Greg gave its head a pat, “Take me to the Passageway between Two Realms.”

“As you command, master!”

Coming back to its senses, Yamata no Orochi quickly led Greg towards the crater.

“Master, be careful, it might be a bit hot inside.”

“I’m not afraid!”

Greg exhaled a breath of Dragon Breath, enveloping them both, and sat on Yamata no Orochi’s back as they flew into the volcano’s mouth.

His last visit to the God of Fire’s realm had prepared him for this kind of environment, so nothing here came as too much of a surprise.

Passing through the thick black smoke, they reached the magma pools where the air was thin and scorchingly dry.

Looking at the molten lava glowing red and yellow, Greg frowned, “Is the Passageway between Two Realms in a place like this?”

He had assumed that the passage would be in Siberia, since that’s where the Giant Dragon had come from to enter this world.

“It’s at the bottom of the lava.”

Fearing Greg would not believe, Yamata no Orochi took the lead and jumped in first.

Greg, unafraid of the high heat, hesitated only for a moment before following suit.
