Chapter 32 - 32 32 Cute, Obedient, and Violent_1
Chapter 32: Chapter 32 Cute, Obedient, and Violent_1 Chapter 32: Chapter 32 Cute, Obedient, and Violent_1 Grandpa Qin also squatted down and embraced both Granny Qin and Susu in his arms.
“Don’t be upset, old lady, I will protect Susu, and no one will look down on her.”
The Qin Family elders knew they couldn’t change the uniqueness of their daughter.
All they could do was pave the way for her as much as possible while they were alive, teaching her to be optimistic, strong, and how to conduct herself with others.
Susu, held by the elders, was a bit confused as to why they were so upset.
Even though she didn’t understand why, Susu didn’t want her mom and dad to be unhappy.
So Susu placed her little head on Granny Qin’s shoulder: “Mommy be good, daddy too, no crying oh.”
Her soft voice soothed the elders, just like when pacifying a child.
###
The next morning, Susu dressed herself and climbed out of bed, bumping into Qin Yuhuai as she was heading downstairs.
Qin Yuhuai immediately turned his head away.
Then, he selectively ignored Susu and quickened the pace and range of his strides, descending two steps at a time rapidly.
Arriving downstairs, Qin Yuhuai looked back to see Susu following with her little short legs, toddling down from the stairs.
Her short legs moved quite deftly when running; there was a particularly adorable charm to it.
The little white cat following behind her, with even shorter legs, came tumbling down, and on the last few steps, simply rolled down.
After its soft body rolled down a few stairs, undisturbed by the fall, it quickly stood up and followed its little master’s steps toward the dining table.
Arriving at the table, Susu climbed up into her seat and sat down neatly.
Facing a table full of delicious food, Susu didn’t move an inch.
Huzi also lay obediently beneath Susu’s chair, waiting patiently for mealtime.
Qin Yuhuai sat opposite Susu, who looked obedient and indescribably cute at that moment.
However, he still found it hard to accept the identity of this little girl, as well as what she had done to him yesterday…
Clearly, the little girl in front of him was well-behaved, sensible, and polite.
But yesterday, she had…
Qin Yuhuai turned his face away, deliberately avoiding looking at Susu’s soft and cute little face to prevent recalling some unpleasant memories.
Susu also saw Qin Yuhuai, but she didn’t have as many thoughts as him.
Her sparkling big eyes were filled with nothing but anticipation for the food.
Always early risers, both Granny and Grandpa Qin arrived at the dining table promptly after finishing their morning exercises.
Seeing Qin Yuhuai and Susu sitting opposite each other peacefully.
Both Granny and Grandpa Qin couldn’t help but breathe a sigh of relief.
Now, only Yuze was missing.
“What’s this young rascal still doing in bed?
Doesn’t he have school?
Trying to be late again?” Granny Qin muttered discontentedly.
After speaking, she set down her chopsticks and decided to personally go upstairs to wake up her grandson.
“Mommy, let me do it!
You rest, eat your food!” Susu eagerly volunteered to take on the task of waking up Yuze for Granny Qin.
Susu knew her mom was getting on in years and wasn’t suited for running up and down stairs.
She was young, she had the energy, and she felt she should be doing the heavy lifting!
“Susu, you’re going to go?”
“Mhm-mhm.
Don’t be mad, mommy, I’ll take care of it for you!”
“Alright then, I’ll leave it to you!
But you have to promise mommy to be gentle with your little nephew, okay?” Granny Qin cautioned.
“Mhm-mhm, no problem!
Leave it to me!” Susu patted her little chest, confidently assuring her.
After speaking, Susu hopped off the dining table and scurried up to the second floor.
The little white cat also ran after her.
The pair, big and small, set out to do their task with vigor and energy.
Watching Susu run upstairs, Granny Qin said, “Sigh, despite her young age, Susu is really considerate, knowing that her dad and I are aging and not so energetic, she always rushes to handle the physical tasks.”
Granny Qin intentionally spoke of Susu’s virtues in front of her eldest grandson.
Qin Yuhuai wore an expressionless face, and it was unclear whether he was listening.
At this time, Yuze was still asleep in his room.
He had been up until three in the morning playing online games with his buddies.
Now, he was deeply asleep and didn’t hear his room door being opened, nor the human-pet duo sneaking into his room.
Susu climbed onto the bed with her hands gripping the edge and nagged at the big lump under the blanket: “Time to get up, get up, you lazy worm!
If you don’t get up, I’ll spank you!”
What do you think?
