Chapter 97 – Forbidden potion
"Human bandits... how are they any different from goblins?" Ogre reached out to grab the reins of the drake-blooded horse, attempting to gain control of the beast.
At this moment, Macal had already charged into the occupied village with his sword drawn.
"Was it just recently taken over?"
As he got closer, Macal noticed the villagers being held captive... and the dead guards.
Among the bodies, there were some wearing the blood-stained black robes of the Church of Dawn.

Clearly, there was a Professional among these bandits!
"Not good, a Church gray-robed knight!" The marauders finally recognized Macal's attire.
"Damn, how did he get here so fast!"
Though surprised by Macal's identity, not a single marauder retreated.
Instead, they launched an attack on him.
However, none of this affected Macal, and he even managed to counter-kill a few with the sword energy he unleashed, not even giving them a chance to scream.
This was the crushing power of a Professional over non-Professionals!
