After a silence, Sinistra was the first to break it: “It must be Asaz! Only he is capable of this extent!”

“He’s got some nerve, daring to turn Kavoline into a live ingredient!”

Sinistra clenched her fists, her face dark, the vines wrapped around her gossamer robe, which once bloomed with magnificent white flowers, were now withering, sprouting black thorny flowers exuding an icy chill.

Others agreed with Sinistra’s words. Kavoline had fallen into a coma not long after the competition with Asaz, and Greya’s diagnosis was that someone was intending to turn Kavoline into live ingredients, meaning it must have been done by a Gourmet Sorcerer.

Although Sinistra is also a Gourmet Sorcerer, given her relationship with Kavoline, she would not do such a thing. Even if Sinistra really had the intention to harm Kavoline, she had plenty of opportunities and didn’t need to choose this moment to act.

“If she were completely transformed, it would likely be very difficult to save her. But as it stands, saving her shouldn’t be a problem.”

Hearing Greya say so, Sinistra touched her chest and breathed a sigh of relief.

Thankfully, her intuition told her to rush over without delay, otherwise in another hour, it would indeed be beyond help.
