Chapter 89 – Practicing swordplay
"Let's try sparring a bit, just like I showed you earlier." The swordplay Macal demonstrated was more of a performance than practical.
It was the kind that looked impressive with a few swings.
Of course, there were some useful tips—like where to strike to cause injury.
"Come on, Geling, if you hit me, you win." Maggie smiled as she stood in front of Ogre, raising a wooden stick.
To her, this was nothing more than a child's play.
'But it wouldn't hurt to train Geling a bit.'
Recalling the girl's shy and timid demeanor from last night, Maggie thought it might be good for Ogre to get some weapon practice.
"Hmm..."
Ogre raised the wooden stick in his hand.
Beside him, Eve picked up a stick, reminiscent of her childhood experiences.
"Come on, Eve, just like old times." Macal picked up a stick opposite her.
He had planned the itinerary for the next few days—after warming up (practicing swordplay), they'd stroll around town, and in the afternoon, maybe learn to use a slingshot.
That would fill the day, and he could also teach the girls some self-defense skills.
