Chapter 570: Is this the End?

The moment that this announcement spread all over the world, the humans could not help but get excited. At this moment, they understood that they had finally completed the problem that they had been encountering all this while.

When they remembered the time that the apocalypse had descended into the world, they had felt despair. Many people did not understand what was going on, until the prompt appeared. But even then, it was quite difficult for them to be able to change from living in a peaceful world, to suddenly living in the world that was dominated by strength.

Many people had suffered, many people have been killed, many people had lost their loved ones, many people have been betrayed because of many reasons, and many more things had happened. But even then, finally, they had managed to complete the battle for domination.

This was something that was extremely worrying. After all, with many members of the other races descending into the world, they could easily deal with the humans. They possessed a great advantage, and that was something that they had utilized to destroy many territories that belonged to the humans.

It was a good thing that there was Alex, who was the nemesis for the zombie race. The nemesis for the other races could be ignored, considering that they did not have much of an impact in the end, considering that the majority of them could only easily kill the members of the other races, while others had been killed before even knowing that they were actually the nemesis.

With Alex, the human population that had already declined was able to be boosted once again considering that a large number of zombies had been converted into humans. And due to that, the humans were able to survive, and it was going to be quite difficult for them to be extinct.

Nevertheless, due to the leadership of Henry, the strongest human and strongest being all over the world, they had been able to finally complete the mission. Finally, they believed that they could live in peace. Of course, they hoped that nothing like the apocalypse happened again.

But of course, not everybody thought the same way. Others understood that after this battle for domination had been completed, there was definitely a game field that they would be entering.

While others were anticipating the future, others were extremely nervous about it. After all, nobody could tell what they were going to face next, and how things would turn out to be if they encountered other races.

At the same time, others believe that there was definitely somebody that was behind the apocalypse. Otherwise, why would they be notified about it? This seemed to be a game that was being played by some Supreme beings, but there was nothing that they could do about it, considering that they were not strong enough to be able to deal with the supreme being.

Nevertheless, the moment that the prompt appeared in the front of each and every human, they were all relieved. Finally, they were anticipating for the rewards, wondering what it was that they were going to be given.

On the other hand, the members of the other races could only sigh. They understood that they had lost. It was impossible for them to be able to go back to their own worlds again, considering that they had been informed that in order for them to be able to go back, they would have to win the battle for domination.

But thinking much about it, they understood that it was good that they survived. Otherwise, they would have definitely been eliminated. With the strength that the humans possessed, it was definitely impossible for them to be able to deal with them.

Even at this moment, they had never thought of banding together in order to be able to deal with the human race. After all, just the number of divine rank experts that the human race possessed was suffocating.

For a moment, they could not help but wonder if they had been brought here to die, or to fight the battle for domination. After all, the strongest race only possessed less than 20 divine rank experts. (This was not considering the sea race.)

On the other hand, the humans possessed almost a thousand divine rank experts. Additionally, each and every one of them had already reached level 9 of the divine rank. As for those that had not reached level 9 of the divine rank, they number in tens of thousands.

In short, as time continued moving by, the number of divine rank experts within the human race kept on increasing on a daily basis. Although they did not understand how it was possible for the humans to be able to get such a large number of divine rank experts, the humans themselves understood.

Somehow, Henry had decided to improve the talents of the majority of the people within his empire. As long as they contributed enough, they would be rewarded. Of course, that implied that the contribution that was required had been reduced, and that was the reason why they were able to be rewarded heavily.

Henry had done this simply because with the members of the other races joining the Domination Star empire, there were no longer any members of the other races for the humans to kill. Due to that, it was impossible for them to be able to get enough merit points that they could utilize in order to be able to get the limit breaker crystals from the apocalyptic store.

So, Henry decided that in case they wanted to get the limit breaker crystal, they would have to submit a certain number of mutation crystals. Of course, the number of crystals that Henry required were enough to be able to purchase the limit breaker crystal from the system store.

That was the reason why it was quite easy for him to be able to purchase a large number of limit breaker crystals and grant them to many people, enabling tens of thousands to be able to reach the divine rank.

Tens of thousands might seem as many people, but when you think about the population of the humans that numbered in billions, it was definitely a small number. But even then, it was enough to be able to intimidate the members of the other races into complete submission.

Henry had already anticipated this, and that was the reason why he was standing on top of the main territory building. Behind him, Olivia and the others that belonged to the core of the group that he had been with ever since the start of the apocalypse stood with solemn expressions on their faces.

Even though this was an occasion that they were supposed to be happy about, they were not at all. Instead, they looked at Henry nervously, wondering what was going to happen next.

Henry had previously informed them that there was something that was going to happen the moment that the battle for domination was completed. He was not sure about it, considering that even he himself had only been informed by the system that there was something that was trying to interfere with it.

The system was not sure about what was happening, but even then, it gave Henry a warning that something might happen, and that something might affect him greatly.

Henry had thought that perhaps his enemies had somehow managed to detect him, but he immediately rejected that idea. After all, even the enemies that he faced were definitely not capable of dealing with the system, considering that the system’s strength was not something that they could understand.

Additionally, even Henry himself had been feeling some signs of danger. He could not exactly tell what was happening, but even then, he felt like they were going to be affected soon.

The biggest event that was going to happen next was the completion of the battle for domination. And as the time approached, Henry continued getting the feeling, and it got stronger each time.

Finally, today, he realized that the feeling had already gotten to him. That was the reason why he informed Olivia and the others about this matter.

Henry turned around and looked at the group in front of him. He could not help but feel emotional, considering that this was the group that he had been with ever since the start of the apocalypse.

The group included Olivia, Jasmine, Julie, Adam, Diana, Storm, Lenta, Nancy, Wendy, Alicia and finally, his parents and little brother. It could be said that all those that were quite familiar with Henry were currently present, including Adam’s and Olivia’s parents.

Henry opened his mouth and finally began speaking. "I don’t really know what is going to happen, but what I know is the fact that there is something big that is going to happen next. It might be a good thing, but it might be a bad thing at the same time. So, it’s better for us to be prepared for the worst, while hoping for the best."

"We have been together for all this while, and the bonds that we share are definitely so deep. But even then, there are some things that are beyond us at some points, like the apocalypse that we experienced.

So, no matter what happens next, I do believe that each and everyone of you will be able to hold on, just as you had managed to hold on until the end of the apocalypse."

Everybody suddenly got tense when they heard what Henry was saying. It was as if he was telling them goodbye. Of course, they were completely confused about what he was implying, but they hoped that nothing would go wrong.

Silence dominated the area, until finally, 5 minutes that had been given until the rewards were given ended. At that moment, a prompt appeared in front of everybody.

But it was at that moment that the prompt appeared in front of everybody that Olivia and the others suddenly witnessed something that horrified them.

Just behind Henry, a black hole suddenly appeared. In the next moment, a huge hand suddenly emerged from it, and grabbed Henry before pulling him inside. In the next moment, the black hole disappeared as if it did not exist at all.

This was something that had happened so fast that even with their current abilities, they were not able to react at all. By the time that they were reacting, Henry had already been swallowed by the black hole, and had disappeared. They could not detect his presence at all.

At that instance, everything became chaotic, as the group completely forgot about the rewards of completing the mission. But this did not go on for long, considering that only a few minutes later, everything in the entire world suddenly paused. It was as if time in this world had suddenly been stopped.
