Gao Yang was quite surprised, but after a moment's thought, he found it reasonable.

Such an important thing as the Miracle Rune is safest when carried on oneself.

"Yes." Kylin nodded. "I'll give you one minute. Is that enough?"

"Good." Suddenly, a rune appeared in Kylin's right hand.

Gao Yang was startled: When did he take it out? Why didn't I catch the movement at all?

It was as if a mysterious magician had conjured up a rune circuit out of thin air.

—Could it be he's trying to fool me with a fake?

Gao Yang couldn't help but entertain such an absurd thought.

But he quickly realized he was overthinking.

The Miracle Rune Circuit was right there, held between Kylin's slender fingers. Like other runes, it was a circular thin plate.

However, it seemed slightly larger than other rune circuits, and its surface was darker than other dark metals, with a hint of gold beneath the silver-white.

Its surface was engraved with complex and intricate path patterns, with a subtle glow flowing through them.

In the center of the front was a hexagram totem.

The shape was very similar to the hexagram Gao Yang first triggered when he activated the system.

Gao Yang had seen this totem in the Talent Temple and had guessed it was related to the Miracle system, and he was right.

"Isn't it just like that?" Kylin asked with a smile.

"Yeah, it looks no different from other runes." Gao Yang hesitated for a moment, then mustered the courage to ask, "Can I touch it?"
