“Tanya?” Lancelot immediately pieced together the Grim Reaper’s previous hint, “Raven Queen?”

“Raven Queen?” Soveris also spoke up in surprise, “Has She entered this Demon’s Domain as well?”

“The Raven Queen never truly left, only Her power is greatly scattered. And due to Her own circumstances, She couldn’t effectively communicate with Her followers. Losing touch with Her true form rendered Her almost mute.” The Lord of the Dead gently shook His head, “But I am different. As a deity, I can communicate directly with Her essence, and we have already reached an agreement… in the basement of that tavern.”

“That raven statue…” Soveris’s mouth dropped open in shock, “My Lord, when you say agreement, do you mean…”

“An alliance against the Lich, to end Peyton Derrick’s rule over this land.” Cranvo answered in an unusually calm tone, as if stating an undeniable fact.

“What happens after that?” Soveris asked with eager anticipation, “Will the curse on this land be lifted?”

“If you mean the endless revival of the dead with no chance for rest, then yes, that will no longer happen here.” Cranvo nodded, “But if you refer to the Derrick Kingdom fully returning to the Material Plane… I’m afraid not. Even if the demonic domain’s boundaries temporarily open after the demon lord is slain, they will close again after a while. This land has been detached from the Material Plane for too long, and has acquired properties that categorically reject it, like oil that cannot mix with water.”
