"Is the mansion collapsing?"

Tiel murmured.

The sound was unmistakably that of something collapsing. The noise that had been relentlessly chasing them from below had finally reached this place.

"It's best to evacuate everyone right now."

Ian Dross spoke first, and Karl and Ilum quickly ordered everyone still inside the Everard mansion to evacuate immediately.

The basement was vast, and they had no idea how far the destruction might spread.

Because of this, even the garden or courtyard of the Everard mansion wasn't considered safe. Karl and Ilum ushered everyone out beyond the mansion’s walls.

"What’s going on?"

Ludian, who had come out late and heard the news, helped with the evacuation and asked. Ferdie shrugged.

"There’s no time for explanations."

"Tch."

Ludian didn’t press further. Karsus and Alpheus also made sure Tiel was safely escorted out of the mansion.

Once all the servants, along with the others, were outside, the Beastkin of Everard stared at them with curious eyes, seemingly concerned if something had happened to the mansion.

Karl reassured them, telling them "It’s nothing, go back to what you were doing," and the servants, now outside, looked back at the Everard mansion.

Would the mansion collapse?

"Do you think it will...?" Tiel asked cautiously. Ian Dross nodded.

"The basement has completely collapsed, so the mansion above will probably collapse as well."
