The Xenoid roared with all his soul and power into it, his entire body erupted with his innate energies, without accepting his defeat, even as his body was covered on deadly wounds, he let it all out, the pure Essence of his Path, the Essence of the Dao of the Blade.

FLAAASH!

A Xenoid, a monstrous creature that had always engulfed everything and had no proper mind of their own, almost unintelligent, driven by instincts, a monstrous worm-like creature.

This was how the world- no, the universe itself saw them, and none of them were wrong. And yet, one among them was born different.

He sought greater things, he always tried to do better, and to find his true purpose, his true path, and his true goals beyond satiating his hunger.

He analyzed anything he devoured. He analyzed their thoughts carefully, and the minds of those he ate became one with his own mind, and slowly he gained an ego, a powerful one.

Once a monstrous beast, he slowly forged himself into a man, devouring only warriors and intelligent fighters, and ignoring everything else, slaughtering them if needed, or leaving them for someone else to eat.

Unlike other Xenoids whose Egos are shaped by the beings they devour and assimilate, he was the contrary, his Ego always was first, and any other mind only fueled his Ego with new ideas, dreams, inspirations, and knowledge.

Therefore, he quickly gained a nickname "The Prideful One", the other Xenoids that had reached similar levels of intelligence didn't like him that much, he wasn't as beastly as they were, if anything he was very calm and composed, and very talkative, he liked talking about philosophy and many other things, and he often avoided themes such as slaughter, eating people, and the like.

Therefore, he gained many enemies even among his own family, other Xenoids that felt an instinctual hatred against him because he was so different, so much similar to the weaklings they ate and assimilated, so they tried to hunt him down.

And it ended badly for them, dozens, then hundreds, perhaps thousands of Xenoids died before his blade, a weapon he had chosen to become the source of his strength after his minds evolved and his ego developed preferences.

"Anybody that dares to look down on me again and attempt to kill me will face the same end as all of these pathetic vermin."

He didn't even eat his siblings, leaving them to rot or be eaten by other hungrier, younger Xenoids that integrated their colonies.

"You will die by my sword, and I shall not have any mercy. Even worse, I will not eat you, so even if you die, your mind won't become part of mine. Your death will only be embraced with darkness. As I won't let any pathetic bastard become part of who I am. I chose who to integrate, and none of you could ever be worthy."

His siblings hated him even more after such words, and he was constantly attacked, forced to test his blade many times, through battles to the death against his own kind was where he experienced the most challenges, helping him grow and forge his blade to the next level.

Unlike his other siblings that devoured trillions of living beings, or like Pleasurobolia that even assimilated an artificial star to gain her tremendous powers, he had done no such thing.

He fought with a blade for thousands of years while cautiously choosing his meals and who to integrate, powerful warriors, soldiers, intelligent strategists, the best the aliens from across the universe could offer him.

Eventually, and much later than the rest, he developed tremendous power, and his existence was elevated not through devouring foes but through endless training and perfecting the blade, developing all his supernatural abilities and powers towards wielding this weapon and nothing else.

He embraced Martial Arts as well as many philosophies of life, and perfected his very being, becoming the deadliest of all his siblings, but also the calmest of them all, someone that never minded talking for hours, enjoying a good time with the other Ascended Xenoids, whom he grew to care for and even perhaps love to an extent.

His life was indeed very different than everyone else, and he detested being treated the same as the other Xenoids, he was no monster, he was no aberration, he was a distinguished warrior and a swordsman!

"I will show you my true self, my true form…!"

With a mighty roar, his entire body transformed, his red flesh and alien appearance suddenly changed, as Blake's eyes widened in disbelief. The Xenoid suddenly gained smooth white skin covering his body, his monstrous half turned from insect-like to demon-like, becoming red skinned, with sharp fangs and a long black and red horn on his forehead.

His hair became true hair, growing long and silky with black color, while his half demon face became white colored hair, his clothes turned completely white, glowing brightly, and becoming long and majestic.

A crown made of silver and white light emerged above his head, resembling that of a God of the Blade, made of tiny swords, hundreds of them.

And although he had no sword anymore, two manifested in each of his hands, made out of his own Aura Materialized into them…

Blake pushed him this hard, that his body reacted, and finally, he had unleashed his True Awakening.

His True Form!

"He doesn't even look like a Xenoid anymore?! What is the meaning of this?!"

Blake was left speechless, from a Xenoid, Prideulieven changed completely, becoming a half-human and half-demon. His half human face was handsome, with a calm smile and his eye closed, and his demon face looked ferocious, but still rather handsome, with an evil smile and sharp fangs, and a bright yellow and red colored eye.

"As you can see, Blake… I am no monster."

Prideulieven roared, as he swung both blades against Blake and Bravelion, two massive waves of energy reached the Vampire.

"I am a God."

SLAAASH! SLAAASH!

"Ungh?!"

Before Blake could see what happened, the two blades had already cut through Bravelion's arms and wings!
