[VRMMO] Chaos Doctor

"…How is the situation going?" – asked the vampire general on top of the wall.

"Sir! We spotted an massive group of the heavily armored dwarves marching towards us alongside multiple weapons that resembles giant cannons and even metallic golems emitting smoke from their back." – said the vampire solider before handing over the telescope to the vampire general.

(Those are the dwarven elites.) – though the vampire general while using the telescope.

(And quiet great in numbers as well. Well, not really in huge number, their army is small, but even so, each one of those dwarves are armed to the teeth and they are also brining in their own war machines, meaning that even though this army is small in numbers, they are still strong like hell.)

(I though these dwarves would just stay holed up in their own kingdom…. But I guess the situation is so dire that they don't have any option left and are forced to come here.)

"Do not underestimate the dwarves." – said general while putting down the telescope.

"We maybe outnumber them, but these are elite solders that also have their war machines with them."

"Set up our cannons and tanks for the….?"

(Wait, why did they stopped?) – though the vampire general as he could realized that the dwarves had stopped moving, causing him to pick up the telescope back again and take a look, only to see the dwarves now operating the giant cannons.

"DEPLOY BARRIERS AND GET SOME COVER!" – shouted general.

Vampires began deploying barriers in hurry as soon as the command was given and moments later an sound of explosions could be heard happening from the distance.

General stared as several burning sphere came flying towards the walls from the great distance before then finally making contact with the walls and the magic barriers, exploding and creating giant burst of fire with each blast that sets the entire areas on fire.

"?!"

(What the hell?! Cannons don't have that kind of range usually!) – though the vampire general.

(And what is this fire?! This ain't magic?! Alchemy?!)

(Fuck me….. The enemy is out of our range as well…. But if they continue bombarding like this, the city will be destroyed!)

"Hunter. Do your job."

"Got it." – said Hunter before diving into the shadows.

"These vampires are pathetic." – said fully armored dwarf.

"I guess their weapons don't have the same reach as ours."

"And that is the thing we will use." – said the dwarf in the golden and black armor that appears to be the one leading the army.

"Bombard the entire city, turn it to ashes."

"Huh? But weren't we suppose to take back the city?" – asked the dwarven soldier.

"Idiots. The vampires eradication is worth it. Just destroy everything." – said the dwarf leader.

"Prepare next volley!"

The cannons were loaded up with the giant spheres that looked like they were made out of ash, before then giant cannons aimed up and fired, creating an sound of the large explosion as giant sphere of fire began flying towards the castle walls, bombarding them.

"…"

(Dammit. I really like to use my bike right now…. But if they see me using that thing, I will just end up being blasted.) – though Thanatos as she ran inside her shadow, trying to get to the dwarves.

(Dammit! Why the hell he couldn't make me an bike that I could use inside the shadows?!)

["DO YOU FUCKING THINK I KNOW HOW TO DO THAT?!"] – Phantasia reply.

The dwarves loaded the third volley into their cannons, opening fire and causing the barriers surrounding the city to completely be destroyed and let the waves of fire enter city, causing it to spread everywhere.

"!"

"Shit! We holed up as long as possible! Prepare for the move out!" – shouted the vampire general as the fire spread inside the city.

"…."

"!"

"General. The city gates are being opened. The vampire are on the move." – said the dwarf with googles.

"Hmph. Make sense. They don't wish to be burned alive and so they are forced to leave their hiding spot." – said dwarf general.

"Prepare another volley. We can blast them one more time and this time directly."

"You hear the man! Prepare another volley already!" – shouted dwarf soldier.

The dwarves began lifting up then ashen sphere and started to load them.

"GET READY AND- "

The cannons began getting prepared, but out of a blue, one of the cannons suddenly fired and not towards vampires, but instead right behind the dwarves, blasting the dwarves and setting the entire area on fire.

"!?"

"HEY! WHAT ARE YOU IDIOTS DOING?!" – shouted the dwarf general as he quickly ran through the flames and towards the cannon rear.

"?!"

The dwarf looked as he saw the cannon operators beheaded, alarming the dwarf.

"ENEMY! ENEMY ATTACK IS HERE!" – shouted the dwarf general, alarming the dwarfs with started to look around, trying to find the enemy.

However, while the dwarves were focused on fading the enemy, one of the cannons suddenly exploded, setting the area on fire as well as hitting several dwarfs near the cannon.

"?!"

"SHIT! CANNONS! THE ENEMY IS AIMING AT OUR CANNONS! DEFEND THEM!" – shouted the dwarven general as the dwarf began running towards their cannons, looking for the enemy while guarding them.

"?!"

"SIR! ENEMY ATTACK! FROM THE CITY!" – shouted the dwarf with the googles as the tanks were quickly closing in distance before then opening fire, unleashing the magic projectiles with forced the dwarves to use their golems as shields and have them take the attack instead of them.

"CANNONS! USE THE CANNONS!" – shouted the general.

"B-but sir! We still can't find the enemy!" – said the dwarven soldier.

"JUST DO IT YOU IDIOT! THEY CANNOT DO ANY ATTACKS NOW!" – shouted the furious general.

The cannons took aim at the incoming tanks and the barrage was about to commence.

However right as it was about to, Hunter leaped out of the shadows with her scythe in hand, ready to strike the cannon operators.

But before she could, the dwarven general leaped at the Thanatos and rammed into her midair, knocking her down to the ground and completely destroying her…. With satisfied the general.

"?!"

However, moments later the general saw as the Thanatos body turned into black liquid before then turning into shadows.

"?!"

(Dummy?!) – though the general as he realize that the thing he killed was an fake.

"?!"

"ENEMY! ENEMY IS NEAR CANNON D!" – shouted dwarven soldier, alarming the dwarf general as he turned around and saw the dwarfs fighting somebody in the distance.

Hunter had killed the dwarven operators and was fighting with the dwarves.

However, moments later Hunter managed to push back the dwarves with her scythe before then diving into the shadows, but not before not leaving an barrel like device behind the cannon.

"?!"

"GET OUT OF THERE! NOW!" – shouted the dwarf general that realized what the barrel was as exactly seconds later, the barrel exploded, blowing up cannon and causing an massive explosion that completely destroyed the cannon.

"!"

"SHIT! WHERE IS IT?! WHERE IS THAT BITCH?!" – shouted furious dwarfed general before then getting hit by the explosion of magic out of a blue, knocking down the dwarf to the ground.

"?!"

The dwarf quickly gotten up and when he did, he instantly looked in the direction of the city, spotting the tanks now being in the perfect location as they started their barrage from afar while the vampire soldiers were using that chance to catch up to the tanks and slowly close the distance between them and the dwarfs.

"Shit! Golems! Prepare for the close combat!"

"You! Shut down the cannons and move them out of the way!"

"?!"

"De-activate the cannons?!" – asked confused dwarven soldier.

"YES YOU IDIOTS! SHUT THEM DOWN!" – shouted the dwarf general.

"The enemy wants us to focus on the cannons while in reality we need to focus on the vampires!"

"Just shut them down and move them away!"

"We can't use them now anyway since the enemies are way too close to us! They were just buying fucking time!"

"…"

(Huh…. I though he wouldn't catch on…. But he instantly figured out my plan?!) – though shocked Thanatos.

(Still, it's better if I stick with the cannons, since they may end up using them again.)

The dwarves deactivated the cannons emitting the fire, causing them to extinguish themselves, while moving the cannons away.

While the cannons were being moved out, the mechanical golems began blowing fire from their bodies while the dwarves began taking on battle positions.

"TAKE THEM DOWN! GLORY TO THE HAMMER! GLORY TO THE SMITH! DESTORY THEM!" – shouted the dwarven general as the army of the dwarves and the golems began rushing towards the vampires while the tank were firing their shots at the army, bombarding them, but not successful as the golems took on the attacks, protecting the dwarves while being visible damaged from the shots.

The tanks began moving away, retreating while the army of the vampires run past them, rushing towards the dwarfs.

"Kill these bastards! Drink these drunkards blood dry!" – shouted vampire general while riding his motorcycle that had three spears sticking out from the front and from the two sides.

The two armies rushed at each other and now, the dwarven and the vampire armies had clashed, starting the clash.
