These immortals hunt powerful monsters in the human realm that even spirit clans can't handle. Their captures get processed here—remember, celestial border handles major cases while human border deals with minor ones."
