Volume 1 Chapter 13: Strength Buff

I finally learned how to walk! 

A few days ago, Keith took even more steps than before. Everyone was astonished when they saw his action! Their eyes almost popped out when they saw it! 

"Keith, you got this!"  "Good job, Little Brother!"

Sophia and his other brothers clapped their hands, encouraging him to walk. But that lasted a few seconds before he fell down!

And that was why he was being held by Sophia again. The two were outside, getting fresh air. As they were, the group heard the sounds of shouting!

"HA!" The sound was strong enough to cause a vibration!

What's going on? Keith tilted his head in wonder. Sophia smiled, "Do you want to see your brothers train?

Train? This is a knight and magic world! Keith nodded, and Sophia smiled even more. The maids and they headed towards the barracks. 

It was full of knights, and they were training hard. 

They swung their swords down in a rhythmic fashion! They all stopped when they noticed Sophia. She raised her hand,

"Carry on with what you're doing. Pay us no mind." They sat down under a tree.  

While they watched the knights, the knights did the same. Some of them started to murmur. 

"So that's the famous fourth son."

"I heard that his cheeks can soothe people."

"I even heard that he can charm people."

Well, all the talk was directed toward Keith. What am I hearing?! He turned to Sophia and May. The two had proud expressions while the other maids nodded at the knights' statements. 

"Why are you guys standing here?!" A thunderous roar caused the knights to immediately shut up! The man stood straight with a dark expression. He was much taller and bulkier than the rest. The aura of the strong. That was the effect he had on the rest. Glaring at the knights, 

"It seems you guys have a lot of free time. Today, you all will be fighting 1 on 10!"

"Eh?"

"Those who can't accomplish this will be running 100 laps around the barracks!"

"!"

"..." The knights were speechless. Keith blinked a couple of times when he heard that. A 1 on 10 battle? That was insane! Who would be able to do something like that?!

One of the knights stood up and got ready to fight. Another came forward. Like that, the impossible challenge started. 

"Michael is brutal as always." Sophia sighed as she watched the scene unfold. She made it sound like this event was a usual occurrence. And there was nothing to say about the outcome. 

That one knight couldn't handle it after he faced his sixth opponent. 

Keith continued to watch them. His expression brightened when the next person came up. It was Eric! He was wearing battle gear as he raised his sword, 

"Please advise!" He stared at his opponent. Without a second later, he dashed toward him! The battle between the two was intense. Eric continued his fierce onslaught without a thought! 

And it worked. 

With his fierce attacks, Eric defeated seven of his opponents. Although he beat his opponents, his fierceness could only go so far. 

"Tch!" Eric was on the defensive as the knight attacked. When the knights saw that, they knew Eric was going to lose. He wasted all his stamina in the first half. 

"Ah! Ah!" While that happened, Keith screamed from the sidelines. Sophia and the rest stared at him. But it was nothing compared to the expression Eric had. I can't lose! 

With that, the power boost happened!

The knight was surprised! What in the world?! It was too late as Eric took the opening and slashed at his side! 

"You lost." Those were the only words that came out of Eric's mouth. The knight raised his hands up in defeat. The others murmured, 

"Didn't Young Master Eric lose all his stamina?"

"How did he push him back?!"

Eric turned to where Keith was. He saw his brother clapping at his victory. A smile formed on Eric's face. He placed his thumb up. Turning to the next knight, "Sorry. But I can't lose."

"Eh?" 

Eric didn't hesitate as he dashed toward the knight again! This craziness was something the others never expected!  

How much stamina does that kid have?!

It didn't take long before Eric defeated the rest of his opponents. The child huffed as he stabbed his sword into the ground.

Michael nodded, "Good job, Eric. You can take a rest now."

"Understood." Eric nodded as he quickly dashed away. The place he headed towards was Sophia and Keith. 

Before he could take action, Sophia stopped him, "Wash your hands first before you hold Keith."

Eric rolled around on the ground as he fought. 

Sophia snapped her fingers, and a ball of water appeared in front of Eric. May handed a towel to Eric. After wiping off the grime and dirt, he hugged Keith, "Little Brother, do you like how I fought?"

"Ah!" That was awesome! Keith found what he did cool. As Eric and Keith talked, 

"So lucky!" "I'm going to end it too." 

While Eric was having the time of his life, Alvin and Derek had dark expressions as they stared with envy. They wanted to hang out with the youngest.

The knights tilted their heads as they watched their determined expressions. A rumble. That was what they wanted. 

"..." "..." The two stared at the knights, ready to fight!
