Chapter 92: Chapter 64: Don’t Clash with Your Brother (Part 3) Chapter 92: Chapter 64: Don’t Clash with Your Brother (Part 3) Wen Yangzhi poured tea, “Which room is she in now?”

“In your room.” The butler was a bit uncertain about the nature of their relationship.

Miss Yun had visited before, but hadn’t stated her relationship with Director Wen.

She had only recently met Miss Yun.

Moreover, she had presumptuously entered Director Wen’s room, claiming there would be no relationship.

Wen Yangzhi picked up his purple clay teacup, “And now you know?”

The butler could finally ascertain Yun Yuwan’s status, “Alright, then we won’t prepare another room.”

At the moment, Yun Yuwan sat at the island counter in Wen Yangzhi’s room, gleefully snapping photos of the ring on her hand to show off to Lin Chu.

Chuchu, “Wow, a yellow diamond, you rich beauty, let me wear it, it’s my first time seeing a yellow diamond!”

Yun Yuwan, “No.”

Chuchu, “Why not!”

Yun Yuwan, “It’s a couple’s ring that my boyfriend gave me/smirking kitty.”

Chuchu, “You two are together!”

Yun Yuwan, looking at Wen Yangzhi’s room and replying with embarrassment, “We’re living together now.”

Lin Chu on the other end took it for granted, didn’t they always live together anyway.

Unable to resist sharing, Yun Yuwan said, “This ring reminds me of the very first time I saw him, and the Maple beside him, the one I planted in the yard in Belgium, also gifted by him.”

Lin Chu had an epiphany, “Could it be he had prepared it a long time ago.”

Yun Yuwan was clearly thrilled inside, yet feigned nonchalance, almost bursting with smug satisfaction, “I don’t know, but this Maple Leaf Ring is so meaningful.”

Given Lin Chu’s inherently likeable nature since childhood, her thinking habit naturally assumed it was specially sought out by Wen Yangzhi:
“What a coincidence, to make a Maple Leaf Ring, he even found an orange-yellow diamond, I’m seeing such a color for the first time, tsk tsk, the quieter he is, the more ideas he has, it seems that he must have been holding his breath until now to write to you, he must have been suffocated.”

Yun Yuwan’s smile almost reached her temples, she flopped down onto Wen Yangzhi’s bed.

His scent still lingered on the bed, brother’s fragrance, Wen Yangzhi liked her.

Overwhelmed by excitement and joy, Yun Yuwan took a moment to look at Lin Chu’s messages, feeling like she could fly. She got up to wash her hands in the bathroom, giving herself a chance to cool down.

Her phone lay on the edge of the table.

Wen Yangzhi came in through the door, the vibration of the phone drawing his attention.

He walked over to the island counter and saw Yun Yuwan’s screen.

He watched her boast to her friend that he had custom-made the Maple Leaf Ring for her.

She spoke with confidence, and her friend on the other end expressed envy, saying how much Wen Yangzhi truly loved her.

He mentioned that he must have found the Maple Leaf colored diamond a long time ago, undoubtedly with great care.

His gaze lingered for a moment.

Wen Yangzhi’s hand reached for her phone screen.

In between breaths,
Lin Chu’s message arrived, “I used to doubt whether he liked you or not, but of course, you were never all talk.”

His hand dropped, but instead of taking the precariously placed phone at the table’s edge, he pushed it towards the center of the table, turned to undo his cufflinks and tie, as if he hadn’t seen anything, calm enough to show that he never intended to meddle in children’s affairs.

He left those messages still lit up on Yun Yuwan’s phone.

After washing her hands, Yun Yuwan came out to see Wen Yangzhi sitting on the couch smoking, turned to the side away from her.

Noticing that Wen Yangzhi had returned, she ran over to him in high spirits, but just as she threw herself on the couch beside him, his hand landed a crisp slap on her butt.

It made her frown in reflex, “Brother, why do you always spank my butt.”

Wen Yangzhi looked down at her, flicking off his cigarette ash, “Do you know how old I am?”

She was well aware, “Twenty-seven, almost twenty-eight.”

“You know I’m about to be twenty-eight, I’m not one for plain talk,” Wen Yangzhi’s distinct facial structure and the thinness of his skin, along with his demeanor, exuded a sense of mystery and uncontrollability.

She sort of understood, but not completely, puzzled like a clueless puppy, “What do you mean by plain talk?”

He simply asked, “What do you think plain talk means?”

His eyes were burning dark, and she could clearly sense danger from him, a primal, predatory male vigor, suggesting both invasion and plunder, yet he was still asking her if she accepted his jungle rules, pushing the limits.

He sat facing her, legs apart, leaning forward slightly, with his arms casually resting on his thighs, and his palms naturally hanging down.

In one hand, he held a lighter, a Shelby flip-top, his fingertips pressing it slowly turning, this posture made his shoulders look especially broad,
and the suggestion that he wanted to embrace her was particularly strong.

His gaze still evaluating her.

She distinctly felt that her brother was four years her senior.

She called out to him softly.

He continued to look at her, his eyes seemingly indifferent yet seeming to hide a wild fire raging in the night,
“Mhm.”
