A God Killed Me By Accident, But I Reincarnated As The 4th Son Of The Marquis

Volume 1 Chapter 18: First Words 

"We need to discuss something." One day, William brought all family members into his office. They weren't the only ones there. Carter and the maids were there. 

As William began, a sense of anticipation filled the room, "I've gathered you all here because Keith will have his birthday in a couple of days." 

"We know." Everyone knew a year had passed since Keith was born. And they were all anxious. Their youngest's first birthday was like a ticking time bomb! 

That was because they all wondered what they should do about it! 

"This won't be a normal birthday. It will also be Keith's introduction as well." William added with a calm expression. He and Sophia decided this long ago. 

"How many people will be attending?" Sophia asked. 

"Everyone in the northern region will attend this party."

"What about the king?"

"..." That calm expression William had tensed up. 

Sophia blinked a few times, "Are you serious?" William nodded, 

"King Julius will be coming here as well." He clutched his head. The king was coming here to meet with his son. That alone was enough to cause a headache. 

"Everyone, I want this party to be perfect." That was why he called everyone here. He turned to Carter, 

"Carter, I want you to set up the venue hall immediately. That is your first priority." 

"Understood." Carter nodded. William turned to May and the other maids, "Your job is to distract Keith."

"Understood." May and the maids nodded. However, May added, 

"The Marquis and Marchioness not coming may make the young master suspicious." William and the rest had been meeting with Keith frequently now. And Keith was sharp. He would find it suspicious if they didn't come. 

William nodded, "We'll have rotations. Sophia will go first, then Eric, Alvin, Derek, and me last."

The rest of the family nodded. William gave a few more orders before getting up, "Also, I will be heading to the town."

"Hmm? Why?"

"I'm going to buy a present for my son." When William said that, the others froze. They almost forgot about this! Presents. This was a must for the youngest. The maids went into deep thought about what to get him. 

"I'm coming with you," Sophia declared. There was no way he was going to get something better than her! And that was what William thought as well! The two were in a stare-down, not wanting to lose!

"We want to go too!" Eric and the rest chimed in! And like that, the family was going on a group trip. Carter and the other maids moved as well.
