Vampire Summoner's Rebirth: Summoning The Vampire Queen At The Start

I felt my own heart explode into flames and engulf me completely.

It was perhaps too surprising even for someone like me, as I glanced at Oten for a second.

For that moment, I believed she had betrayed me or something, or that the Outer Gods were trying to take me down because I might be a menace.

"Y-You…! What are you doing?! Ugh…!"

"B-Blake?!"

Braveblitz and everyone else panicked, rushing to my side.

"Calm down."

Oten's voice suddenly paralyzed everyone.

"Worry not, I am not betraying you or something, Blake. I know you're a cunning vampire deep down. We are well aware of your previous existence as Asmodeus after all."

"S-So that's how it is…"

"You're undergoing your Heart's Evolution. I told you it would be painful. For the evolution to be completed, the heart must be destroyed using the power of its internal divine draconic energy."

"R-Really?"

"Yes. An through the energy of your heart's explosion, you will harness the power of the stars and channel it into the small void created through the explosion."

"T-The stars…? Ugh…!"

In that moment, I started falling unconscious, until I ended closing my eyes involuntarily, and the darkness embraced my consciousness.

"Ah…!"

When I finally opened my eyes, I found myself floating within an endless cosmos.

My body was gone, as I was nothing but an ethereal being.

The darkness encompassing me, the endless sea of stars.

It wasn't that strange to me.

In my previous life, I traveled through it all, far and wide.

And yet, I always thought I never traveled through everything.

There was still so much I wanted to travel through and explore.

And yet, because of the many things that happened, my long journey ended being cut short, as I battled an impossible foe, and perished.

Now, given a second chance and seeing this cosmos again, similarly than in the trial, it made me feel rather nostalgic.

Remember the times I traveled inside of my starship with my entire vampire family, from planet to planet, battling foe after foe.

Sometimes we lost, other times we won, it was never a consistent thing until we became so powerful it was hard for anybody to oppose us.

After all, life is made up of both successes and failures, but if you keep persevering, there will be a time when you'll learn to not commit as many failures.

And in that cruel galaxy, I had to learn to become stronger, forging my very body and mind for many years.

Until I obtained so much power I was able to go against the universe's largest menace, and almost defeat them all.

But that is in the past either way.

Now, what am I doing here?

This feels like…

FLASH! FLASH! FLASH! FLASH!

"Hm?!"

Suddenly, the stars around me began glowing brightly, releasing bright starlight, beams that reached my very heart.

"T-This is…?!"

I finally realized what I was doing here. I was absorbing the light of the stars to evolve my Dragon Heart even further.

So that's how it's done? It is perhaps even crazier than I originally thought.

The light overflowed through my body, as I felt the "void" left within my heart to fill.

As this happened, I felt flesh being remade, wrapping together- no, this was muscle.

A new heart was being formed within my ethereal body, rapidly absorbing the cosmic starlight within my surroundings.

And as this happened, the divine draconic spiritual energy flames, the fire created from my divine dragon heart exploding swirled together within the empty hole, filling it up.

The heart rapidly formed, and then unified, forming a crystalized, scaled exterior of blue, gold, and red color, shining like a nebula.

FLUOOOSH!

As this happened, I felt like I was once more being pulled back where I came from.

Was I here only briefly for this to be completed?

Then that's-

"HOW INTERESTING."

"Huh?!"

As I was being pulled back, an immense force emerged amidst the stars, a voice reverberating across the cosmos.

The stars suddenly aligned, creating a constellation in the shape of a gigantic dragon.

"YOU, SOMEONE FROM A SEALED WORLD… OBTAINING THE POWER OF A COSMIC DRAGON HEART?"

"Y-You're…?!"

And in that moment, several more constellations aligned, the endless stars in the cosmos coming together through starlight rays.

Then, several dragons made of such shapes emerged, existing within a different plane than my own, glaring at me amidst thousands of stars.

"HOW COULD THIS BE POSSIBLE?"

"WHO IS HE?"

"A MERE MORTAL- NO! A GOD OF SOME KIND?"

"THAT IS NOT A GOD… HIS PRESENCE ALONE IS STRANGE AND TWISTED!"

"IMPOSSIBLE, JUST WHERE DID HE COME FROM?!"

"YOU! WHERE ARE YOU GOING?!"

The gigantic claws made of stars rushed towards me, as the countless dragons of all shapes and sizes attempted to stop me from descending.

"Ah, shit!"

I really thought they would have gotten me, but then…

CRAAASH!

As I heard a loud rumbling sound, I opened my eyes, realizing I was back.

Whatever they did, it seemed to not affect me or this world, thankfully.

"Ah!"

As I gasped for air, I saw strange blue and golden flames flowing through my body, they had small sparkles of red and black colors, resembling dark stars within the flames.

These were… cosmic flames?

"Sorry for the inconvenience, Blake. But the work is done. Your [Divine Dragon Heart] Skill has successfully evolved."

"So this power I feel…? It is part of its evolution?"

I somehow felt incredibly lightweight.

Just what did I become now?

"Yes, you're only in the beginning stages. But I suppose you saw them, those aligned stars in the shape of dragons."

"What are those? I don't ever remember seeing them at all in my previous life…"

"Those were Cosmic Dragons, powerful beings that exist beyond the stars. They usually never intervene with anything whatsoever. But your presence might have alerted them."

"Such beings exist? And what are their functions in the universe anyway?"

"They're powerful Guardians, they ensure the Universe is not invaded by Outer Gods that desire chaos and destruction."

"What? So they're the Guardians of this Universe?! And I obtained a Dragon Heart from such beings?"

"Well, why don't you see for yourself?"
