“I sincerely invite you to become my aide-de-camp, and you need not worry about the remuneration. This position should be quite an improvement from being a librarian, and it comes with a certain status,” Miss Elizabeth said to Xu Mo.

Xu Mo was somewhat surprised. It seemed that Miss Elizabeth had taken his words to heart and was changing. She no longer exhibited her previous arrogance and haughtiness but was earnestly trying to win him over, even looking to recruit aides.

She had realized something.

Miss Elizabeth hadn’t slept at all last night. Indeed, she had come to a realization.
