The System Mecha is so unscientific

With a deal struck with Paul Grimheart, Da finally had access to the resources he needed. A hidden, state-of-the-art workshop, nestled deep within the Grimheart family's holdings, became his sanctuary. It was a haven of advanced machinery, a space designed for creation.

The Creation Process:

Da dove headfirst into the construction of Fireboy. He worked tirelessly, fueled by a burning ambition to create something truly extraordinary. He spent weeks refining the plans, adjusting and recalculating, until the design was perfected.

First, he began with the chassis. The alloy plates he had salvaged from the freighter formed the core, providing a robust and resilient frame. He painstakingly welded the plates together, reinforcing the joints and creating a skeletal structure that could withstand immense stress. He then integrated the advanced cooling system from the generator, carefully rerouting the pipes and cooling elements to dissipate the heat generated by Fireboy's powerful systems.

Next came the integration of the power source: the Firestone. Found in the ruins of the old world, it was a black iron level fire type  artifact or treasure. It pulsed with a vibrant, untamed fire energy, Da had to construct a containment chamber that not only contained this energy but harnessed it.

Finally, the outer plating was added. A thick layer of armored plating covered the chassis, providing protection against ballistic and energy weaponry.

With the frame completed, Da focused on the core systems. He integrated the control mechanisms, the sensors, and the communication arrays. He fine-tuned the internal network, ensuring that the various systems could communicate seamlessly with each other. He worked day and night, driven by a passion and a relentless determination.

Abilities:

Fire Energy Blade (Melee Weapon): A plasma blade that extends from the forearm. It's energized by the Firestone and can cut through most materials. Its power increases as Fireboy Levels up. It's Da's primary melee weapon, capable of causing catastrophic damage to targets.

Energy Pistol (Ranged Weapon): Integrated into a holster on Fireboy's left hip, the same weapon Da used before. Efficient energy weapon with a high rate of fire.

Enhanced Sensory Systems: Integrated sensors providing expanded visual, auditory, and tactical awareness to the pilot.

Emergency Ejection System: A last-resort escape system to eject Da from Fireboy's cockpit in case of critical damage.

Fire Energy Shield (Level 5 - Unlockable): Project a force-field for short duration.

Inferno (Level 10 - Unlockable): Fireboy can release the firestone energy out from its body in the form of fire.

Super Heat (Level 20 - Unlockable): The ability for Fireboy to channel the fire energy to any area of its body, drastically raising the temperature of its target.

Testing and Refinement:

Da spent weeks running Fireboy through rigorous tests. He calibrated the systems, fine-tuned the controls, and pushed the mech to its limits. The first few test runs were chaotic. The Firestone was a volatile energy source, and its power surged erratically. The energy blade overloaded and discharged, creating a series of uncontrolled fires.

But Da persevered. He made adjustments, refined the protocols, and slowly brought the mech under control. He learned its strengths, its weaknesses, and how to maximize its potential. Each successful test boosted Da's confidence and strengthened his resolve.

Finally, the day arrived when Fireboy was ready for its first true test. The workshop was transformed into a testing ground, with holographic targets, simulated combat scenarios, and energy-absorbing shields.

Da stepped into the cockpit, his heart pounding with excitement. He strapped himself into the pilot's seat, closed the hatch, and activated the systems. Fireboy roared to life, its systems humming and the Firestone pulsing with controlled energy.

The energy blade extended from Fireboy's forearm, its plasma core crackling with energy. Da swung the blade and cleaved through the holographic targets with ease.

"Fire energy blade, level up!" he commanded.

The blade flared, and the power surged, cutting through the toughest targets. The energy pistol also worked flawlessly.

Da maneuvered Fireboy through the simulated combat scenarios, testing its agility, its combat capabilities, and its overall effectiveness.

Fireboy performed beyond his expectations. He used the energy blade to dismantle enemy combatants. He used the energy pistol to take out enemies at range. He moved with surprising speed and precision, making effective use of his enhanced sensors.
