Chapter 68 – Thran's condition
Before the first light of Dawn descended, the priests had already taken up the Words of the Dawn God and begun their day's preaching.
No one would have thought that beneath the grand hall of Dawn, a knight was bound.
"Ah!"
Chains restrained Thrandic's body, and the fangs in his mouth appeared and retracted continuously during this process.
"Don't let the wildness bind you, Thran." The man in the white robe raised the lantern in his hand and brought it close to Thrandic.
The light produced by the burning holy oil seemed to have a magical power, a power that could suppress negative emotions and clear the mind.
"Teacher... I'm hungry!"
Under the glow of the holy oil lantern, Thrandic seemed to regain some sanity.
The man in the white robe put down the lantern, hesitated for a moment, then extended his arm.
"Don't let the will of human flesh and blood occupy your body, don't forget who you are."
A piercing pain came from his arm, and in the next instant, a large chunk of flesh was bitten off by Thrandic.
"Teacher... why did you turn me into this..." Thrandic, having swallowed the flesh, wanted to cry—but in his current body, he couldn't even shed tears.
Blood dripped, staining the white robe red.
Yet Yard didn't care as he withdrew his arm, which had a large piece of flesh missing.
What do you think?
