The festival began with Andres, the deputy, praying to the Ruuset God on the hill beneath Arcadia, hoping for the balance of day and night in Crassion to be restored.

The place where they prayed was the same hill where Tiel and Karl had brought light back to Arcadia over a decade ago.

They hoped for the miracle of the Ruuset God to once again come to this empire, at the very spot where the previous miracle had occurred.

Andres wanted the festival to proceed like a luminaria, so the representatives from each family stood by his side once his prayer was complete.

Clemence from Arne, Olivier from Wolfgang, Karl from Everard, Rowen from Nestian, and Ferdie from Asterian all stood in attendance.

Ferdie no longer held the title of heir to the Asterian family since Tiel had inherited the position, but he stood there to represent Asterian.

Not long after,

"Bring Tiel here."

At Andres's words, one of the knights hurried off.

The representatives of each family stood in their places, looking at the hill.

Except for Rowen, the other four had been present on that day, so the hill was familiar to them.

They vividly remembered the moment when water returned to the land of water, when light returned to the land that had once lost it forever.

They each looked up at the hill with different thoughts, but the images in their minds were the same.

And at that moment,

A faint cheer rang out from somewhere. Karl turned his head, and so did Ferdie, Clemence, Olivier, and Rowen.
