Volume 1 Chapter 11: Holding Him

As that happened, Keith was being bottle-fed right now. May had a happy expression as she held Keith. The young master is so cute! She couldn't help but watch him. And she wasn't alone as the maids stared at him in awe. 

While they were lost in thought, Keith was thinking about something.

Did Aria leave the room after not seeing him? He realized Aria might have come to his room while he was away. After Keith was finished, he was placed into his crib. 

As he was deeply thinking about Aria, Sophia entered the room. She wasn't alone as three other people were with her. Alvin was one of them. The other two looked to be the same age as him. One older, one younger.

"Keith." Sophia had a mellow voice as she patted Keith's head. She turned to the other three, "Keith, these two are your elder brothers." 

"Hello, I'm your elder brother Eric." Eric greeted first. He was the spitting image of William. Eric had both the same hair and eye color as him. He looked like a younger version of his father. 

"And I'm your third brother, Derek." Derek greeted cooly. He was the inverse of Keith. He had blonde hair and blue eyes. 

"Ah!" Keith babbled as he raised his hand into the air. That caused Eric and Derek to tilt their heads, 

"Does he understand us, Mother?" 

Sophia and Alvin nodded, "Yes. Keith understands the words we're saying." 

"That's impossible. How could a baby understand what we're saying?" Derek found it odd.

"It's because Keith is a genius," Alvin proudly stated. He found it odd in the beginning. After some time, he realized it. His little brother was a genius!

"Raise your hand." Derek wanted to test Keith. 

"Abba!" Keith followed and raised his hand. 

"Turn your neck," 

And that was what Keith did. Before Derek could give him another order, what he got was a slap to the head by Eric.

"Stop giving him weird orders." Keith was still a baby. Making him do anything weird would strain his body. 

Big Brother is smart! Keith giggled. While he laughed, Eric tilted his head. 

Keith raised his hands up.

"Do you want to be picked up?" Keith nodded. Eric was going to pick him up. But, 

Swoop!

The one who picked him up was Alvin! Alvin smiled victorious while Eric narrowed his eyes, "What do you think you're doing?"

"You can't hug him. You haven't learned how to hug him. What if you hurt our little brother?" Alvin brought Keith closer to his face and rubbed it together with his. 

Eric and Derek's eyes narrowed as they watched Alvin. That look on his face was asking him to get hit. The two weren't the only ones; Sophia had a strained expression.

The maids wanted to hug Keith as well. But they could only glance at them in envy.

"Abu?" Do I smell gunpowder? Keith didn't know whether to laugh or cry. He did point at the ground. Seeing that, Alvin placed him down in defeat. 

Keith started to crawl around on the floor. But eventually, he came next to Sophia. 

One of the biggest smiles was plastered on Sophia's face as she picked him up, "As expected, you love Mom the best."

"..." The three stared at the two, a little envious of their relationship. Derek walked and rubbed Keith's head, 

"He's a strange one, Mother."

"Abu!" How could you call your brother strange?! 

Alvin shook his head, "You made him angry." This was a first. Keith looked like he was about to fight. Alvin patted Keith's head, 

"Keith isn't strange at all. He's special."

"..." That does not help at all.

"..." Eric was the only one silent as he stared at them. Noticing his expression, Sophia asked, 

"Eric, what's the matter?"

"...I was wondering if I could hold Keith." Eric was stuck on that. Sophia blinked a few times before a smile cracked. She walked up to him. 

"Hold his head." Sophia taught him how to properly carry him. Eric nodded as he took Keith in his hand. 

Good job, Big Brother. Keith was happy that he was able to hold him. But he was not as happy as Eric. A smile formed on his face as he glimpsed at Keith's expression. 

When Sophia saw that, she was surprised. Her eldest son was like his father. His expression was cold as he talked with others. Our youngest is incredible! As she thought about this, 

"Hey! I want to hold onto him too!" Derek was the only one who hadn't held Keith. Eric quickly moved his hand away from him. 

"You can't do it." "Huh? Why not?!" 

Eric stated, "You're too weak."

"...I can do it." 

Eric declared, "You must defeat me first in training before you can hold Keith." The three of them were taught how to use a sword.

"I'm the closest to Keith!" Alvin noted. Why did he need to beat his brother to hold him?!

When he said that, the other two quipped, "Just because you know him the longest doesn't mean you're the closest." With those words, it started an argument between the children. 

Sophia, who witnessed this scene, was a little amazed. And that was because all of them became different. Energetic and lively. Those were the words to describe them. 

Keith continued to laugh at the sight. He was amazed by how they were, but he was happy. This was a scene he wanted to watch.

"Alright now, you guys need to stop."
