The unfathomable depths of the Rui's pitch-black eyes clashed with the endless lust for destruction in the Devil's fierce gaze. The world trembled with great power and energy as Damian found himself barely able to hold himself back from leaping at Rui and tearing him apart with his extraordinary destruction. Kane gazed at his father with a shocked expression. "You want to fight him now?! You can't!"

He wasn't the only one who felt this way.

And yet, one look at the Devil, and it becomes very apparent that he isn't very willing to listen to reason. The only ones who could constrain the madman were the other Transcendent candidates among the Martial Sages.

However, neither the Boundless Light nor the Reverend of Reckoning seemed to be willing to move. They simply watched.

The air tingled with peril as the powerful peak Sage placed himself between the Devil and the Dawnbringer.

The Emperor's Shadow was known to be fiercely protective of the Dawnbringer and always made sure to keep an eye on him in the event that he needed his help. This was his own initiative, of course, as opposed to something told to him by the Emperor of Harmony.
