A God Killed Me By Accident, But I Reincarnated As The 4th Son Of The Marquis

Volume 14 Chapter 25: What Are These?

Volume 14 Chapter 25: What Are These?

Keith and Krystal. The two were outliers: Krystal would be the next head of a household, so shouldn't she select the general course? Keith was in a similar situation. Moreover, he was a business owner, and the general course helped with that.

"I learn through hands-on experience. There's no need for me to take the course." Krystal learned a lot through trial and error. Edmund had been teaching her even before attending the academy.

That one incident between Edmund and Rodrick was a great learning experience.

"And I don't need it; I'm already a famous and well-off business owner."

"Tch! So lucky!" No arguments there. He was rich, and there was no point in him taking the class.

Keith stretched his hands into the air, “Until the time comes, I’m going to hang out here!” Keith twirled Eri in the air with happiness as the child giggled.

"How about we go out and have some fun, Eri?" There was no need for him to stay here.

"Okay!" Eri nodded as she hugged him.

...

“Alright, we’re going to be heading out now. You guys have to be safe as well.” Keith patted Eri’s head; it was time for the three to head to the location.

"Have a safe trip!" "Bye!" Fira waved as she was held in Eri's arms.

Keith got on top of Knight while Jack and Krystal did the same for their horses. Jack commented, "I'm surprised that Eri took it so well. She was really calm as she waved.

"That's because I bought her off with sugar and candies." Keith was prepared and scared at the same time. He had given her a lot of candy to make her forget the idea that he would be gone for a week.

Heading over to the city gates, he saw Coen and the others. Keith waved his hand, “Are you guys ready?”

“Mmhmm!” Helm patted his shoulders, “I’ve prepared as much equipment as possible!” Preparation was key to this situation. As Keith continued talking with them, Tennol arrived, “All of you come over here; the assistant instructors and I will be checking over all the things you’ve brought here.”

Keith and the others took out what they had. That was when the situation unfolded.

“Why are you bringing such a lavish tent?” An assistant instructor stared at the student.

“I'm entering the dungeon. I need a good place to sleep.” The assistant instructor shook his head, “I’m confiscating this.”

A dreary tent was then brought out. He was not the only one who was getting everything changed. More and more students’ items were being taken away.

“What’s this?” That question was now directed to Jack. What was taken out was a bag full of cookies.

Jack explained, “Rations.”

“...Rations? This looks more like treats?” That was most certainly the case in this situation! While he was being hounded down, Keith was also brought before an instructor.

“Why are you bringing spices with you?” There was salt, pepper, and other types of spices.

Keith explained, “I need them to increase the taste of my food. Rations can only go so far. It's essential to have a perfectly balanced meal to fight more efficiently."

“...Fine. But you need to use this tent instead.” The assistant instructor couldn’t deny his answer. Keith nodded as all of his items were pretty much good. Once he was finished with his inspection, he turned to Krystal and Jack.

"What did they take from you?"

"My muffins," Krystal muttered as she had a dark look. Most of the food that she had brought was taken away.

"What's with your face?" Jack had crumbs around his lips.

"I ate all of them on the spot before they could take it away." Jack shoved all of the cookies into his mouth before the instructor could do so.

"..." The two were speechless.

“Alright, let’s go now. Follow us.” Keith and the others followed the instructors. They walked to the center of the forest.

Only trees surrounded them and nothing more. Tennol then explained, "You only have one objective; survive in this forest for one week. We will not be helping you at all. In addition, if you guys can take down monsters, it will also bolster your grades.”

“...” I see, so that’s what it was. The final was simple enough. Tennol clapped his hands together, “Now break! Come to the instructors, and they will teleport you all to different locations to start out!”

“Understood!” The knights nodded. “Good luck out there, Keith.”

“Mmhmm, You too.” Slowly, their bodies glowed as they disappeared. That was when Keith looked around and only saw the forest.
