Countless Sage-level attacks converged on Rui, ravaging his entire body, leaving him no way to emerge from the sheer destruction that the creature unleashed upon him. Each attack, comprised of the genetic ability of some quasi-Transcendent monster or another, was woven together with each other attack as the chimera manipulated the very fabric of space to stitch together a tapestry of offense with the sole purpose of destroying the Dawnbringer.

Rui's instincts rang alarm bells as the blood-red Suns in his eyes flared with blinding brightness and a fierce determination to survive. He activated his most powerful defensive techniques, the Body of Water and Anti-Spiral, while simultaneously relying on the Prophecy of the Void and the SOUL System to foresee the future to its very depths, allowing him to choose a future with minimal damage to him.

The sheer onslaught of power he faced would have eviscerated virtually every other Martial Sage in existence.

Not Rui,

With the forbidden technique active each moment, he was as fast as Neo Godspeed at its fastest, he was as strong as with Hypertrophic Surge at its strongest, he was as tough as Nemean Blossom at its very toughest, and as regenerative as Weaving Blood as its very strongest.

These, along with the Transcendent Healing Fruit that healed him almost

instantaneously, allowed him to achieve a level of survivability that would have been absolutely important for any other Martial Sage.

And yet, he persevered.

He survived.

Even as the Transcendent-Grade creature unleashed every ounce of power it could against him, he just barely managed to survive by the skin of his teeth. The other Martial Sages launched into an absolute frontal assault against the evolved eldritch chimera.

Each and every single one of the hundreds of gathered Martial Sages launched their most powerful attacks as they desperately ravaged the eldritch chimera with every ounce of power they could.

The Devil deployed his Singularities, the Reverend of Reckoning leveraged his understanding of the evolved Order of the eldritch chimera to ravage its shifting vulnerabilities, while Bodhisattva Maitreyi scorched the monster with every ounce of power that she was able to muster.

And yet, the eldritch chimera didn't even acknowledge their existence.

No, its eyes, all million of them, were focused on the Dawnbringer.

Within the depths of each of the million of them was an inhuman, monstrous bloodlust of hellish intensity.

It would kill Rui no matter the cost.

Not even the full power of the Gigabrain, the forbidden technique, the Primordial Core, the Prophecy of the VOID, and all of his systems of thought and technique systems was enough to protect him from the sheer onslaught of offense that the eldritch chimera unleashed upon him.

Not even the Transcendent Healing Fruit was able to protect him from the sheer onslaught of destruction that the eldritch chimera was unleashing upon him.

His techniques were rapidly growing obsolete, forcing him to try and create superior techniques that were most fit for the circumstances that he was in, and yet not even the Forge of Creation was able to maintain its functionality under the sheer extremity of the circumstances that he was in.

It was his most powerful technique system, and yet it was unable to conjure up techniques that would allow him to survive the targeted destruction of the eldritch chimera. With millions of attacks converging on him with each second, even the Forge of Creation struggled to keep up with the sheer onslaught of techniques that ravaged Rui. The CREATION System was a system of thought that relied on the predictive model of the VOID algorithm to help simulate the outcome of each possible technique in the

current situation and against the current opponent.

And yet, even the astronomical brainpower of the Gigabrain failed in allowing the Forge of Creation to create techniques fast enough to deal with the endless onslaught of incoming attacks. The CREATION System's foresight depth was too shallow, making it impossible for him to conceive of techniques that were perfectly antithetical to his current circumstances at the moment.

"It is rendered obsolete."

His tone was ruthless.

The blood-red eyes flared with determination.

"It needs an upgrade."

On the spot, in the face of a Transcendent-Grade monster and the endless onslaught of power that the creature focused on him, he did the unthinkable.

He upgraded the Forge of Creation.

He was no longer going to evaluate the viability of techniques based on simulations

driven from the predictive model alone.

No, he would also prophesize how antithetical each attack would be.

The accuracy and precision of the CREATION System would rise to whole other levels far greater than what it used it be.
