Chapter 568: Elemental Hall

It was a mixture of genders, but one thing stood out about each and everyone of them. That was the fact that they were extremely young, at least they were young during the time that they were being sealed within the coffins.

After they came over, the leader of the group, who seemed to be stronger than Lucian introduced himself as George. He went ahead and informed Henry about who they were, and it turned out that they were a member of a particular group that have been sealed up by their elders.

Of course, it might be true that the human race possessed only a single leader, but even then, it was impossible for there not to be factions. For that reason, there existed several factions, but they did not fight against each other, but instead, it was just like the presence of schools within a nation.

Although they competed with each other, they would definitely band together when dealing with an enemy that was against them.

According to George, previously, there was nothing like nations and so on. Instead, this continent possessed five continents. And in each and every continent, there were humans. But of course, before the apocalypse, each continent represented an empire.

And after the apocalypse descended, all the humans struggled to survive. And for that reason, the majority of the humans decided to come to the Blazing continent, and that was where the empire of the human race was created.

Of course, it was impossible for humans not to exist on the other continents. It was just that they had managed to form teleportation channels that they could utilize in order to be able to move around from one continent to another.

This was a method that they had utilized in order to be able to ensure the security of all the territories that were located on the other continents. The reason why those territories existed was simply because they wanted to get as much resources as possible.

If they simply centralized within the Blazing continent, they were definitely going to miss the resources that would appear within the other parts of the continent and the other continents as well. For them to be able to develop, it was definitely inevitable that they would require the resources.

That was the reason why they had no choice but to spread out. But it was a good thing that they possessed the teleportation channels, something that allowed them to be able to move freely from one territory to another. But of course, to teleport from one territory to another was something that required huge resources.

For that reason, unless there was an emergency, or the resources were being moved, it was definitely impossible for a person to be able to move from one continent to another freely. Only the leaders and those that held high positions within the human race could move like that.

Nevertheless, at the end of it all, the human race was not capable of resisting the strength of the other races. At some point in time, several members of the other races had decided to band together in order to resist the human race, and that was the reason why they were almost eliminated.

Left with no choice, the elders of the territories that they were in together with the factions that they belonged to came up with a solution. Understanding that it was inevitable that they were going to die, at least, they decided that they were going to save the hope for the human race.

Other than having a glimmer of hope, they were hoping that they would manage to prevent the other races from winning the battle for Domination. As long as they did not manage to dominate the entire human race, that implied that they had failed.

And it seemed that they had succeeded. Of course, the humans that were sealed were not sealed only on this continent, but instead, in all the continents. It was where these ruins were that there had been territories before the human race faced the danger of extinction.

But of course, it seemed that the emperor of the human race at that time did not simply sacrifice himself to be able to seal the humans all over the world, but instead, he also did something that managed to activate a dungeon.

As for what method it was that he had utilized in order to be able to set up a dungeon, something that was extremely powerful, completely supported by the apocalypse, they did not know. But they understood one thing, that was the fact that the majority of the ruins were definitely located within the dungeons.

The only exception was the ruin that had appeared in the western part of Crystal city during the start of the apocalypse. Although it was like a dungeon, it was definitely not as developed as the ones that Henry had encountered later on.

The level of the monsters that could be found within those dungeons was extremely low as compared to the divine rank monsters within these high dungeons. But thinking about it, it was within that dungeon that Sarah and Olivia had managed to get the elemental manipulation ability.

When Henry spoke about elemental manipulation ability, George immediately said a name, Elemental Hall. That was an extremely strong faction back then. Other than the faction that was led by the human race emperor, the Elemental Hall was the second when it came to combat strength.

Although it was made up out of mages alone, but even then, each and every one of them was extremely strong. That was the reason why they were capable of dominating the other factions, and being just below the emperor faction.

Henry thought about it, and he remembered that according to Olivia and the others, it seemed that they had actually encountered the spirits of those people. It seemed that they had been sealed away differently as compared to George and the others.

When Henry mentioned the fact that his friends had actually encountered members of the Elemental Hall and had even received elemental manipulation abilities from them, they could not help but tense up.

"It seems that the Elemental Hall was destroyed in the end. I never thought that they were actually going to be so selfless that they sacrificed themselves, in such a way that they did not even live behind anybody." George stated with a sigh.

According to George, for Henry’s friends to be able to encounter the spirits that were linked with the Elemental Hall, that implied only one thing, that was the fact that they had actually died back then.

But even then, they definitely utilized a special technique that they possessed, to be able to separate part of their souls and seal them away. That was just a method that they were using in order to be able to preserve the skills that they possessed, and pass them to the future generations.

It seemed that they possessed hope that in the future, the humans would actually survive. Otherwise, they would have definitely not risked their lives like that, to decrease the strength that they possessed to separate a part of their souls, for preservation of the skills that they possessed.

By separating part of their souls, it was clear that they would reduce their strength. But even then, after doing something like that, they still went ahead and fought against the members of the other races.

Henry could not help but feel that there was something that was not right about it. After all, previously, it seemed that Olivia and the others had said that they might actually encounter the members of the Elemental Hall in the future.

But in any case, since George had said that they might have actually died, then he decided not to focus as much on it for now. But nevertheless, he decided that he would definitely pay that dungeon a visit once again.

The only problem was the fact that the dungeon had disappeared after a while, and until today, it had never appeared again. Henry was not sure about the reason behind that phenomena, but even then, he would do research about it.

Henry went ahead and informed the group about what was happening at the moment. The group could not help but be completely flabbergasted when they realized that the human race had actually managed to defeat the other races at this moment.

Previously, they had thought that they were going to be very crucial during this time. In case the apocalypse had not reached the final stage, or had just entered into the final stage, with their appearance, they were definitely going to be able to change the tide of the battle for domination to favor the human race.

But now, it seemed that even with their appearance, there was nothing that they were going to change, considering that the human race already possessed a huge advantage.

But even then, they could not help but get excited. This was definitely what the elders back then had been hoping for. They hoped that the human race would be able to win the battle for domination, and make the human race reign supreme.

Henry did not bother that much with the group, and instead, he led them out of the dungeon. He brought them to the headquarters of the Domination Star territory, and left them to Olivia. As for himself, he decided to pay a visit to the other dungeons so that he could release the rest of the people that had been sealed away.

As for the matter of this group of people causing trouble within the territory, that was something that Henry was the least afraid of. Just within the headquarters, there were definitely more than 100 people that had already reached the divine rank. This was the area of congregation for the humans from all the continents after all.
