Chapter 1652: Section 1653 Giant Trolls Appear
The outside commotion did not interfere with the competition; the battle within the dome continued unabated.
Trom’s energy was being consumed unceasingly, but Onassis remained calm and undisturbed, making Trom sense that something was wrong. If he kept attacking, it was very likely that he would exhaust himself first. After pondering for a moment, Trom launched another relatively weaker attack. This time, after striking, he did not dodge the rebounding force; instead, he went along with the rebound of the golden light, performing a backward somersault, and smoothly landed back on the original reef.
Trom looked at Onassis’s expression with seriousness.
Around Onassis seemed to be an impenetrable shield of light; without a way to break through, victory seemed distant and uncertain for Trom.
What should be done?
As Trom’s thoughts rapidly turned, he failed to notice that the air around him was becoming increasingly damp and muggy.
On the other hand, Onassis looked around in confusion and pondered inwardly: “The atmosphere is getting more oppressive; there’s an uneasy feeling… Should it end like this?”
“How should I end this?” Various philosophical texts flashed through Onassis’s mind.
However, while Onassis was engrossed in thought, the light suddenly dimmed, as if transitioning from day to night.
When a momentary change in visibility occurred, a thunderous “boom” resounded right by their ears.
At the same time, a bolt of lightning cut across the dark horizon, the white light spread across the sea, and the gloomy air seemed to ignite in an instant.
Trom was already on edge; the thunderclap startled him, his face slightly changing color. He abruptly looked up, suspicion flashing in his eyes, staring at the wandering low clouds in the sky.
Onassis’s expression changed too—not from fear, but because his brow was twitching, as if a great terror was approaching.
What do you think?
