Chapter 154 - 154 s 153-154 Secrets

Chapter 154: Chapters 153-154 Secrets Chapter 154: Chapters 153-154 Secrets Gu Ya stared blankly at the little wife in his arms.

He had never thought that his little wife would take the initiative to kiss him.

Even when going to sleep at night, his wife was on guard against him, let alone taking the initiative to kiss him like she just did.

Gu Ya felt incredibly flattered!

Just how much had this little thing in his arms drunk?

To be so intoxicated?

“Yunjin!” Gu Ya called out to his little wife, deliberately lowering his voice to a husky whisper.

It was incredibly teasing.

Su Yunjin had no idea what she was doing. Drunk as she was, her courage had grown significantly, and all she knew now was that Gu Ya had kissed her before, and she needed to kiss him back for fairness.

Gu Ya had spent the evening accompanying her father Su Zhongshi in drinking rice wine, barely touching the dishes on the table.

Now Gu Ya’s lips tasted entirely of the sweet flavor of rice wine. Finding it sweet, Su Yunjin smacked her lips, as if savoring the taste.

It seemed as if she was relishing the taste.

Su Yunjin’s sudden movement took Gu Ya completely by surprise, as if he were frozen in place.

They were currently outside in the courtyard.

Her father and younger brother were dining not far behind in the yard; Gu Ya really feared that his little wife might do something bold.

“Yunjin, behave, don’t be naughty!”

Gu Ya immediately quickened his pace, striding with his little wife in his arms and hurried back to the room.

He rushed back to the room with his little wife and immediately closed the door behind them.

Gu Ya had never seen his little wife so endearingly naïve.

In her drunken state, his little wife was completely different from her usual self.

Gu Ya found his wife in such a state to be incredibly enticing.

As if she were a little rascal.

“Husband!”

Su Yunjin reached out and pinched Gu Ya’s handsome face, then leaned in with a secretive air, whispering in Gu Ya’s ear, “Husband, I have a secret to tell you!”

As she spoke, Su Yunjin’s entire body was swaying; if it weren’t for Gu Ya’s support, she likely would have fallen over.

Gu Ya raised an eyebrow at his little wife in his arms, wondering if she even knew what she was saying in her state.

As for the secret his wife mentioned, Gu Ya had no real interest in finding out.

Su Yunjin stared at Gu Ya’s handsome face for a while, then suddenly smiled and leaned her little head close to him again, “Hehe, husband, you are so good-looking!”

“…” Gu Ya’s mouth twitched, was this the secret the little thing in his arms wanted to tell him?

After planting a kiss on Gu Ya’s handsome face, Su Yunjin giggled sweetly, stretching out her hand to pinch his face again.

Realizing what his little wife intended, Gu Ya caught her wrist before her hand could touch his face.

Was this little thing getting addicted to teasing him?

“Husband, let go.” Su Yunjin’s hand was caught by Gu Ya and she couldn’t pull it away, so she pouted and asked him to release her.

Gu Ya, still holding his little wife’s wrist, looked at her and asked, “Yunjin, tell me, just how much wine did you have today?”

To be this drunk.

It must’ve been quite a feat.

Su Yunjin was confused but still clearly remembered telling Gu Ya that she hadn’t drunk any wine.

With her other hand, she held up a finger to Gu Ya.

“One bowl?” Gu Ya guessed, watching his little wife’s gesture.

Su Yunjin shook her head, “No!”

Raising another finger, she said, “Husband, look!”

“Two bowls?” Gu Ya frowned. Again, Su Yunjin denied, still giggling, “No, it wasn’t two bowls.”

“…” At that point, Gu Ya stopped asking since the little thing was so drunk she probably had no idea what she was talking about.

Without continuing the interrogation, Su Yunjin at that moment wrapped her arms around Gu Ya’s neck, shaking her little head with a giggling “Hehe, husband, I haven’t had a single drink.”

“…” The little thing in his arms was this drunk and still dared to say she hadn’t had a single drink.

Gu Ya stared at Su Yunjin, and sensing her own guilty conscience, the drunken Su Yunjin changed her claim, adding, “Just a little bit.”

“A little bit and you’re this drunk?” Gu Ya laughed. Su Yunjin pouted and wasn’t happy anymore, “Who says I’m drunk? I’m not drunk at all; I could keep drinking and still wouldn’t be drunk.”

“Alright, alright, you’re not drunk, you’re not drunk.” Gu Ya didn’t argue with his little wife in her muddled state and went along with her words. He walked to the edge of the bed and gently placed her on it.

Only moments ago Su Yunjin was protesting that she wasn’t drunk, but as soon as Gu Ya laid her on the bed, she no longer made a fuss and fell asleep, resting her head against the pillow.

Gu Ya looked at his little wife, her face red, sleeping with her eyes closed.

Suddenly, Gu Ya felt that his little wife getting drunk wasn’t entirely a bad thing.

Just then, Mrs. Shen, who had just finished preparing ginger soup, knocked on the door from outside, “Son-in-law, I’ve made some ginger soup for sobering up, is Yunjin asleep?”
