Chapter 20: Chapter 20 Is the little monster sent by heaven to punish me?_1 Chapter 20: Chapter 20 Is the little monster sent by heaven to punish me?_1 Huh?

Huh?

Huh huh huh?

Huzi’s round tiger eyes were glaringly wide.

Why did the little owner let go?

Without Susu’s protection, Huzi instantly lost steam.

Looking at Susu, then at Qin Yuze.

Qin Yuze sneakily laughed, “You little thing!

Even your little owner thinks you’re in the wrong!

Now let’s see what you’re going to do!”

As Qin Yuze closed in step by step, Huzi’s tiger body shuddered.

Just when Qin Yuze thought he was about to catch Huzi, Huzi darted out the door like a wisp of smoke.

Seeing Huzi fleeing like a scaredy-cat, Susu gave chase.

“Hey!

You two!”

He watched as the pair, one human and one pet, dashed out the door.

After a moment of astonishment, Qin Yuze quickly followed suit.

The little rascal!

He hadn’t even given it a whooping, and it had already taken off!

He chased all the way to the yard, only to see Susu jumping up in front of the big iron gate and pressing the button to open it.

The little guy might be short, but when he jumped, he could reach pretty high; he actually managed to hit their button!

Before Qin Yuze could react, Susu had already sprinted out the gate!

“Dammit!”

If earlier he had rushed out just to seek revenge on that little beast, now he had to hurry and chase Susu back!

At this moment, the grandparents weren’t in the living room.

If this little girl were to disappear from his sight, he wouldn’t have enough heads for his grandparents to clobber!

Qin Yuze sprinted out the door with the speed of a 100-meter dash.

After exiting the gate, Qin Yuze frantically looked around.

Luckily, the little one hadn’t gone far but had headed to the villa next door.

Qin Yuze hurried over.

Susu stood at the gate of the next-door villa, pulling at the pitch-black iron gate, peeking inside through the gap.

“Don’t run off.

If you disappear, Grandpa and Grandma are going to dissect me piece by piece!” Qin Yuze panted as he spoke.

“Huzi ran inside,” Susu said while looking at the gate.

“That little thing!

I wasn’t really going to harm it!

I don’t have any history of animal abuse!

Even if it misbehaves, I can’t possibly kill it!

I, a man of my stature, I…”

Qin Yuze took a deep breath and calmed down before saying to Susu, “Wait for me.

I’ll try to contact the owner of this villa and see if we can find your little kitty!”

Although he wasn’t fond of Susu, he knew that if the cat wasn’t found, Susu was sure to cry.

Just the thought of that scene terrified Qin Yuze.

Qin Yuze made several calls, inquiring about the villa owner’s information.

But after asking around, nobody knew.

The villa had been standing for decades, yet not a soul knew who owned it!

Qin Yuze ended the calls and upon looking up, the sight before him made him exclaim in shock, “What are you doing!”

Susu was climbing up the green vines on the villa wall!

Her little fleshy hands gripped the vines, and her small legs were energetically kicking upwards.

One move after another, and in the blink of an eye, she had climbed up!

Qin Yuze quickly went to grab her, attempting to pull this reckless little thing down.

But he was one step too late, only managing to catch one of Susu’s little feet.

And even then, he lost his grip in Susu’s struggle, leaving behind only a shoe in his hand.

And when he looked up again, where was Susu’s figure?

The little rascal had flipped over the wall!

Ah ah ah!

She didn’t fall down, did she?

Qin Yuze looked at the tiny pink shoe in his hand, not even the size of his palm, and freaked out.
