Volume 1 Chapter 10: We Want To Meet Him Too

"I see." William had an undisturbed expression. He got closer to Keith and stared at him. 

Keith stared back. The two looked similar to one another. William's deep sapphire eyes reminded Keith of Aria. It was so similar to Aria's color. 

Keith found that pleasing as he smiled. William continued to stare at him. He didn't do anything but look at his son. But a frown came the next second as he turned to Sophia, 

"Isn't our fourth son a little strange?

"..." You guys are the ones who are strange! Why do people keep saying this?! Sophia shook her head, 

"Keith's not strange. He's adorable." She found him cute.  

Thank you, Mother! Keith waved his little hands to Sophia. Sophia had a small smile as she waved back. 

"...I see." William didn't say anything as he left. Sophia sighed in relief when she saw that. But she found it strange. William wasn't the talkative sort. 

While Sophia was in deep thought, Keith cried out. Sophia bent her body down, 

"What's the matter?" 

There, there, Mother. Keith kissed Sophia's cheeks. Sophia patted Keith's head, "Are you trying to comfort me? Thank you so much." She found her youngest to be the most adorable. She hugged Keith tightly. 

A thought came to her mind, "How about I sleep here with you today?"

Keith blinked a couple of times. There's only a crib here? There was nowhere for her to sleep. Don't tell me she's planning to sleep in the crib with me? Because that was not going to work! It would be too cramped. 

Sophia turned to May, "May, I will sleep with Keith in the room next door."

May nodded, "I will prepare the sheets."

Oh, thank goodness. Keith sighed in relief. But a thought came to his mind. There's a room next door? 

Sophia smiled as she continued to play with Keith until the bed was prepared. 

"..." The next day, Keith woke up and stared at the ceiling. He turned to see Sophia sleeping next to him. I'm tired. The whole night, Keith was treated like a plushie as she hugged him.  

While Keith looked around, one of the maids entered the room. Noticing her, Keith waved his hand.

The maid was startled. She waved back. 

It was shy but enough. The maid walked to Sophia's side, "Madam, it's time to wake up."

"Mnh." Sophia didn't wake up. She groaned and rolled the opposite away. The maid had a wry look as if this was the usual. This was when Keith crawled up to Sophia's face.

"Ma!" Keith patted Sophia's face, trying to wake her. That caused the maid to wave her hand, 

"Young Master, you don't need to do that!" Sophia was at her worst when someone woke her up. She was not a morning person. 

The unthinkable happened. Sophia blinked a few times before cracking a smile. She patted Keith's head, "Good morning, Dear." 

"Eh!" Keith smiled while the maid was shocked by the sight. She never expected the madam to wake up so early. It would take half an hour to make her get up. 

But the young master did it in seconds!

Sophia turned to the maids, "Bring me my clothes." The maid nodded and quickly got to work. May came in a second later to take care of Keith. 

After dressing up, Sophia kissed Keith's forehead, "I'm going to have breakfast now."

"Ba!" Okay! Goodbye. 

"Hmmm, Hmmm." While Sophia walked down the hallway, there was an aura around her. It was carefree and light. She even broke into a hum. A heavy weight was off her shoulders. As she entered the dining room, she saw that everyone was there, 

"Sophia, where were you last night?" William questioned. 

Sophia sipped on her tea, "I was sleeping with Keith."

"You were?" William and the rest looked surprised. 

Sophia shrugged, "It's because Keith didn't want to be left alone. So I slept by his side."

"..." The four stared at her strangely. The way she said it sounded like she was showing off. Alvin was the only one who understood. 

Because she was! 

It worked. Alvin was jealous of his mother. He wanted to spend more time with his brother. Like that, they ate their breakfast.

"Mother, can I meet with my little brother?" Eric asked. He was curious now. William, Alvin, and Sophia all met with him. And they were different now. Especially so with Sophia and Alvin. 

Naturally, he would get curious. 

"Me too." The third child, Derek, was the same too. The two wanted to meet with him. Hearing this, Sophia nodded, "You two can meet with him later. He's eating right now."

Since William met Keith, it was only a matter of time before the others would want to do it.

Eric and Derek nodded. Alvin's face turned into a pout. They're going to take up my time with my little brother! That was the only thought as he knew what this meant.
