America Tycoon: The Wolf of Showbiz

Chapter 818 - 811: Barking Dogs Seldom Bite

"Gisele?" Leonardo wasn't drunk yet, or else he might have started crying and shouting about his great love," he asked, "Are you sure?"

Martin replied, "I couldn't have been mistaken, it was Gisele Bundchen, and it seemed like she was with a Brazilian woman."

Hearing that name, Leonardo's expression suddenly sagged.

Martin quickly reminded him, "Don't cry here, it would be really embarrassing, Jack and I would be embarrassed with you. You wouldn't want the famous trio to become a laughingstock across America, would you?"

Leonardo sighed, picked up the bottle, poured himself a drink, and downed it in one go.

Taylor, Carly, and Blake were utterly confused. Leonardo, who was even more of a playboy than Martin, had such a side?

And there was Martin, the friend who mercilessly sets his own friend up.

For a moment, Leonardo was dispirited.

Martin gently tapped on the table and said, "If you want to go see, go ahead. We'll handle Rihanna."

Leonardo shook his head, "Forget it, I don't want to see." He made up his mind, "It's all in the past now, I don't care about her anymore."

With no drama unfolding, Martin couldn't help but feel a bit disappointed, but he didn't say anything more.

Taylor leaned in and whispered, "Is this how you guys normally interact?"

"Yeah," Martin said, "When the three of us have no one else to mess with, we mess with each other."

"Like the Oscar century problem?" Taylor asked.

Martin nodded, "Exactly."

Taylor thought to himself, what a strange friendship.

Is men's friendship always this weird?

At that moment, Rihanna came back, Carly and Blake had drunk quite a bit and went together to the restroom.

On the way, the two spotted Gisele Bundchen in a booth.

The nearly-top supermodel in the world was drinking and chatting with a few men and women, one of whom seemed to be the Canadian pop star, Justin Bieber who had risen to fame in recent years.

Justin Bieber also noticed the two women looking this way and nudged his Canadian fellow Ryan Reynolds, "Look, beauties."

Ryan Reynolds turned his head and immediately saw two very tall women.

One, almost as tall as him, but overly thin.

The other, viewed from the side, had an explosively good figure.

It was clear the two were headed for the restroom.

Brazilian singer Claudia remarked, "Hey, it's not polite to check out other people in front of ladies."

Justin, his hands full of tattoos, grinned, "Forgive us this time, Ryan was just dumped."

Claudia turned to Gisele Bundchen and asked, "What do you say?"

Perhaps everyone has a different taste. Gisele was surrounded by men similar to Leonardo or Tom Brady, all debonair in appearance. Justin Bieber's street thug style must have held a unique charm in her eyes.

She smiled and said, "I'm a fan of Justin. As a fan, I unconditionally support my idol."

Ryan Reynolds adjusted his clothes and took out a breath freshener, sprayed a few times into his mouth, and asked, "How do I look now?"

Justin praised, "You look great. Tonight at the club, besides me, you're the handsomest."

"Watch me," Ryan said, turning his head toward the hallway leading to the restroom.

A few minutes later, Carly and Blake Lively turned the corner from the restroom area.

Their high heels clacked rhythmically on the floor.

Ryan Reynolds watched them approach, his gaze fixed on the explosively figured Blake Lively.

For some reason, he felt like this woman was exactly his type.

From her face to her figure to her aura, she was totally his style.

At that moment, Ryan even felt like love had descended.

So, when Blake Lively got closer, he stood up, positioned himself in front of the two women.

"Good evening, Blake," Ryan recognized her, flashed his brightest smile, and fished out his phone, "I'm a huge fan of Queen S, can we take a photo together?"

Blake stopped two meters away and even took a step back.

Carly Kloss observed Ryan with interest.

But Blake had no interest at all; this style of approach was something she had discarded along with Martin.

"Sorry, now is my private time," Blake recognized him, she had almost co-starred with him in "Green Lantern," and immediately said, "Please don't disturb me and my friends' gathering."

Ryan, however, did not step aside, graciously inviting, "My friends and I are also having a gathering, why not join us?"

Blake followed his indicated direction and saw Gisele Bundchen, who Martin and Leonardo had talked about earlier, and couldn't help but be curious.

Seeing her expression change, Ryan thought Blake was interested and said, "Let me introduce you..."

Blake, slightly smiling, cut him off, "Thanks, but no thanks."

"Oh, that's okay, then I won't bother you," Ryan wasn't so easily deterred, "Blake, will you be in New York for a while? I have a few gatherings, can I invite you?"

This was him asking for contact details. Blake's patience was running thin, she directly refused, "I'm here for work in New York, I don't have time."

She tried to walk by, but the bar's corridor was narrow, Ryan stood right in the middle, blocking the way.

Blake said, "Please make way."

Ryan persisted, "Could we exchange contact information...?"

Blake frowned, utterly annoyed by the persistent hassle, and turned to circumvent through another aisle.

But the relentless Justin Bieber suddenly popped up, blocking the other side.

Because of the angle, Carly Kloss hadn't noticed Justin Bieber before; now that he appeared, she immediately tiptoed and waved toward their booth.

The girl, nearly 1.9 meters tall, was quite an eye-catcher.

Martin was still engaging in his usual banter with Leonardo.

Taylor looked up just in time to see Carly Kloss waving their way and immediately pulled Martin, "Carly and Blake seem to be in trouble."

Martin noticed too and got up to walk over, saying, "There's trouble."

Although Leonardo often shared in mocking digs with Martin, he followed without a second thought upon encountering such a situation.

Taylor and Rihanna also followed behind the two men.

Bruce, sitting alone at a table, drifted over like a ghost.

When Martin turned into that aisle, he saw Justin Bieber and another male actor with his back to him.

The man seemed to perceive someone approaching from behind and turned his head.

Martin recognized him immediately, the Green Lantern!

He was blocking Blake and Carly.

He strode forward quickly, saying, "Hey, buddy, blocking ladies is not something a gentleman should do."

Justin, seeing Martin and noticing Taylor, didn't back down, "We're just inviting them for a drink."

"Please get out of the way," Martin slightly exerted his shoulder to push Ryan Reynolds aside, positioning himself in front of Blake.

Ryan's body tilted and he hastily supported himself on a table. He wasn't careful and pressed down on a glass of wine, which fell and shattered into pieces, the spilled liquid staining his white pants and new leather shoes.

That ticked him off.

Before he could steady himself, Leonardo bumped into him again.

Ryan, still off-balance, nearly toppled over.

Subsequently, the two tall women, one black and one white, completely ignored him.

Martin didn't bother with that over-the-top jerk and asked Blake, "You alright?"

Blake shook his head, whispering, "Just two guys hitting on us out of the blue."

Martin grabbed her by one hand and Carly Kloss by the other, signaling to the three people who followed, "Let's go."

But Leonardo stopped in his tracks, realizing he had seen a very familiar face when he bumped Ryan. Turning again, he saw Gisele Bundchen.

Clearly, Gisele was sitting at a table drinking with these two jerks.

When Justin Bieber noticed Leonardo staring straight at Gisele Bundchen, his impudent temperament emerged, took a slight step forward, leaning into Leonardo's broad, corpulent body to hide his smaller figure, and whispered, "She tastes pretty good, I've had a try."

Leonardo turned back, glancing at Justin Bieber.

This guy's appearance was just the type of trashy punk in his eyes, like someone who had sniffed too much in the streets and might drop dead at any moment.

Justin, feeling he had struck a nerve with Leonardo, added, "She's very wet."

Leonardo hadn't been provoked like this in many years and, unable to contain himself, swung his fist.

Justin, prepared, raised his hand to block Leonardo's arm.

Although shorter than Leonardo, Justin, a regular street dancer, was not lacking in strength, and for a time, Leonardo couldn't get the upper hand.

It must be said, Leonardo was a bit flabby.

"Stop fighting! Stop it!" Ryan Reynolds, the closest, went over to break it up.

A barking dog doesn't bite; this guy forcefully pulled Leonardo's arm.

Justin immediately freed himself from the scuffle and swung his fist toward Leonardo.

But before his punch could land, he felt his shoulder being pushed, and he stumbled several steps away.

Martin pushed Justin Bieber aside and faced Ryan Reynolds, "Let Leo go."

Ryan immediately let go, looking innocent, "I just didn't want them to start fighting, nothing more."

Martin was about to say something when Gisele Bundchen, standing up from the booth in shock, said, "Leo, what are you doing?"

The still agitated Leonardo, wanting to hit Justin, paused.

Justin straightened up, turned back, and taunted Leonardo, "Come on!"

Leonardo glanced at Gisele Bundchen and said to Martin, "Let's just go."

Ryan quickly said, "Sorry, folks, this is all just a misunderstanding..."

Martin and Leonardo, along with their group, left without looking back.

As they walked, Leonardo said to Martin, "I'm going to kill that Canadian bastard!"

Martin responded, "Call someone."

Understanding Martin's intent, Leonardo took out his cellphone and called Nicholson.

Meanwhile, Gisele Bundchen, not quite pleased, parted ways with Claudia to leave.

Justin Bieber went to see off the two women.

Ryan Reynolds, left alone, got in his car, pulled out his phone, and dialed Jon Berg, saying, "I just ran into Martin Davis at Club 54 because of Justin Bieber, and a small conflict occurred."

Jon Berg replied, "Let's meet tomorrow."
